Check in was a nightmare! After a full day of traveling, the room wasn't ready, even though it was 6 pm. Then we had to wait for a bellman for about 30 minutes to take us to the room, even though we wanted to just walk ourselves. Once we said were not going to attend the DIVI VACATIONS meeting, which was only available at noon on one of our days, the attitude changed! It was difficult to find chairs together at the pool, the pool was not in great condition either, there were lots of missing tiles. We also had to get our own chairs and umbrella the one day we were at the beach. We paid for the most expensive all inclusive, and there were NEVER any smoothies available from the coffee shop, one that you have to pay the upgraded price to enjoy. The buffet was okay, the burger and bar by the beach were fantastic. There were days that certain restaurants were to even open, which was odd to us. We had to constantly ask for coffee in our room just so I could brew a pot of coffee in the morning. Overall it was okay, most of the staff were very nice.

The room at Oceans had an amazing view and was very clean! The staff were friendly and helpful! The parking, pools, and gym were nice as well. We truly enjoy our visits to this property! If I can make one suggestion, it would be to improve the taste and selection of foods at Mix! Some menu items should be changed out and the shrimp cocktail was not very good. The presentation was excellent but the taste and value was not there. The views from Mix cannot be beat though!

Total Valentines disappointment on the room provided as the room reserved does not match and the front desk staff genuinely do not care about customer satisfaction. We were told that we would be moved to a higher floor at about 230p when we arrived. And at 415 check in there is nothing available. It is very distasteful to have the staff walk to the back and management allow them to answer the phone in the back office as different employees to tell me that there was nothing they could do. Pretty much that my money has been taken and I have to contact a third party to express my concerns about the resort I’m visiting.

The staff is the best. Helpful to say the least. I had a problem with finding a chair for the pool. Unless you wake up at 745 and place a towel on a chair all the chairs are taken. This was a problem every day. I know it's like this at most resorts. Not sure how to fix it other then getting up early. They need to address that. Also as rooms were in high demand I chose the first Ocean View room I could get. Better check it especially if you are older as I am. The ocean view room for me was on top of a hill and spent twice a day climbing steps and ramps to get to my room.

Overall most of the staff was extremely friendly. We did however have an extremely rude waitress . She told the table beside us 20 minutes before her shift was over “ I am done if you want a drink go to the bar don’t ask me” we sat about 20 minutes and she did not come over my wife went and asked her if we could get a drink , she told my wife she is done go to the bar my wife said it would have been nice if you let us know she rolled her eyes and walked away…. This is the first time we have ever been treated like that at a resort and will unfortunately not go back there again. The food was not bad, no idea why an all inclusive does not have room service if you want drinks, water, soft drinks you have to go to one of the bars or restaurants and ask for it. Room service was not consistent at all our room was not cleaned I called and asked why and was told we did not request for our room to be cleaned even though we had the sign hanging on our door. Had a suite the view was Beautiful…

Front staff was not courteous or helpful. There was no real explanation of what was included in all inclusive. We paid $200 extra per person to upgrade to premium, and we were not given premium when we got to the Divi. Certain way staff were excellent and others were not overly friendly and did not make eye contact for service very often. There was not a lot of excursions available from the Divi

Rooms at Oceans were beautiful... on the 4th floor wet had stunning views of Little Bay, huge patio, and functional kitchen. The rooms were clean and ready to check in when we arrived. The staff was lovely and with the exception of getting a shower that only put out boiling water fixed after 5 days and 13 requests, the stay was without issue. In comparison to previous stays I would say the food across the resort was much better. I wish the check in process was faster... it was nearly an hour and we were 3rd in line when we arrived. I also think that even if you book like a hotel customer, which we did as my points were unusable, ownership should be recognized on check in.

Overall we had a fine stay, pool was lovely, enjoyed the beach front access, many food options and a little store. NOT the hotel for younger people, not a girls trip hotel. We came with a group in our 20s and entire resort was 60+ crowd, music at pool catered to old crowd. Service was not the best. Bell boys were kind but calling front desk was never a good experience. Our beds had no blankets just top sheets we had to call many times to get a blanket. Called for the bell boy golf cart to help us with our luggage at check out and no one ever came, one of the girls is pregnant and we had to lug our suitcases down to the lobby because they never sent someone.

