Expected a lot more. What annoyed me most was the condition of some of the things. The ironing board for example almost ruined some of my clothes. It was my birthday one day, and I wanted to iron a shirt for dinner. I asked for a new ironing board - but it never came.

The room was good but very expensive. The biggest ripoff was the Ewan restaurant buffet. We booked for a la carte but at dinner they suddenly said buffet only. Stupid they didn't tell us the price but also we didn't ask. However $100 cad per person for a crappy mid buffet. Food was avg but not worth the price at all. Tourist trap extroadinanaire. Stay away. The hotel wouldn't do anything about their policies and their lack of explaining things. The service at the restaurant was also poor. It took forever to get our bill. Like I said I do blame myself for staying. Hotel ok otherwise. Just be prepared to spend a lot.

The room was gorgeous, well appointed, clean, and had a nice view. The only issues were that the shower leaked water onto the bathroom floor creating a slipping concern, and the balcony was wonderful with nice furniture but there were a lot of mosquitoes. So we couldn’t use the balcony. All of the house keepers and the rest of the staff did an excellent job! Coffee and patisserie in the lobby was amazing, along with an outstanding buffet breakfast.

Great location & great staff. We checked in was offered an upgrade for $500 Cad & said why not. We go for afternoon sleep to get climatized. Fountain music is load but location this can be tolerated. We get up bedroom sliding doors are stuck 5 minutes eventually we get it opeln. The Burj Khalifa light show and fountain show to 11pm allows you 4 twelve minute windows an hour. Still location trumps this. Next wedding outside our windiw front desk no idea how long offers to move us. Great everyone wants to move hotel rooms at 1030pm on your second night. On checkout I say quite disappointed inn upgraded room I had to change rooms on. Hotel is old patio doors do not close properly si no noise cancelled at all. Very poor wn you see what the originalncharge was. On checjout desk pwrson said he would report to manager & hecwill be in touch. Nothing. Dubai seems to want your money and say goodbye. Very disappointed.

This is a beautiful hotel very well located, just across the lake and within walking distance from the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai mall. We appreciated being able to see the water show in the lake every half hour right from our own private balcony. Check-in and check-out were easy and fast. We were given a complimentary shuttle to the airport, which was greatly appreciated. The only issue we had was the temperature in the room. It was noticeably cold, and the climate control system only cools the room down, it doesn't warm it up. Upon waking up in the morning, I called reception about the temperature, and they kindly sent a plug in radiator to the room, which warmed it up. I wish that I had asked for the radiator to be delivered immediately after checking in. Overall, this is a wonderful hotel in a great location and I recommend it to visitors in Dubai.

There were plenty of excellent restaurant options on-site, offering variety and convenience without ever having to leave the property.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, with thoughtful touches like fresh fruit and snacks waiting for us upon arrival. It really felt like a luxury experience from start to finish.

The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and attentive. One front desk team member stood out—he greeted us with a warm smile, checked us in efficiently, and handled a room delay with genuine courtesy. He offered great advice on visiting the Burj Khalifa while we waited and later gave helpful restaurant recommendations. His kindness and hospitality set the tone for our entire stay.

We highly recommend Palace Downtown and would gladly return. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, service, and style in the heart of Dubai.

The room was extremely noisy throughout the evening. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times before and usually enjoy my visits, but this stay was by far the most disappointing. Loud noises from nearby restaurants continued until around 11 PM, making it difficult to rest. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the noise issue, as it’s affecting the overall guest experience and reputation of the hotel.

This location was nothing if not the perfect vacation spot for exploring Dubai and the mall! There were a ton of food options both in and around the hotel. The pool was relaxing and all staff went above and beyond what I expected. This is the height of service and comfort wrapped into the perfect location. This will be my go-to spot from now on!

We had the pleasure of spending 7 nights at Palace Downtown, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The hotel combines beauty, comfort, and an exceptional location in the heart of Dubai. With direct access to Dubai Mall and a variety of excellent restaurants nearby, it could not have been more convenient. The pool area is absolutely stunning, and with the magnificent Burj Khalifa view, the atmosphere felt almost like staying in a fairytale castle.

We celebrated our honeymoon here, and the staff went above and beyond to make it memorable. Our room was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers, a delicious cake, and seasonal fruits, creating such a warm and thoughtful welcome.

Palace Downtown exceeded all of our expectations, and we look forward to returning. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and truly special stay in Dubai.

We loved everything about our stay, from the beautiful scent the moment you walk in, to the impeccable service. The staff are extremely professional, from the valet to the reception, beach and restaurants.

We enjoyed the food (breakfast and dinner) at their terrace too, despite the heat.

The pool is amazing, super clean and quiet. The drinks were served to perfection.

The property is amazing. It is beautiful and very well equipped for a comfortable stay. The pool is fantastic and very relaxing after the heat of Dubai. I highly recommend staying here. The staff are wonderful from check-in to departure. They were very attentive. The only challenge was on my first day, I had my do not disturb hanger on the door and I received a call from housekeeping which woke me up as I was trying to adjust to the time difference. When I ordered food later that day, housekeeping took that as a sign to also come in and suddenly I had five people in my room all at once when I didn’t want them there. I was also persistently asked for a review to the point that they even brought in a QR code for me to scan. It felt pushy and distasteful for this quality of hotel.

A very beautiful property facing the Burj Khalifa. The mall was within walking distance even in the heat. The fountains out back were under construction which we did not know prior to making reservations but the hotel upgraded us to an incredible suite to make our stay special and memorable. The staff was super kind and helpful for everything from sending out our laundry to coordinating taxis to our destinations.

The hotel was beautiful and the amenities were great. However, when I checked into my room, the bathroom floor was wet and there was hair in the bathtub and on the sink. The shower was also wet, and several amenities—such as soap, a toothbrush, and cotton pads—were missing. I brought this to the attention of the manager, Wassim, and it was resolved within a few hours. Still, the bathroom was not clean upon my arrival, which was disappointing.

I am pretty disappointed with this property. I spent a grip of money to stay at this 5 star resort and I left a Christian Dior shoe at the property in the room. I know exactly where I left it. I tried for 3 days for call the hotel, no answer. My sister even went down to the hotel as I was already out of the country and they were super unhelpful. It's literally an $800 shoe that no one could help me find. I know they found it. I won't be coming back because of the lack of respect for my time or money after I left the property.

From the moment we arrived and our room was available early until we left the service was amazing. We ate at Thiptara and Ewaan and both were fantastic value using the Entertainer voucher . We didn’t have breakfast but instead went to the pool from 9-45 to 11am each morning and had it practically to ourselves. The location is perfect for Dubai mall and we took short taxi rides to the metro rather than the 25 min walk . We will return

Amazing staff all around. And great location was the highlight of our stay.
The room was dated, and cleanliness was questionable for a 5-star hotel.

Room didn’t have a working AC. Repeated calls and visits from maintenance didn’t fix the issue. Hotel moved us to an upgraded room, which we appreciated. And new room looked cleaner too.

The breakfast buffet was mediocre, we only enjoyed the juices but didn’t enjoy any of the available item.

My daughter had allergic reaction (eggs) to one order even though the menu and staff assured us our order was egg-free.

We used three hotels during our trip, and by far this was the lowlight of our trip.
