It is great location and nice property. Staff are so rude and annoying. Very late check in which is not fair because all flight comes around 11:30 am to 1:00pm. So basically check in time is 4 clock and you don’t get room before time. Which is horrible

Beautiful day place right on the water. Even the views of the city are pretty- there’s literally no bad view! And you can walk down to the beach or food. It’s very convenient to everything. Walkable on the Dutch side. And the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I had to change rooms twice on arrival, one day the room was not cleaned and I had to contact management to have the matter resolved. There was a problem with a leaking air condition unit, with water ponding inside the room.
The ceiling fan was noisy so could not be used.
The refrigerator’s ice machine was not hooked up to any water source.
There is only one functioning elevator for the 9 floors, my room was on the 8th floor so the wait for service was always long.
There are limited rooms with a beach view.

All the staff here are amazing! So kind and helpful. We had an issue with the room assigned to us so we had to go back down to the check in to advise them of the issue (we weren’t complaining or asking for anything, but they immediately upgraded us!). If you stay here, definitely try and get an ocean front view. The views are lovely, the beach is right there! All rooms are equipped with a full kitchen, which we made use of as there are a few nearby grocery stores where you can get food/snacks etc.

The staff provided us with helpful tips/places to go, and about the bus routes.

There is a small pool, but since the beach is literally at your feet, it’s not an issue. Designated beach chairs/umbrellas for our hotel meant we never had to search for them. We never had issues with getting one when we wanted.

Multiple restaurants/bars are in walking distance. The bus stops a short walk away.

A great location with great staff!

Rating is based on the fact that the Expedia photos do not accurately represent the room we received. Our room was clean but quite worn with peeling wood on cabinets and doors, very worn and faded upholstery, no sofa or lounge chairs on the balcony. However, the room had what was needed. Front desk and restaurant staff was kind and friendly. The beach chair attendant didnt want to unlock chairs for guests. He said once he did it for one couple, there would be more. We watched him turn away 4 couples.

We were truly impressed with our stay at the Atrium. Although the property isn’t modern, that was exactly its charm—we chose it for its authentic island feel, and it delivered perfectly. Our suite was exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable. The full kitchen, equipped with updated appliances and stocked with everything a family might need, made it easy to prepare breakfast for the kids or reheat leftovers. While we didn’t use the TV, it was a nice option to have.
One of the highlights was the private porch, where we could relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy beautiful ocean views—moments that made our stay especially memorable. The property itself offers something for everyone, with a pool suitable for both children and adults. Our kids loved it, and the beach was just a short walk away. Having reserved seating and an umbrella there was a wonderful perk not commonly found elsewhere.
What truly set this experience apart, however, was the staff. Every interaction was warm and welcoming. Ms. Aaliyah made a fantastic first impression—she ensured we felt at home, checked in on our needs as a family with young children, and offered helpful recommendations for dining and activities. The security staff was equally kind and shared great local tips.
Overall, our experience was outstanding, and we would highly recommend the Atrium

The rooms was not that clean. The floors weren't mop. Our children socks were black from dirty floor. Otherwise the staff was friendly and the beach was pretty with the convenience of beach chairs and umbrellas.

Happy to leave a positive review of this property. Whilst it has clearly been around for some time. A decent attempt at upgrades is evident especially in the rather spacious rooms.
Many new appliances were evident which made those not replaced stick out even more.
No issues with water pressure or temperature. There were no issues with internet or TV and the air conditioning worked perfectly.
There is grill opposite called Lees and 5 minutes walk towards the main road is a large supermarket and a fast food spot. Traffic noise isn't an issue but if planes bother you their sounds end usualy by 7pm. There are 2 elevators but given the aged look of the \"out of order\" sign on one of them.... well.

Beach has a drop off with soft sand, hard to get in and out of. Pool needs steps into deeper section changed to 4 steps instead of 3 tall steps. Hard for older people to use pool. Also needs a handrail that actually helps you out of the pool. Tiles are also coming off pool is some places and perimeter grate is damaged in some places.
Shower head needs to be replaced. Water comes out of top, sides and not actually directed on you. Towel bars are falling off the wall. Outlet in kitchen has a burnt look and needs replacing. Gardens are pretty but palm trees are overgrown and block ocean views and need to be trimmed. Only one of the two elevators were operational.

Pro: Great kind friendly staff. Great location within walking distance to 20+ great restaurants.

Very clean room right on the beach. My 4th visit. Room was kept clean. Pool not so clean. Staff this time around not friendly at all . They changed the rules on how beach towels are handed out and it wasn’t explained to us until our last night by the only friendly staff member there . Was really disappointed in unfriendly staff we had never run into that issue before . Groceries near by and most places in walking distance . Really bad traffic on the strip at all times .

It was a quick book and check in was smoothly. The gave me fresh towels and wash rags everyday. Cleanliness of the room was 3/10 the sheets had stains on them also the curtains. The fridge was making animal like noises every 15mins. It was just a room for sleeping I couldn’t really get comfortable. The location is AMAZING!!! It’s right next to everything I walked to most of my reservations.

