Wonderful stay in London.

This hotel was in a great location. It was walking distance to Paddington station, Hyde Park and Kensington Palace and lots of pubs and shops. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were what I expected, small clean everything we needed but no extras. We had a great stay and I would definitely stay there again.

It’s fine.

It was fine - I wasn’t expecting blankets and bedspreads but rather hoping for nice white duvets.
It was clean and tidy and the room was cleaned for our return each day, clean towels, beds made etc.
could look smarted with decor and carpet, but it was all fine really.
Shame we have to get our cups of tea downstairs and bring to the room, that was odd and I wondered if it’s ok health and safety wise…boiling water. But it was fine, honestly. A good base. Comfy beds.

Couple <30 years old travelling to London for a couple of days. The hotel was great as it offered parking (although limited), which I called ahead to confirm the availability of. It was very well priced for being so close to the city centre and everywhere in London was easily accessible. The room was basic and small but that was no issue for us as we were out all day. Good hot water supply even in peak times such as morning. We did not have the breakfast as we did not think the selection was enough for us and we preferred to go elsewhere.

We would absolutely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nayland, a clean hotel with friendly staff. Our only negative was that our room was in the basement and we were woken at 6 am by the cleaning staff and then we could hear all the goings on in the breakfast room. I stayed with one other person in a double bed room. It was clean and quiet. The rooms are outdated and some things like the carpet and curtains are a bit shabby. The light over the bed had a number of dead bugs in it.

The bathroom could use some sprucing, but felt clean. The showers are incredibly small. I am an average sized woman and I couldn’t bend down in the stall. If you are plus sized, I’d worry about being able to fit. The door didnt close all the way in the shower and made the entire bathroom very wet.

The toiletries are adequate for the price point but could have used more than a 3-in-1 and wafer soap. There is no air conditioner but it was not hot during our stay so it is moot. The breakfast is fine but if you’re a picky eater like me you may find it challenging. The staff is friendly and courteous. An okay budget pick, I would stay again.

Very clean and accessible to the paddington train. The one we rented are 2 twin beds just enough to occupy the whole space which is very small. The bathroom is small but very clean. No AC only fan but the weather is cool outside.. I am happy with place . I like the coffee and tea with hot water with a plate of cookies in the morning. I will go back to that place.

Compact room on lower floor. Very clean, towels replaced daily. Room convenient for breakfast room. Plenty of choice for continental breakfast, with toast and tea made to order by superb breakfast room staff. I stayed four nights, and after first morning, toast was served without asking. Definitely value for money! So convenient for Paddington station, with a variety of restaurants and shops within 5 minutes walk. Tourist shops generally cheaper than in other parts of London. Would recommend and will return.

We stayed for five nights and every day the room was cleaned and tidy and I was very happy with it, breakfast was good and all in all everything was good! Only one night we were woken up in the middle of the night because someone was chatting in the bar and it was very loud because the room wasn't soundproofed very well！The location of the hostel is very convenient, it is very close to paddington station, you can walk to it in five minutes, and it is also close to Hyde park, you can walk to it in ten minutes! If I go to London in the future I will stay there again!
