It was our first time in Dubai, a friendly gentleman checked us in and upon arrival to the room we did notice few mistakes like overall cleanliness in the room and bathroom, ripped linen and towels , missing bathrobes, but we didnt think nothing of it since the location of the hotel and view from the room left us in awe. The issues came the following day, after asking multiple times front desk and housekeeping for fresh towels and bathrobes. It took us a day and a half and a total of five times visit to the front desk to eventually get the towels and bathrobes. The worst of all our linen was not changed for three days. The staff was very apologetic and after that we got fresh linen every day , extra towels, extra waters and amenities. We were grateful for the attentivnes of the staff, we are just dissapointed it was not from the start. We are visiting Dubai next year again for sure but will not stay in the same hotel again.

It was clean, nice location and we got an upgraded room as they told us.
There were some issue that we got quite disappointed by hotel’s policy. We get charged by a hotel taxi claiming double price than the normal ride ( we weren’t aware of the price) . We felt very disappointed of a hotel trying to mislead the people staying there about the price, since we didn’t plan to get a taxi through the hotel and they insist on the entrance.
The other negative side of this hotel is the noise from the street and the cars. I couldn’t get to sleep due to so much noise ( worth to mention that we stayed at 13th floor). I am happy that we stayed just a night there and no more.

This hotel is by far the worst 5 star property I have ever stayed. I should have known the rate was too good to be worth while. While having breakfast I have a few pieces of pastry left - they would not allow me to take them up to my room and would rather wasting it and throwing it away claiming that it was a Dubai rule. There is no rule that states you can not have food in your room hotel room. Absolutely absurd. Will never stay here again and would not recommend anyone else to do so.

This is in my opinion a five-star hotel at a budget price from the room size to the little things like three bottles of water instead of two. Nice view. Big comfortable bed. I would like more control over the AC it's set for 18° c. That's a little bit cold for me and I can't change it. It keeps going back to the same thing. It's got probably the best breakfast I've been in ever and I've been traveling for 3 years . Been into a lot of hotels and this is probably they best chance a little bit every morning. People are crowded in the restaurant. The biggest problems you want to get up and get more and they'll clean your table up by the time you get back and somebody else is sitting there. They need a little sign on the tables you can turn over and say Occupied. They have a bar restaurant on the 4th floor, same floor as the breakfast. Same floor as the pool. The same floor as as the gym and the salon. Everything's top notch and they're so many employees that are smiling and want to help you all the time. They even have a new razor for you in the bathroom, which is a first, plenty of drawer space in the hotel room to put things, extra pillows on the bed besides the four for the king size bed. The main restaurant down on the ground floor could be a little better in the sense of not too many go there but the food is great. Service is great! The girls are cute and very helpful, but the kitchen is out of sight and it appears that the restaurant is an afterthought. A large Canal Walk

I wouldn't recommend this hotel, the reservation although already paid, I had to process a second payment because they couldn't identify the reservation number. Still waiting the refund to be done.
The key-cards did not work, we had to go countless times to reception to get a new card.

I came for conference and had issues the moment I came. Note I to Dubai twice a year usually. It was the worst experience ever. As I arrived early in the morning my room was not ready. I was offered to have breakfast. Well it was the last time I had breakfast though I paid for it. During 10 minutes I was as to move to another table three times as I was alone and most tables were for families or couples. I travel around the world and sometimes I travel alone and I have never been told I sit at the wrong table. I am a adequate person and if the restaurant was fully booked I would do the in respect to other customers but the restaurant was empty.
When I reported the issue to the reception they apologized and that’s it. In advance I requested non smoking room as I gave allergy and I am total non smoker. Well I was given the most stinky smoky room . Unfortunate experience & do not recommend at all.

I had visits come to my room and I got a call stating that the need to come and show there ID’s at the front desk after being seen on camera. I have never gone to a hotel we’re you don’t have privacy.

I asked for 2 pages to be printed for me and I was told there is a charge then after few minutes someone said there was no charge.

Staff need training on how to treat customers with respect and they can also be a little friendly. I don’t think I will ever book at the hotel again.

I headed up a Real Estate Trade Mission with hundreds of realtors staying in 4 hotels and others paying less than me were getting not 1 but 2 breakfasts included...the room I was given was a smoking room and very loud at night. and I was expected to pay one price only to my surprise the price was higher by almost $200 us dollars more...no breakfast , noisy and a smokey room..ugh

We have stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and was offered room 1505.

Jafeer, Ali and Ojo were extremely helpful. Comparable to 5 star hotel service standards. The concierge assisted us with our shopping bags and even booked taxis for us. They went extra miles to assist us with whatever that we need.

I find that the concierge was more helpful that the reception. Only negative was that the room was quite small and a little of the way to the metro or Dubai mall. But service was fantastic.

Hotel is very expensive and definitely overcharging given it is far from being a 4 star hotel. Rooms extremely small. Housekeeping hoovering the corridors at 8 in the morning. Room was filled with flies. Upon check in, there was a water cap on the floor of the room and lots of biscuit crumbs. I informed the reception, but 2 days later they were still there. Staff are very nice and helpful. Food is very good.

When we checked in they assigned us a room that was different than the room we initially booked. After a few trips down to the reception we finally got the room that we booked. However the cleanliness of the room was not up our usual standards. The carpet in the sitting area was soaking wet, and the room was not dusted or swept in quite a long time. The bathroom was clean and the products offered were more than adequate, so this was a nice touch. We probably wouldn't stay here again given all the other options that are available in Business Bay, and this is due to the fact that our check in process was unsatisfactory and the cleanliness of the room did not meet our expectations.

Avoid the 4 and 5 floors next to club.

My only issue with the hotel is that they put me in Room 519 and at night the club will be going. The speaker system was intense and so I will feel the vibration from the club which kept me up the night until the club was closed. Very annoying.

I always enjoy staying in Dubain in the Business Bay area. This time it was at the Gulf Court Hotel which is close the the Dubai Maill, and all aminities. The hotel is not huge which is a bonus you get around quickly. The staff are supper friendly. I speacial thank you to Ojo for his customer service and for arranging our trip in the desert.

Love the fact that there is everything on the hotel a variety of restaurants to eat from,,, a bar,,, salon and spa, the gym and pool which are all kept clean and sanitized. The hotel rooms are a masterpiece with an amazing view of the canal. Everyone was super friendly, (amazing team there) and could actually feel at home... the hotel surprised us with a cake too 😋 s/o to Junnah she made note of my friend’s birthday... Rooms are sanitized everyday which makes you feel safe in this pandemic

Staff were excellent and lovely, rooms were spacious and clean. Service was excellent. However location for taxi wasn’t great if driver doesn’t know they missed turns and went realy long routes. We also stayed for a business trip for the week and it was ridiculously noisy. Walls were very thin you can hear conversation in the next room, we weren’t aware there was a club on level 4, 4 nights a week. We were on level 15 and the vibrations and the noise was absolutely ridiculous even with ear plugs until 4am. Not the place to stay if going professionally. For club users and party groups it would be fine.

1117 room bathroom so small and difficult to step over bath to get into shower should of asked for another room . The rear entrance of hotel requires a solid path to the canal walk rather than walking through gravel , apart from that it was excellent value and a lovely hotel definetly recomend
