Location! Little Bay is great/beautiful beach. Good pools, restaurants and over all feel. Good for families. Room was fine (nothing special) but you’re paying for the view/location. Biggest complaint was that it’s notably understaffed, creating long wait times (pizza stand and bar in particular) and making staff seem annoyed or indifferent. Quick ride to Philipsburg and not bad to /from airport and others parts of the island (never/barely had to wait at cab stand).

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The property was clean and well maintained, and my room had a beautiful view overlooking the harbor. The room itself was spacious, and I especially loved the large porch where I could relax and enjoy the scenery. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience, and I would definitely stay there again.

I want to start off by saying the hotel was huge and lots of restaurants to go. The beach was beautiful and the chairs were great as well. The only person that was on top off her job was the front desk short girl, everyone else USELESS. The front desk NEVER answers the phone in the case of a problem. No housekeeping UNLESS begged for. 0/10 DO NOT recommend. Save your $, take yourself elsewhere.

Room was clean, but we had problems with mosquitos in the room. Our porch had a wonderful view and we spent time out there for breakfast and in the evenings. The pools were great, but needed some work. The whole location is very pretty. We enjoyed being served at the pool. The bed in our room was not very good, but the room was big with a giant bathroom. The dood at the resort was a little pricey, but always tasted wonderful.

Our stay at this hotel was incredibly frustrating from start to finish due to poor communication, rude staff, and constant inconvenience.
When we arrived, the front desk told us our room would “take a while” to be ready, but no one clearly explained that we wouldn’t actually get our room until 4 PM. Instead, they kept making us wait for nearly three hours, and every time we asked for an update, they would just say, “Let me check,” without giving us a real answer. No one suggested we come back later or do something else—they just left us waiting with attitude every time we asked for help.

What made it worse was that every guest who arrived after us was given a room before we were. Watching everyone else get checked in while we kept being told to wait made us feel like we were being treated differently, especially because we booked differently than others. It honestly felt discriminatory.

When we finally got our room after 4 PM, it was the wrong one. We had specifically requested and confirmed a room with two beds, but instead we were given a room with only one bed. When we went back to the front desk, they told us our correct room “would be ready tomorrow” and that we could just switch then. Their only solution was offering breakfast the next morning as compensation.

The next day, we had to go through even more inconvenience because we couldn’t move into the correct room until 4 PM again. That meant we had to pack everything up, check out of the first room, wait around all

I would love to give 5 stars, the resort was nice, clean for the most part and food was good except for at The Mix, which we had to pay an extra $45 per person for as it was not included in our AI package.
The resort as a whole was very short staffed which caused all staff to be over worked and most not so friendly. Most staff members never smiled when approached whether it be at checkin or front desk in general, or at all restaurants and bars. There were a few exceptions where certain staff members were very friendly and always took care of us and that was only a few at the Pure Ocean restaurant.

We stayed there a week and our room got cleaned/ serviced only two times. We had to chase staff for clean towels for our room. The front desk staff were rude when were asked questions about simple things like where to drop the old pool towels and pick up new ones. Other than that the resort was nice but they ned to do a better job on costumer service

Room was clean with a beautiful view of the bay. Pools were awesome!! Pool bar was very convenient for getting drinks. Lots of umbrellas and cabanas to sit under. Beach was awesome. Nice long beach so always a spot to sit. The activities director, Tony is a gem!!! He made our trip go from great to fabulous. We tried to do everything he was running - pool aerobics, bingo, horse racing (we won $30), DJ dance party, ping pong, corn hole competition, yoga, water balloon toss, cheese tasting, etc. Live entertainment every night. Some really good bands!! Food and drinks were very good - especially loved the pizza. Don’t forget to check out the pool at the top of the property that looks out right over the ocean. We kayaked and snorkeled! I recommend doing the all inclusive. My favorite thing was snorkeling the underwater statues. You can swim out right from the beach to the snorkel site. Went into Philipsburg for some great shopping. Only 10-15 minute drive. Would definitely go back to Divi Little Bay Beach Resort.

Honestly wasn’t what I’m used to we weren’t greeted upon arrival with a welcome drink or someone to take our bags we had to approach staff for everything no one came to us at all. No room service limited restaurants. And all inclusive is not so all inclusive overall I love the island itself outside of the resort. Our room was huge we had the 1bedroom suite. Will definitely return but try another resort and if you’re not of Caucasian descent be prepared to be looked over I had to repeatedly say I was next

Pool area by seaside grill was perfect for kids and the little beach bay area behind was also great - safe, good for snorkeling for little kids!
Food was overall good. Pizza is a must! Bfast buffet was good also.

