The staff truly make this paradise exceptional. Maury, Sawnie, Yoann, and Shadae at Uchu Restaurant delivered some of the most attentive and personalized service I’ve ever experienced—each meal felt like a curated moment crafted just for me. Jerome made every beach day effortless and memorable with his kindness and impeccable timing. George, the coconut man, was a whole vibe—fresh coconuts by the Sea is always a great experience.

The golf cart chauffeurs were always patient, friendly, and quick to assist, making every ride smooth and enjoyable. The Cap Juluca spa team offered a level of care and relaxation that left me feeling renewed. Every therapist and staff member ensured the experience was both restorative and luxurious.

The beach is absolutely breathtaking—powdery white sand, crystal-clear water, and an atmosphere so peaceful it feels unreal. My room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and perfectly designed, capturing the essence of Anguilla’s calm and elegance.

From start to finish, Cap Juluca delivered stellar service that exceeded every expectation. The staff’s warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made my birthday and my stay truly unforgettable. Our stay 30 years after our honeymoon did not disappoint. Cap Jaluca is truly paradise. Our room just steps from the beautiful beach could not have been better. The cooler filled with water and the two umbrellas were also appreciated.
The staff at the resort was lovely and helpful always. We enjoyed every second of our 30 year anniversary and we will not wait another 30 years before we return.

with an emphasis on service, Cap Juluca has got this down. Everyone was super nice and concerned about our day, evening and night. All the staff was genuinely interested in us having a good time. The beach was beautiful and the dinner excellent. It is very quiet so depending upon what you are looking for you should know that. It was a different vacation for us as we usually go to busier islands but we were in a mood for a change and some quiet time. We got that. Truly a magnificent place.

I have stayed at many of the ultra high end Caribbean resorts and although many are spectacular, overall this may have been the most beautiful. Perfect beach with gorgeous white sand accentuated by the resorts Moroccan architecture. All facilities were in great condition, lovely rooms all facing the beach, great food and fabulous staff. Everyone was wonderful to deal with, pleasant and attentive. A special thanks to Anthony the general manager who went out of his way to quickly corrected a small problem, to Niquan (not sure of spelling) who was a marvelous waiter and Justin who made sure we lacked nothing while enjoying the pool. Would recommend this property highly.

Nothing short of an amazing stay at The Belmond Cap Juluca. The property itself is just stunning with an amazing beach and sweeping views. Staff were so friendly, helpful welcoming. The hotel went above beyond to make my solo stay memorable. I wish I had more time to explore the grounds but will def be back. Thoroughly enjoyed the availability of the cruiser bikes, walking distance to the Cap Shack and other amenities. Truly a gem.

Perfect milestone birthday celebration

What an perfect choice to celebrate my husband’s milestone birthday!
Our flawless experience started with the email from Elizabeth Cizunas, clearly explaining what we had to do for entry to Anguilla. We had a little bit of difficulty finalizing our application, and Keshana Webster graciously assisted us to get everything done.
Kainesia Richardson and the Host Desk Team were invaluable in planning my husband’s celebration. We loved the private snorkeling tour, particularly swimming up to Sandy Island for a grilled lobster lunch. Dining under the stars that evening was unique. We enjoyed chatting with our host, Justin Time. We also enjoyed seeing Justin at the Cap Shack beach and trying his signature cocktail.
We were met at the Ferry by our courteous and friendly driver. Loved his suggestion of Sharkey’s restaurant. What a fun place!
Our villa host, Claudia, responded so quickly in making reservations and arranging for taxis. Our taxi driver, Myron, was so kind and knowledgeable.
The breakfast buffet was absolutely terrific, what a great selection!
Michael and Eulalie, our beach attendants were great! Loved the treats, sorbets and especially Michael’s cocktails. Pimm’s restaurant was so fun for a special occasion. The entire staff made you feel welcome, whether you were a honeymooners or celebrating a big birthday. If we are so lucky to return, we’ll be very happy.

My husband and I stayed at Cap Juluca Jul 2-4 (a very short getaway from our children) and to say we were sad to leave was an understatement! The property, the views, and the staff make this place somewhere I can not wait to get back to. My cousin had stayed at this property a couple of weeks ago and insisted on connecting us with Marisse who took care of us like we were family- having never met us a day in her life. We encountered issues with processing our Anguillan Entry Certificate and once I let Marisse know what was going on, she did not rest until everything was sorted out. That type of customer service, like I said, before having even met us let me know that we were in for an amazing time.
The property is well-kept and the attention to detail is jaw-dropping. I kept finding something new every time we went up to the front area that just awed me- an interior designer’s dream!! Our room, which was a base-level room was very luxurious and clean…I can’t imagine what the upgraded rooms might look like. The hotel is situated in its own little cove, so things were very quiet and private. Unfortunately, there was a sea in the area so there was a lot of seaweed, but that didn’t stop the show…it was still very beautiful…just like the pictures would have you to believe.

This was our second trip to Cap Juluca. We previously visited the property in 2017. The upgrades to the room sand amenities were noticeable. We loved the place before and loved it again. The staff were exceptional. Everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to help us whenever we needed assistance. Specifically, Derrell, our assigned concierge, was extraordinarily helpful to us. Elisia in the Cip's restaurant was also very friendly and helpful. Lastly, Whitney in the business office, helped us with much of the paperwork required for entry and leaving the island.

We liked the fact that there was a lot of privacy at the beach and the food was good, albeit expensive.The resort is elegant. The staff was very friendly. However, the resort has been reopened only since December and so they need to improve room service and house keeping which is a bit disorganized.

