Was so good in February, I had to come back for carnival!!! Many food choices and a grocery store in waking distance. The staff are helpful and friendly so check your own energy first to keep the vibes up. Speaking of vibes, the pool vibes are just what you're looking for; aestetically awesome, food was delicious for breakfast and lunch and Nico!!!! I really enjoyed the bingo and blackjack vibes. Such a great time all around so I'll definitely be back as soon as I can.

The Morgan is a low end, scammy hotel. When we arrived we were told the room was not available and were not able to check in until 6pm, at which point we were told the room we had booked was not available. We were told we would have to move to a smaller room for one night until our original room became available. After asking to speak to a manager, they 'kindly' offered to refund the difference, nothing else for the late check in, the incovenience of moving, or the fact we were in a room we did not choose to be in. The following day, when we were supposed to move rooms, our room was still not available but we were told we had to be out of the current room we were in and to store our bags in the lobby until it was available. We had to do all this ourselves, no help was offered by the staff. When we complained to the manager, he said the best he could do was refund the difference in the room which was $450, but checked my account after the visit and of course they had not refunded the amount so now I have to take it up. Generally the staff was pretty rude and any issues you had were an imposition. We had one member of our group that came back to his room in the evening to find the room was locked and was told by the front desk to 'go sleep in one of your friends room'. Another had no AC for the whole trip, and another came back to the hotel one night and his door was wide open. Don't stay here. Its an unprofessional scammy place, any other hotel is better value.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Morgan Resort & Spa. The resort is beautiful, modern, spotless, and truly luxurious. The pool area is especially amazing, with gorgeous views and such a relaxing atmosphere.
A special thank you to Nyell at check-in, who truly made our stay extra special with such a warm and welcoming attitude. Luke from driving services was also incredibly kind and professional. Everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive, and amazing.
We loved everything about our stay and certainly will be back! Highly recommend this beautiful resort to anyone visiting St. Maarten.

The morgan was amazing let's start with staff, we were welcomed with rum punch upon arrival, allowed early check-in rooms were clean and so was all facilities, the gym was clean with updated equipment.the food/ drinks was ok, the hotel is 5 minutes from the airport, the hotel offers transportation to and from . The rooms over look the pool and clear blue ocean, highly recommend 😀

Poolside chairs and amenities were very nice, very nice view. Great location. It's the small things that didn't make it a 4 or 5 star. Staff was mediocre - front desk check in not so friendly, The wifi was terrible in room, our A/C setting didn't work and they made it our responsibility to followup with maintenance, cleaning staff didn't fill up toiletries, and even when proctively asked for later check out, said had to check the day of and then said our room was given out.

This place has all the potential to be a 5-star … and we really enjoyed our stay but a few small problems left me wishing for a little more.

The pool and setting are 10/10 beautiful and clean. We spent 2 full days by the pool, enjoying the afternoon DJ and the oceanfront setting.

Most of the staff were friendly, some were not. That was an adjustment … some staff just seemed uninterested, while others were a joy to interact with.

The live entertainment at SALT - all the performers were very mellow but they were quality singers and musicians.

We were in a junior suite - spacious, beautiful balcony.

Problems: 2 of 4 nights the air conditioning stopped working completely, for many hours. Very muggy and uncomfortable to wake up to at 4am.

They missed the mark on little details. A tray of dirty dishes and food sat in the hallway for the entire 4 days we were there.

Front desk staff was rude the women. Servers the women showed more attention and good attitude towards ppl of the white race when ppl of the black race money spends just as well as theirs. The salt restaurant manager was excellent. Give this place 3/10 I won’t be coming back thanks for the experience.

The Morgan hotel is beautiful boutique style hotel with friendly and helpful staff. I was satisfied with my stay there. My favorite part was the beautiful clear blue pool area overlooking the ocean. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and there are other restaurants and activities within walking distance from the hotel, such as maho beach and nearby restaurants.

we enjoyed our stay at the morgan. the staff was friendly and accommodating. anytime we needed a taxi, they would arrange for one within a few minutes. the pool side service was good, we enjoyed our veg impossible burgers and the bbq chicken. the drinks at the bar were consistently good. loved the espresso martinis.
on our last day getting onto the airport shuttle, getting help with our luggages was much appreciated.
i was apprehensive after i read a few negative reviews prior to coming here but it was a great time. we stayed in a 2 queen ocean view room with nice views. had a nice vacation with family =)

The hotel itself is in great condition and looks well maintained, which makes the experience even more disappointing.

Unfortunately, the service is on the level of a hostel rather than a proper hotel. The staff give the impression that they’re doing you a favor instead of simply doing their job, which makes interactions frustrating.

Room service is practically nonexistent. Our room was cleaned, but no fresh shampoo or shower gel was provided. After calling four times with no result, I had to go and pick it up myself.

I also asked to speak with a manager and am still waiting for a callback — which honestly says everything about how things are handled here.

Overall, the service is brutally bad and completely undermines what could have been a good stay.

I recently stayed at The Morgan Resort & Spa and had an amazing experience overall. From the moment we landed, everything felt seamless—the shuttle was waiting within minutes at the airport, which instantly set the tone for a stress-free and enjoyable stay.

What truly made this trip special was the exceptional service. The entire staff made us feel right at home from day one. Special shoutout to Devin (shuttle), Amina and Trinity (front desk), Carlos (bell hop), Mariame and Kennesha (pool waitresses), Omar (pool server), Maarten (pool bartender), McKenley (restaurant server), and Ash (Guy Ash)—every single one of them was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. The front desk team was especially helpful with recommendations, which made exploring the island even better.

The pool area was a highlight—the bar was lively, the drinks were great, and the poolside service was consistently excellent. The food at the restaurant was also surprisingly amazing and exceeded expectations.

While I enjoyed my stay, a few areas fell short. The gym was quite small, and the public restrooms could have been better maintained and stocked. For the price point, I expected more amenities typical of a luxury resort. Overall, I’d rate the facilities closer to a 3.5–4 star experience.

That said, what the resort may lack in amenities, it more than makes up for in top-tier customer service. The warmth and hospitality of the staff truly elevated the entire experience.

I had a wonderful stay at the Morgan Resort in St. Maarten and would absolutely return. The hotel itself is beautiful, with well-maintained amenities that made the entire experience feel relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish.

One of the highlights for me was the food—especially breakfast. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start each day. The pool area also deserves a special mention. It has such a great vibe—perfectly relaxing while still offering a bit of energy and fun. One afternoon, we even joined a game of bingo by the pool, which was a nice touch and added to the overall experience.

If I had one small critique—and I say this lightly—it would be the pool service. It was a bit slow, and there were a few mix-ups with orders. That said, it was easy enough to walk up to the bar and order directly, which ended up being quicker and just as enjoyable.

Overall, a fantastic stay with great food, a beautiful atmosphere, and memorable moments. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting St. Maarten!

A special thank you to Carlo and the front desk staff, who provided excellent service throughout my stay. They were always attentive, professional, and eager to help with any request, making the check-in process smooth and ensuring I had everything I needed.

The overall atmosphere of the resort was relaxing and well-maintained, and it was clear that guest satisfaction is a top priority here. It’s rare to find such consistently warm and genuine hospitality, and it made a lasting impression on me.