Some staff were friendly, but overall not as friendly as other resorts.

Ordered a king size bed and didn’t get it. Feel like we really weren’t given a good room, but location across seaside grill worked out.

Good grocery shop onsite. Friendly staff at the aqua sports shack.

Free easy parking.

The resort was fantastic, quiet and tucked away on a private bay, the views of the ocean never got old. Staff was super pleasant and accommodating. Beach is amazing. *and the bay is protected so we had none of the sargassum. We did the all inclusive option which I would recommend- the options are a bit limited but all the food was very very good. Also the Ala carte pricing is pretty steep. The rooms were very nice and all are looking out on the ocean- not ocean view meaning you cram your head out the windows at a weird angle to see a glimpse of water. The snorkeling is spectacular, especially the path by the fort (rock beach so entry is a bit tricky but worth it) Easily the first resort I have ever considered returning to.

The property is amazing, from the location to the scenic views! The room was nice and having a kitchen was a plus. The only issue was the wifi and the tv selection. You only get 7 channels and none of them were worth watching. The wifi connection was not great in the rooms, only at the front of the property.

Poolside was fine. Free chairs and not crowded. The beach was beautiful, but everything else was a disappointment. Staff were rude, service was slow, and drink options were oddly restricted depending on time and location. Basic things were frustrating, no coffee for the in-room machine, the café closed early, and even getting toast for my sick child turned into an argument. Housekeeping was unreliable. Not a convenient location either. We did a lot of driving to see places on our list. I’d recommend staying on the French side instead.

Stayed at Divi with my family. Great location. The pools well kept but on the small side, Beach is perfect though. Staff was helpful with special shout out to Devon who serves on the beach from Gizmos. Lew was a great bartender at Gizmos too. The rooms are dated but we didn't go to spend time in the room. Can't say enough about the location located on a beautiful peninsula.

This resort is situated in a beautiful location. The beach is AMAZING. Unfortunately, the resort does not offer a lot of structured activities, so if that's what you're looking for, this may not be the place for you. The buffet restaurant was just okay, but the al fresco dining options are good. The tiles in and around the pools need attention, as does various painting around the resort.

I recently stayed at Divi Little Bay, and while there were several highlights that made the trip memorable, the dining situation was a significant drawback.

The location is hard to beat—perfectly situated with access to a gorgeous, clean beach. The rooms were spacious, and functional with a small kitchen.
What really stood out, however, was the service from the staff. The beach attendants were attentive, and both the valet and front desk teams were professional and welcoming.
Unfortunately, the food and beverage side of the resort was a major letdown. The food was mediocre at best, the prices were egregious for the quality provided.
The biggest issue was the wait times, which were clearly due to being severely understaffed. It was painful to watch a single cook and one server try to manage an entire section. The staff worked hard, but they were set up for failure, leading to a frustratingly slow dining experience every day.

Go for the stunning views, great rooms, and excellent service, but plan to eat your meals off-site.

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and happy to answer questions. I definitely would recommend the all inclusive package because with the price of food and drinks you will easily save money if you plan on eating your meals at the resort. The food was very good. The rooms were not perfect, but were what you would expect staying at a beach resort. I would definitely recommend this resort for both couples and families. If I return to St.Martin this is where I would stay.

Food was excellent. No need to do the all inclusive. We went to the grocery store for breakfasts and lunches and ate dinner on the resort. Pizza was outstanding at “Slice” and the Mexican at “the shack” was brilliant.

The meat skewers at the bar were amazing!

The snorkeling right off the beach was truly gorgeous. Many many boats of people that paid hundreds of dollars to come to the sites under the water right off our beach. Free to us! Super cool place. Clean, friendly, and will definitely visit again

Overall, we had a pleasant stay, though there is clear room for improvement. The resort's highlights are definitely the stunning beach, perfect location, and gorgeous rooftop bar. The pools are excellent and the drinks were consistently great. However, the experience was hindered by a few technical and service issues: the rooms felt quite dated, the Wi-Fi signal was weak, and the TV channel selection was poor. Most notably, the service at the Beach House and the buffet felt unprofessional and could use better training. It’s a beautiful spot, but the service and room quality need to catch up to the surroundings.