The property is gorgeous and the beach is stunning. Service was very uneven though. We were very surprised to hardly ever see our villa hosts - after booking one tour for us on the first night (without telling us that it would be an $80 RT cab fare, without giving us the name of the tour company, and without indicating that we were expected to pay cash for the tour), they stopped by our beach chairs briefly a few days later, learned that I was sick, and said they would send tea to our room that afternoon. No tea was sent, and we never saw them again. It was very odd. On the first day, we asked for bikes to use but never received them. No snorkeling tour, no help arranging for check-out or transportation back to St. Maarten, and no attempts to help us celebrate our 25th anniversary. A stark contrast to our butler at the St. Regis Maldives last year, but probably not a fair comparison. Housekeeping was also very slow, making up our suite late in the afternoon all week. They also failed to replenish supplies like mouthwash and vanity kits as they were used, which we also found to be strange. Kudos to the beach attendants and the pool attendants though - they were excellent! Like everyone else, we also loved Gene! Despite the uneven service, we did have a very relaxing vacation.

We had an awesome vacation at Cap Juluca. The beach was absolutely beautiful. So much space between you and the people sitting closest to you. Some other great things about the beach are that the non motorized water sports are included , they serve sorbet every day at 3pm and have some awesome floats for the water! I hope they continue this when they reopen.

The breakfast that was included at Blue had a great assortment which included an omlet station. We were very happy with our breakfast every morning.

Most of the staff was wonderful and friendly always saying hello as you pass. Sometimes it would take awhile for the bell hop to come pick you up from your room which can be frustrating at times because they only allow taxis to pick you up at the front door which can be a bit of a walk depending on where your room is. The hotel does not use keys to the rooms which is probably why they don't let taxis pick you up at your room. I hope this will be one of the things they are changing during their remodel of the property.

My only hope is that Belmond brand continue what makes Cap Juluca so unique...which is a more authentic - less corporate hotel feel that so many big chains feel like now. Loved our stay!

“Wonderful stay”
We had a wonderful stay at Cap Jaluca. The reasons were many but the most important was the beach. This is the most beautiful and uncrowned beach with the softest sand on Anguilla. We rented a car because it was our first time on the island and we wanted to visit other beaches. We went Shoal Bay East, Rendezvous Bay, and Meads Bay where many of the other hotels are. All are nice beaches but they are lined with hotels and restaurants that rent chairs to day trippers so if you stay there you are with with lots of other people. Cap Jaluca is the only resort on Maunday's beach. At Cap Jaluca you are given your own private little spot on this gorgeous, uncrowned beach and your chairs are lined with towels, you have a umbrella to keep you shaded , you have your own little cooler with bottled water provided and at three o'clock they bring a little serving of sherbet to you.

Our room was lovely, clean and steps to the beach. It had a private patio with loungers and a table and chairs. The staff was friendly and helpful.The concierge got us great, beach front table reservations at the restaurants. A wonderful breakfast with an omelette station and lots of food choices is free. We ate at Pimms the first night and Spice after a nice manager's cocktail party and enjoyed both I would highly recommend renting a car to try other restaurants. It's actually less expensive than taking a taxi to some further away restaurants.

Beautiful hotel on one of the best beaches in Anguilla (Maundays Bay). Very welcoming staff, very friendly throughout the entire stay. The views of the beach / ocean are stunning, and the shower with access to private outdoor area is an added bonus! Fantastic breakfast included every morning at the on-site restaurant, Blue. Beach attendant provides towels, cold water, and sorbet in the afternoon. Non-motor water sports are also included. I highly recommend and would go back again and stay at Cap Juluca for sure.

Amazing vacation in paradise!!

This resort and beach were absolutely amazing!! We were pampered from the moment we arrived to the moment we left for the airport. The staff was amazing and truly cared about making sure our stay was everything we dreamed it would be....from our rum punches and upgraded room at arrival to making sure our beach chairs were set up every morning with our cooler of water to bringing us our cold towels mid morning to the delicious sorbet every afternoon. It was truly a paradise!

Can't beat the location and the fact that you are staying in a room exactly on the beach. Steps away from the sand and blue water. Friendly staff, very convenient. Food could be better but not bad. Also there are plenty of Shacks nearby notably Smokies. I recommend this over any other resort.

My husband and I stayed at Cap Juluca on our honeymoon in Nov. 2015. We had a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. We were giving a room upgrade upon check in and there was a bottle of champagne in the room to welcome us. We stayed for 10 days and plan to return on anniversaries in the future. It is truly a beautiful hotel. The beach and the views are exceptional and the rooms, while simple, were very comfortable. We were so relaxed and happy the whole time!

We came here on our first stop during our honeymoon, and it was the best hotel of the 3 we stayed at (the other 2 were Tom Beach in St. Barth and the Rosewood Little Dix Bay in Virgin Gorda). Cap Juluca is _beautiful_. It's charming in a way that the Viceroy and other more modern properties aren't, with more privacy, more personalized and attentive service, and an old world feel. And then the beach! The beach is as good as the pictures show, if not better -- photos can't do justice to how soft the sand is.

Beautiful venue- very excellent staff!

Lovely venue in a protected bay without any other properties-- Private but somewhat spread out. You really need a car at this venue. The staff is amazing- many of them have worked there for decades. Always friendly and genuinely concerned about your experience. Air conditioned but the louvered wooden blinds make for a leaky system design. Bed was very comfortable and we found ourselves sleeping in well past our usual time. Breakfast was really good but the food at the 3 restaurants was very expensive. The grocery store was a short distance by car. Anguilla is a jewel of an island- relatively non-touristy if that is possible. No chain restaurants but local food is very good. We also had the supreme joy of worshiping with the locals at the Church of God Holiness -Pastor Phillip Gumbs- a truly unique experience. The people of Anguilla are genuine and warm in the sharing of their beautiful island.
