Shower doesn’t drain , water everywhere. Sink water doesn’t go down and the building engineer doesn’t do a thing. Front desk cannot get a new room , had to leave due to defective room and bad service. It’s not an autograph collection hotel. 3 star at best.

Missed a balcony, for the second time in our experience we were left with no hot water to be able to shower after being in the pool. Extremely inconvenient, even after the water had been restored we still had to ring down again to complain.
There are definitely issues with the phone and receiving outside calls.
The pool area is beautiful but always in the shade, which is ok but the water is also far too cold to be of comfort.

We enjoyed a suite at the hotel overlooking the pool and the city. The rooms were very quiet, welcoming, and very clean and comfortable, there was plenty of clean towels and the bed linen was changed regularly. A great location and a great place to stay.

I had stayed at this property previously when it was known as Vida Downtown prior to the current rebrand under the Marriott Bonvoy. I was first told that I had a lovely room with a balcony. The balcony overlooked one of the busiest intersections in Downtown and the noise from 4pm onwards was constant. On the next day, there was construction noise that was occurring right by room. I had assumed these were renovation works, I had to leave my room for a couple of hours to finish my Zoom meetings as the noise was incessant. On the following day, the TV was not working and I was told it was an issue with the data connection. They offered to move to another room but by then it was 10 pm and I was checking out the following day. On the day of checkout the construction noise began prior to 10 am. I decided to leave the hotel and I informed the front desk team to have my room cleaned. I came back and the TV was fixed but the room was not cleaned. I spoke to the duty manager an out what has happened but was told that the construction works are out of the control of the hotel and that it was permitted from 10 am to 6 pm. I had then said that this information should have been shared upon checking-in to give me an option of being in another part of the hotel. All I was then told by the duty manager was that this was the mistake of the front desk staff and that she would look in to it. Terrible experience and will not come back again.

This property is centrally located and convenient to the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall. The hotel is very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable.
We had a very early arrival and the hotel accommodated an earlier check in which was greatly appreciated. I recommend this hotel.

Excellent location downtown Dubai. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Special mention to Terri on reception for her welcoming friendly service. Some improvements taking place at the moment mean that the man with the drill was a bit annoying but hopefully this will finish soon.

Vida has become part of Marriott Autograph collection and is now known has Hotel Boulevard.

It is an excellent hotel (with only one minor issue). The location is superb - walking distance to Dubai Mall, Souk Al Bahar etc. Breakfast buffet is excellent; the staff are wonderful; and the rooms are spacious.

We encountered two irritations though. There was an electric socket on one side of the bed and not another. Overnight charging while having one’s alarm/phone nearby wasn’t possible for one of us. More importantly, the lights in the bathroom are low wattage. Bathroom - especially area around the mirror - is poorly lit making it very difficult to shave, put make up on etc. at the very least, the makeup magnifying mirror should have sufficiently bright lights.

I checked in after 45 minutes waiting in line they had only one person for check in. Once entered the junior suite found out about very loud construction going on next door. Hotel trapped me by not mentioning it and when I complained they said it’s not in our control but we thought we will hide from you. After speaking the manager they moved me to another suite with less sound. But the windows are terrible you can hear every automobile from the main road facing the hotel. 3 star hotel at best.

The service was poor. At times, they do not clear the food rubbish despite it's clearly a rubbish. There was not much toiletries such as toothbrush and toothpaste was not provided. Most of the time they do not greet/welcome us at the entrance. The vacuum used are of bad quality (the suction was no longer strong). Breakfast wise was limited choice. Spending 2 weeks there with the limited choices made us get bored with the food. However, the service from the breakfast team (especially Maribeth & Faizan) was superb. They were friendly, approachable and helpful.

Absolutely perfect hotel for our visit! I will stay here again on my next trip.

The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of downtown. The pool was lovely, so peaceful, I could have stayed on the poolside beds with their delicious food delivered to me for the whole holiday.

Very clean, comfortable, chic, understated and intimate. Excellent service and friendly staff. Didn't want to leave. I will request a room with a view next time!

The location is a 25 minute taxi ride from the airport and a short walk to the main tourist attractions: Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, fountain show, restaurants, etc. The room was very comfortable and the check in staff friendly and the Concierge advice most helpful.

The hotel tried to take payment from my card the day before we arrived without my consent. When we checked in the girl was rude, lacked any knowledge of the local area then when I complained about the attempted charge to my card she rudely informed me that it’s the hotel policy and that I should have accepted it. The room was in a terrible state… dirty curtains and the shades outside the window are full of black mold. I took a shower which was cold and the water dripped out so I could not wash my hair properly. Then when we tried to watch tv the remote does not work properly so you have to press several times. We were moved to a suite where the shower was better but the tv remote still did not work. The room was tired and is in need of updating. The blinds outside were again moldy. The manager informed us that these dark stains were from the rain but in both rooms it was clear to see black mold. I returned to this hotel after staying twice before covid. The standard has declined significantly and the staff are incompetent and rude. We also had an issue with Uber and taxis not knowing where to come as the hotel lobby is not easy to find. We will not return to this hotel.

Was a really great hotel. Liked the staff and the location being in downtown. Only have a few issues. One major issue was the layout of the bathroom. The door had a huge gap so people are able to see you using the restroom. Also the should floor is leveled with the bathroom floor so water was able to go through the door and sometime soak the bathroom floor. Also wished the property had a small store to buy snacks/stuff from. But this is a minor issue. Overall a good hotel, not sure if I would stay again.

The hotel was very clean. The food was good. The front desk service was good. We asked for late check out do to our 15 hours direct flight, they agreed for us to checked our at 2pm. Staying noon they were coming to our room every 15 minutes, so the idea of taking a nap before our long flight went out the window. Very disappointed and will not book this hotel ever again.

I've been staying at the vida since 2018 because of its location first. The team at Vida were very helpful and friendly but lacked training. During my last stay and after an absence of almost 6 months i was pleasently surprised to feel that the team professionalism got better and Daphne from the front office not only was very professional, always smiling but super helpful and attentive to details.
I would highly recommend Vida.

1- No shower towels in the room after checking in
2- TV Services is horrible. Old TV remote doesn't work
3- Restaurant La-Sierra attached to the hotel very expensive and overrated. Em Sherif 5 Min walking much much better
4- Drunk person calling my room at 12:30 AM and knocking my door
5- Guest smoking in non-smoking floors
6- Office chair inside the room is broken

A nice hotel, a bit tired around the edges but in a good location. Good food and the staff were friendly and helpful. The lack of normal TV in the room was annoying, just a smart TV which meant that you need to have an Apple TV or Netflix login to watch anything which was frustrating.