This was not our first time here but will be our last. We stayed in the oceans section - room 2008. View from the room was amazing but that’s where it ends. The water pressure in the bathroom was so bad and sewer flies came out of the drain. The sewer smell in the room was awful. Room was not cleaned each day, the same water bottle left on the walkway was there the entire week (do they not clean at all??)
When we arrived there was a family checking in who was extremely upset about their room and said they have been coming here for 30 years. The bellhop was the nicest gentleman as was the woman working in the coffee shop. The main women at the security gate basically growled at us every time we came and left the resort - clearly hates her job and was just rude. Picked up our beach towels and was warned to make sure we returned them to get the pass back or we’d be charged. On the last day I dropped the towels off in the lobby (a giant overflowing pile of wet towels) and when I inquired with the women at the front desk they seemed annoyed that I was asking and told me I already checked out and nothing needed to be done. How about thanks for coming and hope to see you soon? Outright rude! Love st Martin and come 2x per year but will be finding better places to stay

Just spent an amazing 4 days at Divi Little Bay! Our room had a gorgeous view overlooking the bay and was much more spacious than anticipated. The room was cleaned everyday by the nicest cleaning ladies. The other staff members were also very friendly. The beach was perfect and not overcrowded at all. No issue finding chairs at the beach or the main pool. The restaurants were all good and not overly expensive. The only one we didn’t try was the pureocean buffet. We definitely plan on returning!

My stay was frustrating due to the inconsistency in service. It seemed like certain guests were prioritized over others, and we did not receive the same level of care or attentiveness. I also wish there were more inclusive breakfast options, as there were no non-pork meat choices available. Beautiful property and excellent location. Room recently renovated was very nicely appointed, though it always had a peculiar smell that many people have complained about. Apparently their water supply to the rooms has too much sulfur is my understanding. Staff, from top-down, need to have some serious insightful discussions as to how to treat guests. From check-in to check-out they act as though they didn’t want to be bothered. Had planned to stay onsite as much as possible using the restaurant locations, but soon discovered that was not possible and required going to offsite restaurants. Apparently severely understaffed. It was not unusual for servers to tell you up front there would be a 45 minute to one hour wait to receive your order. Spoke to guests at other tables and seemed to us the only people who agreed to wait that long were guest who had prepaid through an all exclusive plan. So, they had no choice but to wait as they had already paid for their food. Consider this FACT if you are thinking of opting for an all inclusive plan.
In summary, a beautiful property with fantastic potential but something is really amiss at Divi Little Bay Beach Resort. I would only stay here again if I knew the shortfalls had been attended to.

The resort is decent, the hours of operation should be longer in my opinion the swim up bar by the pool closes at 5pm the pool closes at 7pm the buffet close at 10 pm everything else close at 11pm if you get hungry at night after going out there will be nothing to eat. The food is okay. Now let’s get into the rooms the shower heads are horrible the water smelled so bad we had to open the patio door to air out the room. The water has irritated my skin. The staff wasn’t very welcoming. I often felt brushed off by the staff while they waited on others. I felt a lil bit of racism. I stayed at divi for 3 nights i paid my hotel in full on Feb 9th however when i got there they said i had a balance. When i told them i didn’t they went to the back came out agin didn’t say anything and proceeded to check me in. The next day my card was charged $1,397 it was declined so they charged it an additional 2 times i spoke with the front desk about it but didn’t get real answers as to why they don’t see the full payment paid in Feb. when i left st Martin they charged my card again leaving me with a negative balance. I had all prof that i paid in advance and i was never given an apology i had to wait a week for a refund. The customer service rep that i spoke to was very kind and attentive.

Our first room was not what we thought we had booked. It was far away from main buildings and up a steep hill. There was not a direct view of the water. We asked for a change and the staff accommodated us after one day. The room over looking the beach was great, convenient to everything with a modern kitchen with washer dryer and balcony.

The room was very spacious and the view directly in front of the ocean was picturesque to say the least. However, we didn’t expect the running water to be hard, sulfuric to be exact. The pool to the swim up bar was in need of cleaning, the hot tub was filthy and not hot whatsoever. We dipped our toes in to test the water and left with a very thick film of grime all over us. Lastly, the septic system on the resort has a hut in the center of it in front of the spa . Brace yourself when you have to walk past a gust of foul wind to get to where you’re going. On the bright side, the staff were genuinely pleasant to interact with, the beach was pristine, the food was pretty good and the cleanliness of the rest of the property met our expectations. We visited the rooftop bar multiple times and got great reception from the staff there. There were two especially pleasant staff by the name of Sheena at Pure Ocean and Lew at Gizmo’s and they elevated the quality of our stay almost immediately. Their impeccable hospitality turned a lackluster trip into a great stay.