There was also no poolside service. We decided to do a day pass at the Morgan Resort and service was 100000x better, more comfortable pool chairs and poolside drink/food service.

The Divi was adequate enough as a place to rest your head but if you’re looking for a relaxing, lux, young crowd and to feel like you’re actually in vacation Divi was not that

First time ever at Sint Maarten. Our 4-night stay was very enjoyable. The resort staff were very friendly and helpful. Mousekeeping and maintenance staff were very attentive. All facilities were kept clean and in good repair. Very relaxing campus. The food served at all the resort's restaurants was excellent. We especially enjoyed the pizza at \"Slice\" and the fish & shrimp tacos at \"The Shack\" were delicious as well. Lovely dinner served on hot lava rocks at \"Seabreeze\". Great taxi service to rest of island & to/from airport. We will definitely be returning to this resort. Highly recommended!

Location was great, room spacious and comfortable. Majority of staff were very pleasant but a few were less than enthusiastic about service. Food was very average and there were no fine dining experiences. Great if you want Burgers, pizza and mediocre entrees. All inclusive drink options were limited and it was tiresome having to sign for everything despite having the all inclusive bracelet. Entertainment was fairly minimal unless you wanted to play bingo.

The airport is about 15-20min drive and taxi costs 40$
When you arrive don’t expect to be checked in before check in time 😊 4pm. If you arrive before, they have a hospitality room that you can change in and then enjoy the resort . They take your luggage in a room that’s locked.
They have people help you bring in the luggage to your room after.
The food was amazing. There’s about 4 restaurants on the resort. The buffet had different dinners every night (Italian, Mediterranean, Asian night, Caribbean..etc). The other restaurants the menu was the same for dinner but different for lunch.
Unfortunately I couldn’t find good coffee anywhere however the rooms had nespresso so I used that.
There was nothing for the kids to do. They just enjoyed the beach and the pool but no other activities.
It was very quiet and relaxing. There was live music every night @7pm that you can enjoy with your dinner.
Would definitely return!
We did all inclusive and it was worth it. Otherwise a dinner would cost between 100$-200$ for people of 4.. depending. Drinks on the beach were about 8$ if you didn’t do all inclusive.
There’s shops and mini market on the resort site and prices were very reasonable.

View was nice but the room was a little dated. Felt let down as I’d booked a pretty nice room for a special occasion. On the positive side the management did issue a credit to offset being booked into the wrong room.

Oceans at Divi Resorts – St. Maarten
I stayed at Oceans at Divi Resorts – St. Maarten from January 16–19 to celebrate my friend's birthday, and unfortunately my experience was deeply disappointing and unsettling.
During my stay, $500 USD was stolen from my wallet inside my hotel room. This was not money left in a public area—it was inside my room, a space that is supposed to be secure and accessible only to authorized staff and guests. This represents a serious breach of trust, safety, and security.
Vacations—especially international trips—require hard work, planning, and financial sacrifice. No guest should ever have to worry about theft occurring inside their room at a resort that claims to prioritize guest comfort and safety. Beyond the financial loss, the violation and lack of security left me feeling unsafe and disappointed.
This incident raises major concerns about staff access, internal controls, and accountability. A resort of this caliber should have systems in place to protect guests and their belongings at all times.
I am sharing this review so future guests are aware and so management understands how unacceptable this experience was. I hope this issue is taken seriously and corrective action is implemented immediately.
Guest safety should never be optional.

Stayed at the Oceans property, which is central to all the restaurants except Sea Breeze. The property is not very large but location is amazing. The views are breathtaking and is close to Phillipsburg.

We had a double bed room and some things I didn't like were the washroom could use a bit of renovations like re grouting, other than that the room is essentially just to sleep and change clothes.

We are at all the restaurants except the Mix and Fort Amsterdam and food was great (we did the all inclusive). Staff are very polite and courteous.

