We have stayed many times at the Hilton Royal Palm and always love it. We stayed in the West Wing which tends to be quieter at night. Resort is clean and well kept, staff is very friendly and helpful and it is conveniently located to many restaurants. It’s not on the best beach on the island but it’s still fine especially for kids.

It's a nice resort with a beautiful view of the boats. There was a beach but the water was rocky with seaweed and was more of a harbor/marina feel. The staff was very nice but the concierge was extremely pushy about trying to get us to go to their 90 minute presentation, even after we said we weren't interested. It was really offputting, so instead of feeling like we could go ask the concierge for recommendations in the area, we avoided eye contact with her the whole time. Also, the nightclub Nowhere Special across the street was extremely loud every night from 9pm to after 2am. The room we were in was so loud it was like they were in our living room. I wouldn't stay there again unless I was guaranteed a room without the noise!

The location is super convenient for everything, whether walking to restaurants or getting to other parts of the island.

Room was spotless and well laid out and the views of the Caribbean sunset from the balcony couldn’t be better.
Staff was amazing and on site restaurant was very good as well.
We rented a car and parking was included and secure.

I would stay here again but be warned it can be loud late into the night from the bar across the street. Especially Sunday night ironically.

The stay was amazing! We were told when we arrived that our room was owned by a time share, and that we may have needed to move a coupe days into the trip. The hotel remedied this by offering an upgraded room and voucher for food at the restaurant for the inconvenience. We eventually didn’t need to move and were able to enjoy every amenities and the great view of the ocean water! Would very much recommend. The view was so beautiful!

This is a very nice hotel. I traveled with 3 family members and the two bedroom suite was perfect. The facilities are good and it was nice to have a full kitchen. My only complaint was that there were lots of mosquitoes in the apartment when we checked in. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The condo unit was outstanding, not a scratch, furniture was immaculate and super clean. Everything worked and it was well stocked with bathroom amenities and even included dishwashing liquid. The staff were very friendly and super polite.

The room was nice but it had a net covering over the balcony. Not sure why, maybe it was to keep the birds out. The onsite restaurant was pretty good. Reasonable prices for drinks. Pizza was good. The club across the street was cool. Live band on Saturday night was nice. Restaurants a within walking distance. The onsite beach was nice as well. I enjoyed my stay.

Excellent suite with double patio doors facing the ocean. Clean and bright rooms with well stocked kitchen area. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Club next door was very loud and kept us up on Friday night. Paid a daily resort fee but they only changed our towels once and did not change the sheets. Paid additional 15% fee for dinner in hotel which doesn’t even go to our server. Overall a wonderful location near grocery stores and great restaurants within walking distance.

Very nice resort located along the strip on the Dutch side. The property is clean, and the staff is very friendly. Although housekeeping isn’t provided unless you’re staying 5+ days, the staff was quick to deliver towels and any other necessities when requested. The only slight inconvenience was the elevator access. If you’re on the west side of the building (near the BBQ restaurant), the ground-floor elevator is reserved for staff only. This meant carrying luggage and groceries up and down the stairs to the second floor (stairs are very steep) or taking a longer walk to the available elevator. Additionally, the walk from the lobby to the far west side of the building is quite long.

Our 2 bedroom suite was very well appointed and equipped. There was a lovely view of the bay from our balcony which we really enjoyed with our morning cup of tea. The hotel is withing walking distance of many good restaurants and smaller eateries. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We hung at the bar for the time of our stay and Morgan was exceptional. There was also Marie, Devon and Adriel (I knicknaned him Baby).
I had one minor issue with my room it was resolved in a matter of minutes with an email to follow up.
This was my second stay as I usually stay at Simpson Bay, but it sure bet will not be that last. See you all in a couple of weeks!

The hotel is in a good location, near to the airport and has its own beach.
Overall it is clean and the rooms/suites are spacious.
I took the option with breakfast included, very disappointed. Who can eat the same things every single morning and with no other option to switch. Also it was very limited.
There is only one restaurant in the hotel that doesn’t know how to cook or serve. Tried one time, never again.
There are a lot of good eating options around so you can always find something based on your appetite.
The natives are very friendly and respectful.
The swimming pool of the hotel is relatively small and crowded.