Rooms are lovely and super clean. We arrived when the maid was cleaning and there was not one surface that was not thoroughly cleaned. Even the balcony. We will definitely be back next year!!!!!!

We had the most incredible stay at Divi Little Bay Beach Resort. The location is absolutely unbeatable — tucked into its own private-feeling bay with stunning panoramic ocean views everywhere you look. Waking up to that turquoise water each morning felt unreal.

Our room was clean, spacious, and so comfortable. The balcony was one of our favorite parts — large, private, and overlooking the ocean. It was the perfect spot for morning coffee while watching the sunrise. Truly one of those “pause and soak it in” moments.

The beach was beautiful, clean, and calm — ideal for swimming and relaxing. One of the biggest highlights of our trip was snorkeling right in the bay and swimming out to the underwater statues. Such a unique experience and surprisingly easy to access. Definitely a core memory.

The gym was a little small but completely functional for getting in a solid workout. We didn’t eat at the on-site restaurants, but they looked great and always seemed busy, which is usually a good sign.

Overall, this resort delivered on views, location, and experience. If you’re heading to St. Maarten and want beachfront beauty with incredible snorkeling steps from your room, I highly recommend Divi Little Bay. We’ll absolutely be back. 🌊

Bring coffee, tea, cream, sugar, & plenty of hair conditioner as none is provided. No wifi in older rooms but heard newer rooms on rt side (looking from beach w water behind you) had some wifi. Only 7 channels on TV. Very weak & spuraric wifi. All inclusive not worth it. Food so so. Short on staff (they need to hire more). Timeshare presentation optional but was very polite. Our suite was large. Private bedroom, bath, living rm, kitchen. But not even salt and pepper in room. Spuratic maid service. Ran out of toilet paper and towels twice. Banged loudly and aggressively at 10pm to deliver towels after requesting 2 days. Resort public areas needs upgrading but full facility. (Old furniture, tiles missing at pool, etc) But could easily become 4* w upgrades (food), Maintenance & more staff. Pd 2775 not inclusive for a week. (We never went without a drink and ate when wanted and still paid over half as much if we did all inclusive). Bring $1's for cash tips. ASK FOR NEWER REMODELED ROOMS when you book.

We were all inclusive, so everytime you would eat , you would have to wait for a bill stating how much your meal was , even though you didnt have to pay for it , you still had to sign it and put your room number on it. We were told that we would have to pay for any bottled water. We dont know if they actually charged us for it yet, we didnt ask for any bottled water but they would bring it to your table most of the time anyway. Your drinks from the bar was the same you had to sign a ticket for those too. Every all inclusive resort that we have been to before , you just gave your room number and amount of guest and left whenever you were done. This receipt signing cost employees alot of time and cost us time that we could have been doing something fun.

Beautiful location and views. Pools and beach very nice. Quiet and relaxing. Rooms were clean and adequate. Rooftop restaurant bar and tapas was very nice and really liked the Shack for lunch! The little (not so little) grocery on site was great and so many options of wine and alcohol plus snacks and other drinks. If staying a short time this is fine as I hear prices are a bit higher than outside the resort although to me still reasonable. Need to take cabs or rent a car for anything off the resort recommend renting a car driving is pretty easy and definitely explore! Food on the island is very good.

We ended up getting one of the newly remodeled rooms. Beautiful with great views. Wonderful beach and beach club.
We enjoyed the restaurant, live music, food, yummy drinks in addition to watching New Year's fireworks without the craziness of Phillipsburg. Had so much fun. Go to bakery early as it sells out fast. Great cappuccinos too. Also check out the jewelers there. I bought some very high end pieces. Love them. I will definitely be going back.

The resort location provides everything you want on a vacation. The beach is excellent, there are a variety of great pools, a choice of restaurants, and Phillipsburg is a short cab ride away if you are looking to shop or try off site restaurants.