The beach and pool are fantastic. The sunsets on the beach are beautiful!

This resort tends to get very quiet after 1030 pm, so don't expect late night parties or music late into the night.

All staff were kind and friendly.
Housekeeping was average at best. In 8 days she only left fresh wash cloths once. I had to call downstairs and a bellman would bring them in the evening. Also if we happen to pass her in the hall she’d ask do we want our room mopped- if we didn’t see her it didn’t get mopped😒
We had AC issues and were temporarily moved to another unit. We never received confirmation the AC in our unit had been repaired. We had to continuously check on progress ourself while on vacation.
The pools are beautiful however they need a good cleaning! There is mildew buildup around the top of tiles and many tiles are missing.
This resort could be amazing - so much potential!
The beach towel system is such an inconvenience- there are better ways.
Having the option for room service (especially in the evening) would be a huge perk.

The pool and easy access to the beach at this location are wonderful. The drivers and staff are also wonderful. The hotel accommodations, however, need major improvements. So much in my room did not work that I had to be moved. It was clear that they already knew about these problems--no functioning TV, phone, AC, etc. While they are nice people, check-in takes entirely too long--upward of 30 mins of waiting because too few work the front desk--which is annoying after a long travel day. In all, this place was overpriced for what it delivers. I won't stay here again.

In addition, the presentation of a bill with prices to all inclusive guests requiring signatures was inconvenient.

We felt the resort was not at full capacity yet we seemed to wait for food and drinks everywhere suggesting the resort was not fully staffed either.

Divi Little Bay Resort is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with great pools and beaches. However, the all-inclusive package is not worth the money. Food options are limited, repetitive, mostly fast food, and often poor in quality. The buffet isn’t open for lunch, breakfast lacks local Caribbean dishes, and themed dinners—even Thanksgiving and Asian night—were disappointing.

Service is a major issue: many staff members were rude, unfriendly, and appeared overworked. Wait times for food were extremely long, sometimes over two hours. Night entertainment was minimal and ended early, and the rooftop bar wasn’t included in the package, charging an overpriced $40 per person after 10 pm. Late check out not an option and no service after you check out at 10 am.

Overall, the service and food experience were among the worst you’ve had, and you recommend staying at the resort but eating off-site instead. Management needs significant improvements in staffing, service, and menu quality.

This is a great resort. The check in was quick and easy. Edriek the cart driver helped us to the room and was very informative. Room was clean. Staff is very nice. Try to get room on the higher floors for best views. Met several staff members who were so helpful. Martin gave us lots of info about the island and the property. They have a roof top bar with great views. There is a young man at the pizza stand with a pizza named after him who was also memorable. Thanks for a great stay.

It’s a lovely property although the older part is currently undergoing renovations. At times, Staff provided outdated or misinformation which was frustrating. Towel service was not convenient at all / they would run out of clean towels or not be available to hand them out. Towel exchange/drop off was also nowhere near the pool which was very inconvenient. There were not enough showers/washrooms at the pools. But overall, we had a good stay. The food in the restaurants was great!

The shower door was broke, water came out into the floor. Went to Gizmos for dinner, sat down and no one ever came over to take our order. Tried relaxing on the balcony while a hotel worker was using a jackhammer for 3 hours. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else.

The view was incredible. The pools were nice and visually stunning from the room especially at night. The staff in general were nice and helpful. Some of the food staff seemed like they were new and did not know how things worked. A run around experience at times. Go here to accomplish that, no go back as they are supposed to do that. Mildly frustrating. The breakfast at the Seabreeze was atrocious. There was deli meat that was put out which appeared to have gone bad. Not sure how you mess up bacon but they did. Eggs were gross. Didn’t eat breakfast again at the resort. Other food was good, at gizmos and the shack. The grounds were kept reasonably clean. Room was nice but needed some maintenance on doors. Some wouldn’t close at all. Tv remotes did not control the tv and had to reconfigure them to get them to work. Not as clean as Simpson bay report or maho sonesta. Overall a nice place to stay but needs a few adjustments. Likely won’t be back given experiences at sonesta are all around better.

