If you are looking for a cheap stay then this should be the only reason you book here , front desk told me where the parking was for property but forgot to mention $28daily fee , yes property is on the beach but the chairs are for daily rental

Rooms were small and loud (thin doors). But once going out to the beach, bar, coffee shop, pool, it is quickly forgotten. Staff and all those features are fantastic. This makes for a wonderful holiday and great value

Staff could use some training in communication and people skills. Hotel could use a facelift but we were only staying one night so that was no big deal. The food at the Hotel was mediocre at best and pricy. If you are planing an extended stay I would probably look at other options.

The staff was very rude and unhelpful. We couldn’t even get the basic things that a person expects in any hotel. No washcloths, hand towels, etc. Nowhere in the hotels description does it state that it is not handicapped accessible. This is important to a lot of people, especially elderly ones. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

The location being so close a nice, calm beach was really nice, and the warm pool overlooking the pool was really cool. Howver, if you have a car, it is very difficult to find parking. We had to walk several blocks with our luggage. Also, the room was pretty small and definitely old, but fir the price I cant complain.

The room was neglected, There was a broken closet door that I reported upon checking in and it was not attended to. 5 days later upon checkout it's still broken, and the room had a musty odor.
The staff were inattentive, they seem preoccupied. They did not even give us a run down of the hotel's amenities and services.

Bar, Cleaning & Front Desk staff were friendly & helpful.
We were thankful for the coffee maker & blow dryer they provided when requested.
We had room 27 that is small but had what was needed. It had one window that faced the pool with a small view of beach and cruise ships.
The only negatives were the bed was uncomfortable & could use more or thicker pillows and a light blanket. We made due and did not ask for them.
Also be aware the restaurant & bar closes at 8pm with nothing available after.
The whole Boardwalk closes early especially once cruise tourists leave. You must plan your dinners before 7 pm in most restaurants.

The older of the two ladies at reception was just Downright rude , she was cut , she was dismissive , she was impolite and did not make my first interaction with the hotel staff a good.

As anticipated, the room was dated carpets, old furniture and fixed things. Very outdated shower. Though clean also was outdated, I got sufficient hot water to take a shower. The bet was soft and uncomfortable..

By far the highlight of my stay was my interaction with the lady in the market, I don't remember her name but she was very pleasant, very cheerful had a very upbeat personality engaged to me kind of helped me find what I was looking for coupled with Elaine behind the bar who is the consummate professional engaged me in small talk. My drinks were good.The service food was good.Suggested that I go for a walk along the boardwalk , to experience that told me they were exercise equipment at the end of the boardwalk , so she was very helpful overall. She is a great credit to the hotel.

However.the price for the hotel was commensurate with the quality of the rooms and the fixings therein.So I can't complain, had my experience with the staff at reception been better.You would have gotten a better rating.

The hotel is not set up for handicap people. The lobby is on the second floor and there is no elevator. The room and washroom was clean but small with little room to move around the bed when entering the room. There was no hairdryer in the room and the amenities were small. The staff was great and helped with any concerns, especially the manager , \"John\".
The location is wonderful as it is on the main street which is ideal for shopping and the beach was right behind the hotel. There was a lovely pool but there was no handrail, making it difficult to enter and exit without assistance.

Although location is great and only the staff in reception were polite, professional and courteous, unfortunately the amenities were not great. The personal in the bar / restaurant at the pool were very nasty and rude. They are more concerned to the “day pass” for the cruise than their client. I won’t be returning to this particular place neither will suggest it to others.

The location was perfect. The beach amenities were perfect. (They did not warn us about the $3 per day beach towel charge, it would have been nice to have known that up front.)

Our room was clean, but it desperately needed a paint refresh. We had no chair for the first few days of our trip and there was no table lamp. The safe didn’t work, so we needed a key to use our safe. We started day one with hand towels, but that was it. We never saw another hand towel again.

Would I book again? I would. The outdoor staff were very nice and you can’t beat the location on the Boardwalk. There is a delightful cheese shop at the end of Front Street and because we had an in room fridge, we were able to have charcuterie for lunch each day.

Your best bet for breakfast is their cafe next door. The breakfast bar was delicious. I highly recommend the pancakes. Try the Johnny cakes!

Overall it was a lovely vacation.

