Our stay was perfect. The room was clean and very comfortable. There was a small kitchen area with tea/coffee/plates/cups and microwave. Very good location for Paddington and Edgware Road underground stations and lots of great places for breakfast nearby. We needed to amend our reservation in advance of our stay and the customer service was great. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The staff was very kind and attentive. Listing doesn’t do justice for how spacious it was. Very close to Paddington station. Kitchen had basic utensils, although I would pack specific items such as chopping board and colander. But overall had a good time the place was very lovely. The complimentary items were very sweet and a nice touch to that already good space and welcoming environment. Would stay again.

Awful hotel, we could hear all neighbours showering, talking, kids jumping, the heater did not work and it took more than 24h for them to fix it (after I threatened to leave), homeless people screaming outside in the middle of the night, sink not drain and stinking, and worst of all, they would simply to cancel our next reservation after we complained about all of this.
Avoid at all cost, it is cheap for a reason,worse than a cheap hostel…

There was a warm welcome, the room was large and clean but. Too hot, could not open windows, A/C didn't work, the bathroom had issues with the drainage and the smell was bad, I left an item in the fridge, it was worth a lot of money and I have called within an hour of leaving and spoke to the cleaner and the manager, (one and the same person) and they insisted 'it wasn't there' If these negatives were addressed it would be a good stay.

We have been coming to London for many years and few
hotels/apartments we would return to - this is an exception - the position close to Paddington is what we need within easy walking of everything, the staff are what stands out here, we arrived early but our bags were in our room on our return, nothing was too much trouble, they were always willing to help in any way. daily towels and water topped up which is rare in most hotels these days. We won't hesitate to return

5* one night stay

Stayed for one night due to a concert at Wembley, never used an apartment before as usually go to hotels but surprisingly this was the cheapest option! There were 2x packs of crisps, 2x bottles of water 2x cans of Pepsi, 1x KitKat and 1x small bottle of rose prosecco of which were complimentary waiting for us, I found this a nice welcome treat. The bed was massive and the mattress comfy which for me was great, I had a good nights sleep and the curtains blocked out all light. The TV had basic viewing channels which was fine and all amenities worked, there was also complimentary soaps and body wash/shampoo for the bathroom. The bathroom was clean and there was a fridge, kitchen, iron, ironing board, sink etc in the main room which were also ideal (I didn’t use any of these but they looked in good condition to me). Personally I found this better than some hotels I have been to and I would go again, this was also in a decent area.

I had a lovely stay the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very efficient, which made everything really easy from check-in to check-out. The room itself was very comfortable, clean, and tidy. While the décor isn’t quite finished to a high standard (a few rough paintwork areas here and there), it didn’t affect the overall experience. I’d happily stay again.

Comfortable and stylish London aparthotel

I was so pleased with the room and the service of the staff. The room was decorated nicely with a comfy king bed and a nice double pull out bed. They left little snacks and drinks in the room for us which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful. My friend was staying in the same hotel in a different room and the staff assigned us rooms right next to each other when we requested that. Great value for London and nice location.

Good location and staff were friendly but the room was tired and grubby. Air con and more than half the lights didn't work. Windows rattled all night and you could hear constant banging around from the room upstairs. Good location for getting around but noisy area and windows were rubbish so you could hear people talking on the street outside. Typical London prices with very little quality.

Staff were friendly and visually the property is decorated nicely and is clean. However, the air on doesn’t work and the windows don’t open, the rooms are stifling. The toilet blocks and the shower didn’t drain. You can hear everything inside and outside the room. The remote controls don’t work even after the batteries were changed and there seemed to be tonnes of switches, for the life of me I have no idea what they were operating because I still couldn’t get the light to switch on above the bed.

Had two tables which was great if I needed to work or eat. Included all facilities including cutlery which was great.

Rude staff demanded I pay extra at check in because there was two of us not one. On their rules page it states “base rates are based on 2 people sharing” when I explained this to the rude receptionist she called me a liar and said “I think you will find it doesn’t say that” she was arguing with me in reception which was incredibly awkward and a terrible first impression. I also showed her that when you change your booking from 1 to 2 it doesn’t change the price at all but she demanded more money otherwise she would refuse to check us in. Clearly a scam to get more out of you when you book. Not that it’s even a cheap option to stay!
They must make lots out of this scam.
They should take off the rules page that the rates are for 2 people and make it clear that you will get charged more on check in. Only time I’ve ever experienced this and I am a platinum member on this website which means I book a lot of hotels each year.

