What a charming property in Simpson Bay. My wife and I stayed for three nights and our room was immaculately cleaned by Christena and fresh towels were offered whenever asked for. Close to restaurants, beaches and the marina you couldn’t ask for a better location. Our terrace room overlooked the town and the ocean and the breezes were beautiful. We had a great lunch on our terrace one sunny day with a bottle of wine and some local food from the market conveniently located nearby. Great island vibes all around. Latoya, the front desk administrator and Alexia, who also worked at the front desk were both incredibly helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back. A true gem in the heart of Simpson Bay. Thank you to the three of you for making our stay so pleasant. Hope to see you soon.

The room had all the amenities you would need and the place was cleaned daily. The hotel is very near the beach, under 5 minute walk! The beach was beautiful! Its also near the airport so you see all the planes take off ( if you're a plane fanatic like me)! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here!

Great location near beach and restaurants. The rooms on the 3rd floor open to a large terrace, each with their own chairs and table. Views of the ocean are limited due to shrubbery growth. Beds are comfortable, towels were thin. Staff friendly and helpful and although they couldn't provide a later check out to accommodate our later flight, they happily stored our luggage in their office.

Bakers is a cute boutique hotel. It’s in a very convenient location in Simpson Bay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. My only issue is that there weren’t screens on the doors and as a result, it was a constant battle with mosquitoes in our room.

My wife and I had an awesome time in St. Maarten and much of that is due to the awesome staff at Baker’s Suite. Specifically Latoya at the front desk was incredibly helpful from recommending local restaurants to coordinating taxis that take cash or card when we were in a bind. The room was also spotless and very nice with a lot of space - we are thankful for Jocelyn who ensured the room was in great condition each day. Overall, we had a great experience!

This hotel in Simpson Bay is very well located with eating establishments, shops and beach within walking distance. Had a great room with 4 balconies. Room was very nice & clean. Great housekeeping staff, Christina & Joy, made sure of that and they were very friendly. Also at the reception Shanay & Alexia were very friendly and helpful.This hotel has no pool and there was no breakfast included; but since everything was within (walking) distance, that was not an issue for me. Would recommend this hotel to a friend.

Just came back from a 5 day stay and it was just what was needed. The property was conveniently located near several restaurants and a few feet away from the beach. The only drawback was the elevator being out of service, but the great customer service made up for it. Latoya was absolutely amazing and accommodated all of the requests and inquires that I had during my stay. She connected me to a taxi driver (Mr. Benoit) when needed. Provided me with information on where to eat and also what to do. I can’t say enough good things about her and the hotel as a whole. For my first time in SXM it was great and I can’t wait to go back.

Short and enjoyable vacation in SXM
My son and I had a fantastic stay at Baker's Suite. It felt like a home away from home. I particularly loved where there was a small clean kitchenette with pots, plates, cups and cutlery for cooking dishes. The most important was the exemplary customer service received from receptionist Latoya! This place is a stroll from a nice cafe for breakfast opposite Buccaneers' restaurant and there is Green House Restaurant. What would have made this stay undisputedly the best would be a working elevator, as it was a bit exhaustive to climb two flights of stairs every time multiple times per day. Once that is up and running then everything would be perfect for future traveler's stay.

I enjoyed my stay!! Everyone I encountered was very attentive. Latoya at check-in was very sweet and helpful. There was another lady at the front desk, but I didn’t catch her name, she was also very polite and helpful.. She was also very helpful. Christina, the housekeeper was a sweetheart. The only thing that keeps me from giving this property a full 10 is the bed is hard. But the area is nice and walkable and the restaurants across the street have good food. I would definitely stay again and advise others to stay, especially if you want to feel apart of Saint Martin and not just there in a resort.

My front desk ladies, Ms. Latoya you were AWESOME our entire time there and you represent Baker’s Suites on another level. Ms. Shanay, your kindness towards each and every guest was nothing short of impeccable customer service. We stayed in the partial oceanview room with King bed and the room did not disappoint. Restaurants in short walking distance of the hotel, beach right across the street which I enjoyed the clear calm waters every single morning of my trip(no crowds).

The location is super good, you have a beach less that 50 m away. I recommend renting a car so you can go to other beaches and meet the both parts of the island. Latoya was amazing at the front desk and the housekeeper too. The rooms are big and you even have a kitchen. There is a little market next the hotel and a lot of restaurants that you can walk and also go in car.

This is a hotel not a resort, but it is a fantastic hotel ! It is exceptionally clean, has designated parking on site, and is close to beach (just across street. ) The picture of the beach with this add is of the public access across the street from a fantastic Beach Bar called the Buccaneer Beach Bar. This hotel is not on the beach but just across the street from the beach. We had a partial beach view room with a balcony. This room was basic but had everything we needed (fridge, microwave, utensils pots, plates etc). The staff were exceptional and the hotel was very clean. Thanks to our cleaning lady, Christina R who was very attentive to what we needed. The bed was comfortable. Would definitely come back to this hotel, as we liked being close to beach, restaurants, grocery store and loved how clean it was.

Large frig and eating table was appreciated. Small boutique hotel that made it easy to step out quickly to restaurants and shopping. Small mini mart next door, with larger supermarket just up the street between Burger King and a casino. Across the street from the larger market is a pharmacy and medical offices. I did water tours from Aqua Mania and 62 Welfare Rd Billy Bones Marina, all within a 7 minute walk. So walkable, no car was needed. Taxi service easy to get, but I only used for airport. Activities in Simpson’s Bay are limited to water sports and beach lolling, but transportation is readily available to go further afield.