This is an attempt at a fair review. Stayed for 4 nights in August 2025.

Pro’s:
- the room was clean and updated.
- the food at the resort was ok(there is a service charge attached to certain items)
- the staff were generally friendly and helpful

Cons:
- The resort is very secluded. If you are looking for a vacation where you have the resort to yourself than this is the location (August is low season for tourism). If you are looking to go out for dinner or do some sightseeing than this location is not ideal. It takes 25 minutes via cab to get to the more popular locations and It is also approximately 30 minutes to the French side of the island. If you intend on staying here but want to leave the resort either be prepared to spend a ton on cabs or rent
- the concierge desk was incredibly unhelpful. After our initial check in, where 25 minutes was spent convincing us to attend a 90 minute time share meeting, they provided no help.
—While I maybe should have foreseen that excursions are non refundable, the concierge manager cancelled our day trip (at our request) and advised the service provider the hotel had no issue keeping the funds paid
- no room service
- no beach service for drinks.

We likely would not attend again based solely on the location

Can’t Wait to Come Back!
Divi Little Bay was everything we hoped for and more! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth, clean, and welcoming. The AC in our room worked perfectly (which we really appreciated after a not-so-great experience elsewhere), and the room itself was spotless and comfortable.
The beach is absolutely beautiful, crystal-clear water and soft sand, just steps away. The resort also had so many fun activities going on: we loved the games, the crab races were hilarious, and bingo was fun. They have taxi drivers near the main lobby so this was a plus for us! We ended up using the same one our whole trip— Jean, he was great and professional.

The food was great throughout our stay, with good variety and quality. Every day felt like a fun, relaxing getaway. This place truly exceeded our expectations — we would definitely stay here again without hesitation!

The property was beautiful and location was fantastic. The views are just incredible especially from the oceans buildings. The room accomodations at the Oceans bldg were recently renovated and look great!! have to commend management/ ownership for this. We opted for the all- inclusive package. The food menu for dinner at pureocean restaurant needs to be better. Breakfast options were great. Surfside restaurant was a better option for dinner. Although majority of the staff were very friendly and helpful, some were bit grumpy. This needs to change. You should not openly grumble about work and other things while guests are around. The managers need to motivate and encourage staff to focus on customer service and leave the bickering and petty discussions outside the work area. We have been to St. Lucia and stayed at many good resorts and the staff and service are simply amazing.

We just got back from an excellent time at the DIVI Resort. We staying in the 1 bedroom suite in the Oceans building. Very nice suite with great views. Nice appliances (including a washer/dryer, 2 separate showers!) We overlooked a very nice multilevel infinity pool with a fire pit in the middle as we as ocean. We did the inclusive package which worked out very well and covered by almost all the bars and restaurants.
I wish the resort would have a daily shuttle to the airport and a shuttle that would run down to Front street (a main shopping area about 2 miles from the resort). But you can get a taxi on sitefor about $10 to take you there. I would rent a car for a day, maybe two to visit the French side of the island, but it doesn't pay to have a car for a week since you'll most likely hang out at the resort most of the time and use taxis when you want to leave the resort. There are very few things to do within walking distance of the resort They have a small dive/snorkeling operation as well as a thrifty rental car location at the resort.

Nice property and staff were very pleasant. Beach was clean and calm. Really appreciated not having to save chairs and umbrellas every day as the water sports center took care of that for guests. Another restaurant option would be nice as the Pure Ocean restaurant is now buffet all the time.

Fantastic beach

This was the second hotel we stayed at. Fantastic beach and pool area. Good value for money. Staff very nice except at Gizmos Bar. Easy to get taxis and get around the island. Property a little bit tired but overall would recommend.

Property and beach are very clean and well kept. Aqua Mania will take the umbrella regardless because they leave at 5pm. Most of the staff are friendly but there were a handful that didn’t want to deal with anyone.
Breakfast is the same everyday, lunch and dinner were average. Typically were only in our room in the evening and the TV could never keep a clear signal but they did clean the room everyday.