Great food options nearby, definitely a hub of activity and close to casinos. Pool small but adequate, not sure how well it would work at the peak season. Beach also adequate. Views are stunning. Super close to the airport so if you don’t want to rent a car it’s a great place to create a base. Rooms were impressive and very well appointed. WiFi was spotty and the televisions did not have streaming capabilities (we like to gather at night as a family and play games or watch a movie). Our last night was a bit noisy (Friday night) from the bar across the street. Overall super impressed and it depends on what kind of vacation you want. Hotel staff super friendly and helpful. Warning though. There is a 15% service fee that does not goes to the staff. It’s another fee on top of their quite generous exchange rate that heavily favors the house. One virgin Pĩna Colada costs 8 euros, but by the time they get done with “their” exchange rate and the 15% “service fee” you are looking at $16 US per drink. Without TIP We stay on the other side of the island and do see a service fee at times but that acts as a tip for the staff. Knowing that in Advance I would get food from the awesome grocery store a couple of blocks away and get dinners out at the lolo’s right next door.

The location is very central and you can walk to many restaurants. The beach was lovely and the view from our room was amazing. The food at the hotel was great and not as expensive as you would typically find in hotel. The Deli store was very covienent when you only needed snacks or drinks. The happy hour at the bar was fun and the staff at the Cabana bar were great specially Marie!
As for the noise coming from the bar in front of the hotel, we did hear it but it did not bother us for sleep. Would come back to this hotel!

Fantastic 2 bedroom suites here with full kitchen including all utensils, appliances, cookware, flatware, various glassware. Everything you need for a week (or more if you’re stuck in a hurricane) of cooking with Carefour market about 5 minutes away. The hotel worked really well for our family, which included two young boys. We had the two bedroom suite and it was more than big enough for six people, it had two bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook.

We really liked the location as it was central to many restaurants you could easily walk to. The only downside is that the bar across the street is EXTREMELY loud. If noise is an issue for you request a room on the right side of the property when viewing from the street.

Simpson Bay was perfect for kids, but the water quality seemed to be the worst of the entire island. We ended up spending extra on cabs to go to Mullet beach and others as we weren't happy with the beach.

Pool stays open late and pool bar has a nice happy hour. The activities team was really engaging and they did water aerobics every morning. The highlight was the crab race!

Overall, the property is nice. It’s right on the beach although the sand is rocky and not that smooth. The pool is small. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The food in the restaurant is mediocre. It is walking distance from most restaurants and cafés. Free parking was a bonus.

This was my first time staying at Royal Palm. It is a very nice hotel and has nice staff. It is in a great location for walking to stores, restaurants, bars, etc..I constantly saw staff cleaning and doing all they could to keep the property in nice condition. The small gym is nice, clean and bright. The beach is nice and has beach loungers and umbrellas. The food at the restaurant was ok but there are so many great options within walking distance. I liked the on-sight small grocery store for when I needed something but the prices are a little high.

Overall this property was ok. However, I was disappointed with the house keeping, for the week we were there , no one came to clean our room, I called down and was told we don’t have house keeping. Is that a thing? I also don’t like that it’s so public to outsiders and as well the privacy to and from the beach wasn’t adequate. I also didn'tloke there was only one pool which was quite crowded although we visited off-season/ slow season. There is only one restaurant on the property but lots surrounding.

Loved the private beach area with umbrellas and chairs , pool area, restaurant on site with delicious breakfast and dinner options. The swim up bar was very enjoyable. The staff was sooooo friendly and our rooms were SPOTLESS. Gift shop on site was as good as going out shopping around… and the market on the premises has anything you forgot. We took family pics out on the beach one night. Only negative was the bar down the street you can hear the music late at night. But as far as this property…. BOOK IT!
