Really good location for Paddington - 5 minutes walk. Welcoming reception staff. Small bar area (which we didn't use). Room was plenty big enough for the amount of time we spent there - did have to shuffle round the bottom of the bed. Spotlessly clean bathroom and plenty of hot water. The only downside for me was the room was very hot. Tried to get the air con to work but it switched off after 5 minutes. So opened the window but obviously, you then have to put up with traffic noise. Would definitely stay here again - so easy to get around London and very good value for money.

The location of hotel was great! Close to a lot of restaurants and a five minute walk to Paddington station. A very short walk to one of the main subway stations. The staff were very friendly and they did have a free breakfast. The room was small and crammed but clean. However, the beds were hard as rocks. The floor would have been softer. Has to be one of the worst beds I’ve had at a hotel.

My room was quite grim. The carpet wasn't clean and had obviously not been hoovered around the edges for a long time. The curtains were plasticky and dust floated around the room. Breakfast was inedible so I didn't bother. White sliced bread, slab cheese with cheap sliced cheap meat is insulting. No fruit or anything at all worth eating. The proximity to Paddington is the only bonus but despite travelling to London often I certainly wouldn't stay here again.

The staff was excellent! I can’t not say enough about how wonderful the gentlemen at the front desk are.

The room had a lot of noise from the road and the walls are thin. A room next to us shutting the door echoed through our room.
The bathroom toilet paper holder was not attached to the wall. Issues with the safe. Hotel is dated and has a lot of garbage/mattresses in front.

Location next to to Paddington station is wonderful.

We enjoyed our second stay here. The staff were great, the included breakfast got us going in the morning. The hotel is minutes away from Paddington Station which we found very helpful.
There are lots of restaurants and some express grocery stores.
They have a small elevator which is helpful and air conditioning. We stayed in July so we really appreciated the air conditioning. We would stay again.

RUN from this hotel!! do not expect it to be a Days Inn as you know it. I can’t believe I paid over $250 a night for this dump. It’s a 100 plus year-old barely refurbished house with teeny tiny rooms. The air conditioning doesn’t work. The windows don’t close. You get one rough towel. There’s nothing other than hand soap. The rooms are 10 x 8 if that. The first room (which I refused to take Was down one floor then down three halls, past an open supply closet with mop and bucket hanging out and maybe 6 x 6 with a cot in it. Not even a Window.) I wouldn’t even walk in it. The staff was very unhelpful. Stay away from this place. Days Inn should be ashamed to have their name on this.

Staff at the front was awesome and always very friendly My only small complaint was the room wasn’t the cleanest (hair round the toilet , dust, etc) Otherwise we had a great stay!

The room was adequate though could do with a refurbish. Bathroom and linen clean but very dusty furniture and tea coffee unit and cup dirty. It was also infested with ants all over the tea station and carpet. Staff were helpful in finding me a new room. Breakfast was poor quality and breakfast member of staff either couldn’t speak English or was unhelpful. Grunted in response to question and had a face like thunder. The hotel was situated in a really good location, extremely close to Hyde Park. Room was a decent size beds were clean and comfortable but general cleanliness was questionable.
Staff were very attentive, helpful, and kind.
Breakfast was ok if you’re happy with a selection of bread (no rolls or pastries), cold boiled eggs, cheap cereal, yoghurt, cheese, ham or salami - that’s it in a nutshell.

I've stayed at many mid-range hotels in London, and this Days Inn was everything I look for. Clean, well-managed, free breakfast, and convenient to Paddington Station (both underground and rail). It's also a short walk to Hyde Park and a great jumping-off point for exploring London. I absolutely would stay here again. Highly recommended for low-maintenance travelers on a modest budget.