The Atrium is a nice hotel and a great location. It's a 30 second walk to the beach from their pool area. The beach is supplied with blue chairs and umbrellas for the Atrium. Theres multiple restaurants that area just a sgort walk away from the Atrium.
The rooms are clean, comfortable and all have a nice balcony.

You can either take a taxi to get around or use the Bus and bus stop is located across from the burger king just down the street.

We had a wonderful stay here. Our corner room had two balconies, which was wonderful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We were on the street side, which had a little bit of noise from the bar restaurant across the street but nothing that was too bad.

The pool is in a rather peculiar place since it sits at the edge of a restaurant next to the hotel, but the beach is lovely with beach chairs, and umbrellas provided.

Great location for walking to several restaurants and a lovely French bakery for breakfast/snacks.

Easy to get to either Phillipsburg by taxi or the French side and very close to the airport.

The only con was the hairdryer. It would’ve taken me our entire vacation to dry my thick hair.

There were a few things that needed fixing or updating, eg main tv and phone not working, fridge leaking, stove occasionally wouldn’t turn on. But overall a great choice to accommodate three families. Always chairs available by the pool and staff on beach would get a chair and umbrella.

Location is everything when traveling and the Atrium is ideally located steps from the beach, walking distance to food shopping and about 30 restaurants, close to a pier for sailing and day trip excursions, and across the street from a car rental agency if you want a car for a day or two.
The staff of Dawn, Sonia, Aleyah, and Camille are wonderful and take care of anything you might need such as calling a taxi, beach towels, anything you want in your room, and suggestions for restaurants and day trips.
Martin, on the beach, will set you up daily with any configuration of beach chairs and umbrellas you want and there is a newly refurbished pool on the way to the beach.
For those not wanting to venture too far to eat, there are two bar/restaurants right at the beach and pool that offer happy hours, good food, and entertainment.
The rooms are clean, spacious, and newly refurbished. We had an oceanfront one bedroom unit with wonderful views of Simpson Bay and the lagoon from our spacious balcony where you can relax in loungers or sit at a table and have your morning cup of coffee or dinner to watch the sunset. WE had a full kitchen and living area with flat screen TV's in the living area and large bedroom equipped with a safe. Plenty of closet and drawer space and even an ironing board and iron. The bathrooms were remodeled a couple of years ago and the maids provide towel service daily.
We've been coming here for almost 30 years and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Lovely hotel with very spacious rooms. The beach is beautiful, and the beach staff are incredible—always quick and efficient with umbrellas and loungers; I never had to wait a minute! Check-in was fast and smooth. But I arrived around 6 PM due to heavy traffic from the airport. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk to the bus stop, making it easy to reach Philipsburg or Marigot only for $2 . The drivers are very friendly, and the local people are always ready to give helpful advice, sightseeing tips, and other recommendations. Highly recommend for a relaxing and convenient stay!

Our first time in St. Martin and was so happy with staying here. It was clean and didn't feel like a hotel. Everyone was helpful that we met! We were there for 5 days. Kitchen was clean and so were all the dishes that were provided for us. I had brought dishwasher pods from home but found dishwasher detergent there so we just used what was provided. It was really nice. Beach was clean and although we didn't use the pool, that whole area seemed maintained and clean as well.
Definitely will be recommending this place to anyone we know traveling there and probably will stay here again if we decide to come back!!

Martin, the security guard and beach helper was amazing and always attentive and willing to help when asked. I noticed he works from early morning to late at night to make our days safe and enjoyable. The desk manager was amazing with always answering all our questions as well as the ladies at the desk. Rooms need to be updated; our icemaker didn’t work and was told we could go down 4 floors to basement to get ice..not! Our dirty rusty coffeemaker didn’t work til I insisted on new a new one right out of the box and our tv needed to be replaced..all upon an hour of our arrival.

Pool was cold and small. Staff very nice and front desk. One negative was the hit or miss for Sun chairs on beach. One day we couldn’t find anyone to help us to chairs and I do think he saw us. We sat on our towels. But the next day we did get help from an older employee for chairs. All in all we would not stay here again.

Le condo 2 chambres était spacieux et très propre ! Décoration vieillotte, mais sinon tout était très bien entretenu. Agréable séjour sur la plage avec tout à portée de main. Demandez ocean front, car avec expedia je ne me rappelle pas que nous avions l'option lorsque j'ai réservé. Si vous ne la sélectionnez pas lors de la réservation, vous serez vue derrière sur les montagnes.

Best: great comfortable room serviced daily with friendly non-intrusive staff. Next the the Green restaurant that was very good which also included a clean swimming pool and chairs. The pool leads a short distance to a beach with chairs/umbrella. It is a warm gentle beach. It’s near aqua sports where you can sign up for boat trips if you want. WiFi is spotty but if you ask front desk nicely to restart its router, it’s better for a while (I’m not a tech person but learned that from another person here.
