This hotel is in an excellent location and our room was large and comfortable. The supermarket on the ground floor had everything you could want but the coffee shop wasn't well stocked. Parking was easy and the security guards were helpful.
That said, we were there for 6 days and our room was never cleaned, despite asking twice to have it cleaned.
What was once nice furniture is not being kept up, two of our lights were not plugged in and had nowhere to be plugged in.
There was no explanation as to how to work the TV and we had to request a hair dryer, extra toilet paper, and clean towels.
The staff were nice enough but not helpful. The pool was closed for the beginning of our stay and the hot tubs were set to cool.
The working elevator was cranky. We felt that the once lovely place could use a facelift and some ore helpful staff.
That said, we were there for 6 days and our room was never cleaned, despite asking twice to have it cleaned.

The location of the commodore is very good. Right in the heart of surrounding activities with a short walk or drive to the nearest beach. The hallway to the side where the washer and dryer is kept could have been kept more tidyer, as well as where the pools and workout areas are. The staff was amazing.

There was a hole in the wall behind the bathroom door. A lizard was in my bathroom and front desk ignored my 7:00 am and 9:00 am request for help. Finally sent over the maintenance guy that evening about 5:30 pm after another request and he did nothing but put regular tape over the hole. The sea view room was not really sea view because it was highly obstructed with trees. There were two cracks through which you could see the waters. Unacceptable! The free breakfast is left sitting out uncovered all morning in a high traffic area inside the supermarket. Very unhealthy and unsafe.

The room was not clean, the toilet wouldn’t flush properly, the hot water was very finicky, the hotel staff were not knowledgeable at all, the “pool” looked dirty and looked nothing like the pictures online and the “gym” was nonexistent! I don’t recommend staying here at all!

Initially, I picked this hotel for the price and assumption that there was gonna be breakfast that I paid for attached to this, but I found out when I got there that this place does not serve breakfast. Market garden, the grocery store below the hotel do their own breakfast, but it’s not charged or shared or managed by the hotel. The false advertisement the Expedia has put on this app is disappointed as I will fight to get my money back for the $10 or whatever money I paid per day for this breakfast. Other than that, the rooms is pretty good. King size bed is comfortable, but they put flat sheets back could easily be pulled off the mattress. My favorite part of the hotel though is the bathroom as they have a waterfall shower that’s on clay and stone. The thermostat in the room works very well that they can get very hot or very cold.. I did not use the hotel shuttle to get to and from the airport to the hotel, but I believe they have one available that is free of charge. In case anybody needs to be picked up most of the workers at the hotel seemed friendly enough to do their job. The friendliest is the security guards and they’re also helpful as well.

When we arrived at the hotel (Commodore Suites, Simpson Bay) we were told that we had no reservation despite the fact that we had a written confirmation that we had paid for a room with two beds for January 1 - Jan 2. The hotel was able to provide a room with one bed that was not as nice as the one we booked if this picture is anything like what we would have had. It is hard to know where the fault lies in this situation.

We cleaned and seasoned are meat that afternoon but when we started to grill that evening the gas tanks were empty. We immediately reported this to the front desk thinking that they must have other tanks since we had set this up six days prior. The manager was notified by phone, but nothing they could do because it's getting late. Finally, the front desk clerk Lereisha came into action. She had her father come get the tank to get it filled at 9PM and he saved the celebration night. It was six of us planning to eat from the cookout. Lereisha showed how what customer service should be and stepped up to the plate, Thank you so much.

My only problem was that the light from outside (the back of the hotel) was coming in from the top of the curtains. I cannot sleep in a bright room. Otherwise to that, the room was to my liking.

I’d like to start this review by saying Ariel, the receptionist is amazing. Kind, welcoming and helpful. I booked my stay as a result of my flight cancellation. Hurricane Erin was within the vicinity and no flights were leaving. Commodore Suites is close to the airport, located above a well stocked grocery and all the popular restaurants. It is not a fancy hotel but provided what I needed in the circumstances.

The property location is excellent.. it's within walking distance to a majority of the areas night time hot spots, which is very convenient because parking is so hard to find if you are going to Nowhere Special, Lotus nightclub, or Captain Rib Shack to name a few in the vicinity. On-site parking is free. My studio suite was a great size. King bed was large enough to roll around twice without falling off. I had no ambitions of using the rooftop jacuzzi at first, but things change, caught myself smiling smoking cigars with the water bubbling up! The staff 100% authentic, no fake love. All smiles and offers recommendations and solutions. I decided to get a rental car when i arrived at my suite the first day. The manager on duty (Arella) went out he way called a few rental companies to get the best rate for my 8 day stay.. No hesitation, no \"do it yourself\" attitude, straight love! Shout out to World Boss Car Rental, great deal!! ( 8 days? Muah). Anyway, It doesn't hurt that the on-site supermarket downstairs offers buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner (i didnt have dinner, but breakfast is important!) So many other perks, but this getting too long-winded so i'm going to stop! 8 day stay felt like my first luxury apartment in NYC... I'm done!

The property is very nice so is the staff. The room was clean and cozy. The kitchen was nice the only thing is that I wish the window opened. With a kitchen and someone that likes to cook and bake I would say they need a better ventilation system. All the smell of the food stays in the room and stays on your clothes, but other than that I would recommend staying here I give it a 8/10.

This property was in a good easly walkable with tons of dinning options a handy store in the bottom kitchen is poorly equipment only got clean towels oncebin six days and no daily coffee in the room and the pool is a tiny plunge tank oys not a pool that you can sit around swimming all day which was I disappointment

We booked a room with mountain view and the only view we had was towards a large air conditioner unit and the parking lot behind the hotel. The room had a moody smell and windows are not opening, before the receptionist gave us the key she sprayed air freshener in a large quantity to mask the smell.

Room - curtains falling down, no toaster, dish cloths, lamps very dusty. Asked for hair dryer and got one. Asked for access to safe and were given a key (safe was mounted onto the floor)
Room was quiet. Pillows very hard. Although cleaners were good and willing - we would have loved to have a broom and dustpan to clean up the sand we tracked in.

Room - curtains falling down, no toaster, dish cloths, lamps very dusty. Asked for hair dryer and got one. Asked for access to safe and were given a key (safe was mounted onto the floor)
Room was quiet. Pillows very hard. Although cleaners were good and willing - we would have loved to have a broom and dustpan to clean up the sand we tracked in.