We asked for and received beach front, ground floor. I notified the hotel I can't walk steps. THERE ARE STEPS EVERYWHERE... to access the pools, to access the beach, to access the lobby, to access the shops. The room was clean and maid service daily was good. The front desk under trained and under staffed and slow as molasses. Juju at the concierge desk was NEVER stopped her insistence on attending a time share presentation. Finally I told her NO and walked away. Enough was enough. When you're all-inclusive, bottled water shouldn't cost extra. The Mix also shouldn't be an added expense or additional all-inclusive fees. It's tapas. Period. No fancy dinner. The food at the buffet was fine, but nothing exceptional except for lobster night. The food at Sea Breeze was the best of the venues and the staff was lovely there. We ordered Salmon and Chicken entrees cooked on lava rocks. We didn't expect to receive totally raw proteins and a hot rock to cook it ourselves. You have a chef for a reason. The beach was kept nicely, plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas, but not enough cabanas considering people leave their stuff in one and leave for hours on end. Overall, a nice experience, but the accessibility issue got in the way. Steel drums and vocalists on some nights. Pools were clean and well-maintained. Not worth an additional stay but no harm, no foul if you stay here.

Food was pretty good. Shower wasn’t the best and water smelled weird. Room was so big and beautiful with an amazing balcony. Around new years service was slow but after it was good. Someone who stood out to us was Mimi at pure ocean. She was the best!! Comfortable location and although there is so much to explore in SXM, the resort was so relaxing and nice that I didn’t really want to leave.

The best beach location on the island.This grand resort was once a 5 star resort but unfortunately is in need of TLC. The pools and public areas are in need of refurb. The WiFi and TV need a major IT upgrade. The musty room AC units need replacement. Dining options are inconsistent in quality. The staff are great and do what they can with what they have to work with….

What a disappointment this year. Many years coming to this Resort, but never such a disaster. We booked a one-bedroom suite, which the website stated comes with an ocean view. Unfortunately, all we got a view of was the neighboring building. Instead of a nice patio overlooking the Great Bay, like we had many years before, we got two tiny balconies where I can't even fit my yoga mat. It's also a 10-minute trek to the beach and three flights of stairs up, which is NOT my definition of a great vacation. To add insult to injury, the front desk staff was downright rude and dismissive when I tried sharing my frustrations, and they did not even attempt to rectify the situation. For the price I paid for the room, it is an awful way to be treated. Due to this disheartening experience, I think we'll be looking for different accommodations on the island for the foreseeable future.

Check-in was long and unorganized. Only two people checking guests in when the line was quite long. Rooms were not ready, and we had to keep checking back to see if ours was. Check-in time is 4PM. Our room wasn’t ready until close to 5 PM. I heard others with similar complaints.

While there are several eating/drinking places, options are limited: 2 Italian restaurants (both require reservations) and 3 beach snack/bar areas (pizza, Mexican and burgers).

It’s more of a hotel complex than a resort. Wouldn’t choose it again.

We booked 2 nights at Divi Little Bay Beach resort for a Double room Beachside but we were given a beachview room at Oceans. They told us it was the same price so for them there was nothing to do...

Our room # 1207 needs TLC. Room is not well insulated. There was Mold under the sinks cabinet. The Door second security lock was damaged.

Phone doesn't work.

Our 2 cards were deprogrammed twice during our 2 nights stay.

For the positive, the beach and view is beautiful. Food and staff is good. The gym, grocery and coffee is neat. They have a nice historic site to visit called Fort Amsterdam.

The spot is perfect but the Oceans needs TLC and better customer service. Would not book again.

When I booked this trip Expedia showed it was all inclusive but when I got to the resort it didn't honour what the booking stated. Misrepresentation and false advertisement!!! Very disappointing. I had to pay out of pocket for my 5 year old and myself the entire trip. Ive contacted both the resort and Expedia for a reasonable resolution just for them to decline everything.

View and beach beautiful. Rooms were lovely. Had no hairdryer in two of our three rooms, for first 3 days despite numerous requests. Requested a crib which they did not have. The first day baby slept on floor with pillows. UNACCEPTABLE. They finally bought a brand new crib which my family had to assemble by themselves. About the 6th day of our trip a daughter entered her room to a mini flood. The air conditioner was blocked and dripping for. The brought extra towels and a bucket and we didn’t see them again. Left wet towels outside of room where they remained for two days and no one cleaned her room for remainder of our 9 day stay. Our rooms were tended to 4 out of 9 days. They don’t sweep the room but there is a broom in the closet. Lastly, pigeons are often on the deck and they poop on the ledges of the big arched openings on the deck, so when you look out there’s all bird poop on the ledge
