Hotel is great but I am leaving a poor Review purely with the fact being stranded in Dubai due to the war they are demanding payment and not following UAE law that they must provide accommodation for stranded tourists if they are unable to pay and the hotel manager was unhelpful and didn’t care

I would recommend this hotel as a single women traveling on her own. Had a great vibe & upstairs restaurant by pool great music & food. Very comfortable to sit & eat on your own. 24 hour coffee station. Lovely room & very helpful staff with easy access to taxis for Kite beach surrounding attractions. Will come back & stay at that hotel.

Only complaint was I choose that hotel so I could walk straight on the canal but no access with construction so did not take advantage of the canal hotel walk every morning. Didn’t want to walk 10mins outside hotel to get to canal along the main road.

Great hotel, didn't use the pool but it looked busy so must have been great. The Breakfast was really good. Only downside is there is still a lot of construction going on around the property and directly behind the hotel. So if you sit on the terrace to have breakfast be prepared for some dust and noise. I would stay here again

Very nice but could improve.

The hotel is very nice, service is well intentioned, overly polite as per training but insincere as requests for later check out rejected - unless we pay extra. Magnanimous gesture they finally offered a 30 minute extension! I requested 2 hours, so I wasn’t being unreasonable. The pool area is the highlight but inadequate number of sunbeds for guests so we missed out and sat at bar table. We decided to hire a car but when we arrived for the ‘free’ guest car parking, people had double and triple parked and it was chaos. Not much in local area so either hire a car or spend $20-30 on Ubers every outing. Zero eco friendliness as they provide tiny bottles of single use plastic toiletries and then leave a card about being environments concerned so recommending re-using the towels! Bit ironic.

Very unhappy with our stay.

Don’t get the Suite if you would like to have a nice view. It’s sad that you are paying more for a bigger room when in fact a smaller room has better views and for whatever reason the hotel cannot inform you that the pool, bar and restaurant will be closed because of preparation for an event.

I am sorry but I am very unhappy about my stay and it’s not acceptable that customers can’t at least be informed that amenities aren’t available during their stay.

The concierge was great but the rest was so not worth the money we spent, especially for a 5-star hotel.

I was disappointed with my recent stay at Ramada. The room felt outdated, old. The lighting in the room was quite dim and dingy. The shower was not up to the mark and there was a bad odor coming from the bathroom. Overall, my experience fell short of expectations, making it difficult to recommend this hotel. I would not rate this hotel as a 5 star, I would rate it as a low 1 star.

I want Expedia to give me reimbursement for my bad experience , as we paid 27000 INR for 2 night we could have easily spent another 13k and got four seasons , trident or Sofitel and get a real five star experience

Do not recommend this place . As the premises need some serious upgrade to call it 5 star

Truly amazing experience. While checking in, they offered a complimentary juice which was refreshing as you come in from hot weather. Then I was provided with room earlier than the check in time so went straight into the room which was great in itself. Plus the view you get while going up or down in the lift is just awesome

This hotel is in close proximity to the downtown area, shopping and other attractions. The pool area is very nice with views of the Burj Khalifa. There is a variety of food to choose from. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We met a lot of staff, some I cannot remember their names, but thank you to Binu, Sampath, Joesph and Issam!

Very good views of the city skyline

Very good stay! I had to upgrade my room because I was under the impression city view meant looking at the Burj Khalifa but it didn’t so I paid a little more to see the Burj Khalifa from our room. The rooftop was so nice and relaxing with the bar accessible. I will say you definitely have to get a taxi to still go anywhere since it’s not right next to everything in downtown. Overall I’d still stay here at this hotel.

We arrived at the hotel at 1:40 pm (check in time is at 2 pm). Elena from Reception informed us that our room is not ready, the pool is closed and shisha services are not available today. She kindly apologizes for the inconvenience and offers a late check out tomorrow (3 pm instead of noon). It was a reasonable offer. We had to wait about 1.5 hours before getting our room key. Spent some time at the coffee shop at the hotel. After we received a key and went to our room, we found out the room was still not ready, we had to wait an additional 20 minutes. We end up getting the room at 4 pm instead of 2 pm check in time.
Next day at noon Reception keeps calling to our room multiple times. My 1 year old baby was napping and that calls wake him up. I had to go to the reception and ask them not to disturb us with phone calls. Apparently, they were not aware about our 3 pm check out and asked us to vacate the room. I talked to the Front Office Manager (I believe his name is Gangorg) and explained the check in situation and multiple disturbing calls to our room from the front office. He did not make the situation any better. He makes me feel very unwelcome. I would expect much better service from a 5-star hotel, but did not get it from the Front office Manager.

Housekeeping:
Hotel is sparkly clean, thanks to housekeeping. We requested an additional blanket, and it was delivered in 5 minutes. Minifridge in our room did not work, housekeeping brought the new one in 5 minutes.

This is not a five star hotel, nor you receive a 5 star service. Won’t stay there again for sure. No mention of my VIP access and I had to change my room 3 times to get what I actually had originally booked. This obviously came with lots of attitude from the reception crew. However, on the positive side, Issama, Ayoub and David were excellent and very helpful. They all 3 were as part of the concierge team.

This Hotel is overrated. Very nice in presenting & appearance, but to start.. Very very expensive for not being a five or four star.. pool space is very limited… get there early and put a towel on chairs cause by 8am chairs are reserved and people don’t come back until 11am-1pm.. I’ve seen it, I had a canal view room. Needed late check out and no VIP was offered.. payed a full night to ck out after 6pm $$$..There’s a lot of hotels in Dubai.. would do research for the right one.

Delightful stay!

Stayed for an anniversary and was delightfully surprised to find a bowl of fruit and cake waiting for us in the room.

Staff is extremely helpful, as are the tour booking staff. Room is spacious. Never seen a glass wall in a bathroom before, but there is an auto curtain for that! Rooftop restaurant is great, decent happy hour half off drinks. Even shisha is you would like to try. Location is by tje bay and boardwalk, which provites a nice path for a run or nighttime stroll.

Poor service and below average hotel

Extremely disappointing... AVOID

The FIRST disappointment was the hotel state of repair and cleanliness, which are NOT what you'd expect for a '5 star'. Rooms are past their best and dirty. We found hairs of previous guests in the shower, on the taps, in the sink and on the bathroom walls, there was dust all around the bathroom light as well as stains on the blind. The shower leaked (a lot) and there were even exposed wires in it (live?). Images to show what we found attached.

Outside the room things are not better, the lobby and restaurant has an overwhelming perfumed smell (covering what?) and the less said about the pool area the better (see photo). It all feels a bit 'tacky' and old - maybe it would have been ok 10/15 years ago.

We'd have probably gone quietly and overlooked the poor state of repair and cleanliness had it not been for the SECOND disappointment - the hotel management.

Despite booking a 5 night stay cancelable rate, we found that somewhere in the small print there must have been a get out for them. Due to a flight cancellation we had move our stay forward. It was no problem to book an extra night at the start of our stay, but they would not allow us to cancel the last night. We were messed around for several days to find this information out, including multiple long waits, misinformation, promises of calls that never came and emails that weren't replied to. Decision makers refused to engage with us, instead passing messages through receptionists.