It got worse from there. The photos are clearly very old or edited as the condition and cleanliness of the rooms is very poor.
We also hardly slept due to the noise from other rooms.

I’d avoid this place if I were you.

A disappointing stay:
Sensor light was faulty and switching on and off all night while we were in bed making it very hard to sleep; windows and doors need fixing - they all rattle loudly with the wind, the door handle to the bathroom fell off and also we had to make our own bed which was disappointing as we arrived in late at night tired and had booked for four people and only the bed for two people was made up, we had to make up the sofa bed ourselves.

We stayed for 2 nights here in Paddington apartments, the location is good as it was close to transport system around 5-7 minutes walk to bus stops, train station and Paddington central. The staff are really very friendly and accomodating to requests. However, the issues we found in the property is the toilet having molds and the toilet stinks, so we preferred not to shower on our 3 days stay in the apartment. The kitchen area also is not that safe because when we wash using the sink, the water splatters to the appliances nearby. The fridge also was not working. Also, one of the lights is flickering so we just turned it off.

The staff at both check in and check out were super lovely. The apartment was spacious and had lots of natural light which was nice. Unfortunately the condition of the unit was sub standard, with lots of wear and tear and questionable construction in places. The cleanliness was also not quite up to standard. The bed was super hard, and most of the lights in our unit we could not get to work. Overall there is lots of potential but they need to improve quite a bit.

Aircon went off completely around midnight leaving the room far too hot for sleeping (23 degrees) opened the window which helped temperature a little but the noise from the street then also impacted sleep

I had this with the hotel previously, owners are cheap and will turn off aircon.

I stayed at Paddington Apartments for one night. When booking on hotels.com, the room that appeared in the photos (while selecting which one I want to book) first didn’t match the same photo as the room I got in my email confirmation after booking. Upon arrival I found out that none of the rooms were the ones I was given. The bed was comfortable and there was enough towels as well as some free drinks and a few snacks. However, the cleanliness of the room wasn’t great, especially the bathroom, flooring and tiles all didn’t look clean enough. There were some free small toiletries but the soap dispenser in the bathroom only had a small amount of soap left. It was hard to open the old windows, the air in the room felt very stuffy, there were stains and cracks on the walls and overall the room just didn’t look as great as in the photos. The price was decent for the area but I have to say that next time I’d rather pay a bit more than coming back. I thought I found a hidden gem judging by how the accommodation appeared in photos - very clean, modern and with interesting design. But I have to admit I was disappointed. I did speak to the receptionist after checking in but she wasn’t able to offer me another room as they were fully booked.

Well situated property close to Paddington station. Apartment was comfortable and clean. One thing we noticed was the noise overnight outside..the windows weren’t very sound proof. I must admit this affected my sleep which is a pity as it was a good apartment for central London. It also would have been good to have more bedding for the sofa bed as three of us were staying and there was no sheet for the pull out bed. When we realised there would have been no one on reception. Overall good and it was an easy check in with good communication from the property.

An Initial communication with the team ahead of arrival was great.
When I got to the hotel there was a heat wave in London with soaring 26 C. The air conditioning was not working and to my surprise one of the radiators was ON ( shocking) The receptionist took no notice of my complaint stating it is Sunday:
It was horrible night. It was extremely hot despite it was cool night outside. I needed keep window open at night. The noise was unbearable. Huge disappointment despite clean room.

The location was excellent for our needs as it’s close to Paddington. The welcome was good and the property looked after our cases until we arrived around 5.30. The room was clean and tidy.
However there are a few negatives I must mention: for an ‘apartment’ not to even have spoon or stirrers for tea / coffee was to drop a star. The dribble of water into the sink was pathetic, good job the shower worked well but how do hotels always manage not to put a hook in a bathroom? Not to mention the lighting, why oh why to hotel rooms have such poor lighting. Second star dropped. Oh except for the one light by the door that did not have an off switch ( even when removing the power card). This was so annoying. Maybe a third star should go?

Extremely bad noise disturbance leading to next to no sleep and our trip being cut short and ruined due to exhaustion.

Paid for 3 quests and were catered for 2.

Informed the accommodation and have submitted a complaint to which I have just been ignored and fobbed off with.

No air con

All good apart from the fact air conditioning has been switched off so unavailable.

Room was hot and aside from opening windows (fairly noisy street) there is no way to cool the place.

Should not be advertised as air conditioned if the owners are going to decide to make it unavailable through winter.