The room was in poor condition, with old and dirty furnishings. Floor tiles were filthy, and bathroom tissue holder was broken. It was extremely noisy inside the room. The exterior of the hotel was not very representative of the interior. This is not a place that I would return to or recommend.

We found the hotel while on a cruise and with the pool right out front on the beach we decided we would like to come back sometime and stay a week.We booked the room on beach side with a large deck overlooking the beach with a kitchen. We just loved it! It was perfect and while we never did use the kitchen, only to make coffee every morning, the restaurants were excellent! Very relaxing week!

We both paid the same amount but my friend has the ocean view and a much better furnished room. The toilet in my room is way to small like kid's size toilet...very inconvenient and uncomfortable to use. These toilets should be \"adults\" size elongated toilets. The TV in the room is small like 24\" screen. I cannot get hot water from the shower at all. The front desk staff needs training in better customer service and sevice with a smile.... instead of saying no when asked for a extra pillow. The WiFi should be integrated at poolside...Also, charging $22.00 USD for a hamburger at poolside bar is too expensive and no Happy Hour was offered. Front desk should accommodate guest and offer luggage handling assistance to guest with problems climbing the stairs since there's no elevator in this 3 floors building...Lugging heavy luggages up and down a tall flight of stairs is dangerous and a major problem from the street level where you get dropped off by taxi.

Terrible service at the bar. Tall girl that works at the bar is very aggressive and disrespectful. Treating hotel guests as minority, giving orders to clean tables and trash, never seen such behavior. Same girl let locals come inside, smoke pot and cigars but always disrespectful to hotel guests. I will suggest owners to check video recordings and resolve the issue ASAP, otherwise hotel will be losing more clients going forward. We will never return to the hotel again. It’s very sad how one person can turn vacation into a nightmare. I will let know to all my friends to stay in other places. P.S: if owner or manager wants to know who I am talking about - I can share a picture.

1)Booked for 4 persons - room was prepared for 3 for the entire stay .
2) No hand bands to show who is or aren’t guests at the hotel
3) No phones in the rooms = no room service = “ Bed only made” cleaning .
4) No water for guest in room at arrival ; plus no microwave - THAT SUCKED
5) You have to pay to enter an event held on the property that you’re staying lol - totally dumb to me if you’d ask
6) Don’t alert people when they’re closing the water when they’re working on the pipes or whateva ..
7)Empty porch , so I guess stand and watch the streets
8)Did not enjoy the drinks , watered down .. they actually looked confused running the bar
9)Disliked the location of the outlets in the room

The only good thing about this place is the location , sorry .

The property is close to the stores on front street. Unfortunately to enter you have to go up a flight of stairs with your luggage.
While resting I was called by the reception and she inquired if I took someone suitcase.
I let her enter my room to check. This is rather inconvenient.Noone came back to tell me if they found the suitcase. Service should be priority.

This hotel could be really special because of its location and pool area, but the beds rooms
and breakfast rooms are in desperate need of updating, and owners of this place need to act quickly, because all I heard in the 6 days I stayed here was customers complaining about everything .. the staff can’t handle the stress, because it’s not their fault.. it will continue to receive more bad reviews until these issues are resolved!

Cleo, a bartender there, was the highlight of the stay! She made the best drinks of the 4 different bartenders who served me. Some bartenders charge a service charge if you take your drink onto the beach. The food in the restaurant is ok, there is a restaurant next door that is really good. The dutch pancake in the hotel restaurant was good. Overall the service was very good. Everyone was kind and helpful. Honestly, I really can't really complain about the rooms - you get what you pay for and I chose to spend money on experiences and food/drinks rather than a pretty room I would be in for a few hours a day. It's an old facility and it shows. Even still, they provided fresh linen and housekeeping daily. For what you pay - its just fine. If you want spa/lux/pretty rooms this is not one you should choose.

Ideal was the close proximity to the ocean and shopping outlets. The added convenience of eateries and groceries were a bonus. The restuarant offerings were delicious and staff freindly and helpful. Having the room refreshed daily was appreciated.

I was disappointment in not have a microwave or even a kettle in the room. Parking is an issue in having to park somewhere else and walk with whatever belongings to the hotel.

Looking for a quick room it’s ok. Bed TV AC fridge private bathroom. But as they said they are renovating. I experienced the cool pool bar and cabanas.