I had nothing but a positive and wonderful experience at the Days Inn here. The front desk staff members were so kind and courteous. They were able to accommodate my earlier check in on such short notice. Aside from the wonderful staff, the hotel is an affordable cost and in a good location for both things to do and for transportation purposes. The hotel is close to Paddington Station, a huge hub for multiple tube lines and if you’re traveling from LHR. My only comments would be that the rooms were a bit old and the complimentary breakfast wasn’t that great. Even though the room felt dated, the room itself was sufficient for my stay! I’d recommend to anyone looking for an affordable hotel in a good location

The location is amazing. There is a lift, And I liked the earlier check in. Everything else was disappointing. The doors are made such that you have to push them to shut all the way, so you've got neighbors slamming doors all the time. The walls are paper thin. I heard every word of the arguing couple nextdoor to me. The coverlet was thin -- I actually got cold (and this was end of April) and when I tried to turn on the heat in the room, it blew cold air. I wrapped myself in my coat and went back to bed. The springs in the bed creaked. And the icing on the cake: Cold shower in the morning.

Great 2 night stay, very friendly and helpful staff, great to find affordable parking in central London, outside the conjestion charge area. Triple Room, but only me in it, very comfortable, good bed, pillows a bit flat, bathroom small but well appointed. Shower head was broken and door handle loose - reported. Very Very clean in all aspects. Good tv, tea and coffee making facilities, Openable window onto internal courtyard. Lighting ok. Some sockets. Quiet as at the back on ground floor to far end. Good breakfast downstairs in basement. Good blackout curtains. Very close to Paddington Station and Elizabeth Line - 3 minute walk.

Staff were wonderfully understanding and helpful when we were stranded during the Heathrow fire. Room was comfortable enough but could use a deep cleaning and some minor maintenance (window difficult to open, blind broken) and adding fans in the room would be a major improvement. I booked the hotel because the website stated the property has air conditioning- it does not and the weather was unseasonably warm. Breakfast was included which was a big bonus, but is very basic and would be a challenge for a stay longer than 2 days. Fantastic location for our needs and would stay again in the colder months.

Great Location!!

We had a comfortable stay at Days Inn Hyde Park. Staff was welcoming and friendly! They didn't seem to mind me asking for ice bucket everyday ;-)
Breakfast was way more than I expected. Toaster, wide selection of breads and spreads, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, meats and cheeses, juice, cappuccino/coffee instant machine. You don't need to go out and find a restaurant. You can have an excellent start with breakfast here.
The room was small and dark. But the cabinets make it easy to store your clothing and suitcases. Bed was comfortable and we slept well.
I also want to thank the previous reviews that steered us to use the express train from Heathrow. This saved us not only valuable time, but it was super convenient and after a long flight you just want to reach your hotel and crash. The hotel is in walking distance from Paddington station. As long as you are walking in the correct direction ;-)

The hotel is well located near the Paddington station. It's also located near Hyde Park (the North side of the park). However, the room was very small. The beds were not very good, but we were so tired every day that it did not matter. The breakfast (complimentary) was not very good. Don't get the hotel if you think breakfast is the tie-breaker with another hotel. Still, for the cost (in June), it was not bad. But don't look at the hotel as a place to relax and spend time. It's to take a shower, sleep and catch the train/tube/Elizabeth line and go into London....

Tight quarters, hard beds

We stayed here overnight to be close to Paddington for the Heathrow Express. I booked the triple room since it was my wife and daughter and me.

The service and cleanliness of the room was great. No issues.

However, the room was very small and there was not enough space for three people in this room. Even two adults and a 5 year old had not enough space. I’ve stayed in enough European hotels to know to expect smaller rooms but for a room meant to house three people, this is a very small footprint.

Additionally the room is on the lower floor below the lobby so the wi-fi signal is very poor. My phone couldn’t connect although my wife’s did. Even our cellular connections were hampered by the location.

Finally I’d note the bed was perhaps the most uncomfortable one we slept on during our 3 weeks in Europe.

Overall, I would say this was a fine stay for one night and for our travel purposes but I would not suggest staying here for a longer trip. The price paid was also rather high but most similar hotels near Hyde Park are overpriced too.

So nice we had to stay twice!

The front desk guys were very kind and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and the room was quiet considering we were so close to the road. The location is super convenient, just a couple blocks from Padding Station and Hyde Park. Our bed was on the stiff side and the pillows could have been fluffier but we were able to sleep ok. We will be back and soon because we booked another night next week!

The hotel is conveniently located near Paddington Station, which has a train line to Heathrow Airport for 25 British Pounds and other lines on the London subway system. My one minor issue was that I could hear the street noise from my room, but the rooms were clean and my package came with a continental breakfast.
