its a small hotel just opposite the paddington train station it’s very convenient and the staffs were very nice and polite the room where we stayed it was a bit small but the beds were very comfortable and clean the toilet was spotless great thanks from MrDiep

Staff was alright, we had an instance where the fire alarm went off at 3:45am. We weren’t sure if it was a drill or if we actually needed to evacuate. When we went downstairs to ask the staff, he was asleep on the coach and said it was due to someone smoking setting off the alarm. It would have been nice not to go down all the stairs to figure out what the problem was, and not to have been awoken in the middle of the night by an alarm, and even nicer if they had come around and checked on us/let us know. Otherwise, the other staff we saw and spoke to were super friendly and very helpful.
I also found the shower door didn’t shut very well so water was sprayed all over the floor afterwards, but it was still very manageable. And the shower kept changing temperatures without me touching it which was slightly annoying but not a huge deal, just all some things to note.
Otherwise we had a great trip, and the hotel was in the perfect location!

Like many other reviewers have pointed out this is a basic hotel with no lifts (elevators), crammed corridors and small rooms. I do not recommend it for long stays with a family. It suited me fine as I had a flight from LHR the next day and wanted to be close to Paddington station to catch Heathrow express. There are plenty of eating options in the area but I did not take advantage of that. The room is small in all aspects including the bathroom. The shower was fine with plenty of hot water and price cannot be beaten

We stayed in room 106, the noise from the floor above from 3am till 4am was that loud it woke us all up , it was like people were moving furniture around. I ended up getting dressed to go to reception to see what was going on , the noise finally stopped for 4 hours the started again at 8am. Needless to say we were all shattered the next day. If you are to book make sure you ask for a top floor room

Dont go near this gotel. Its not what you aee advertised on hotels.com. the rooms are disgusting i wouldnt leave a dog to stay there. Way to small with soecially built snaller than small doubke beds to fit s snall space, ok fo r solo traveler not for couple.im disabled andcwasvexoected to bring own luggage and getbup stairs to 3rd floor. There was no service. I left. The room was in the basement. We had to carry luggage down a steep and narrow staircase. No one offered to help. The room was musty smelling. I knew it would be small, as I have been to London many times, but I did not expect a damp cell. It was horrible. I carried all the luggage back up the steps and found another place. I would really like a refund. I can’t believe this place would be on your site. It was a room in the basement. I will never trust your site again.

Really easy walk to/ from Paddington station. Good size family room, small shower room but it did the job and was a perfect base for an overnight stop. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and offered a spot to park our pushchair overnight on the ground floor as we were several floors up and I don't think there is a lift.

Quilts smelt a little fusty. When you rang the tap it then brought a foul drain smelling stink in to the room from the bathroom. Furniture, doors all look rotten wood. The outside of the hotel looks great but the rooms need a very big makeover!

The room was on the 3rd floor (4th in American parlance) - no lift/elevator. The room was compact to say the least with nowhere to store or hang clothes - no dresser, closet or wardrobe. I ended up placing my open suitcase on a small desk. The bathroom was much too small. To get to the toilet I had to turn sideways to pass the sink. The shower was miniscule, the shower head provided lots of water directly overhead. Turning around required shuffling, there wasn't room to \"step\". Overall not a pleasant experience. I wouldn't stay here again.

The only plus is its accessibility to Paddington Station. Everything else was the cheapest possible including the little round shrink-wrapped soaps that you can't open, and shampoo and body wash in little plastic packets that you can't open. Cheaper than the worst Motel 6 or Days Inn in the United States. Our bathroom floor was so sticky that we had to ask for extra towels to use as carpet so our feet wouldn't stick to the floor. And WORST of all, there is no top sheet on the beds, only dirty bedspreads on both beds that hundreds of previous guests have slept with over them before your arrival. Totally disgusting. And at an exorbitant price that cannot be justified even in London. Staff was friendly, but no breakfast included at nearly $200 per night, and no elevator. Lots of loud drunks on the street outside once the bars close. A terrible and disgusting 2-night stay, will never return.

Had a one night stay with child so we had a 2 twin bed room. I bookedthis as it was affordable and near Paddington station. We werent looking for luxury. The hotel is basic but clean. Beds were hard but sleepable for us. Room was quiet and clean. Provided tea/coffee, although sink was small so we filled from the shower head! We were at the top of the stairs (there is no lift and we knew this going in) roughly 4 flights with suitcases. They did store our suitcases after check out which was appreciated. Centrally located just a few blocks from the station.

When I walked into the property with my 3 kids, I realized that the pics in the web site are not really a true description of the place. The guy in the front desk gave me a key and we had to walk 3 stories in a tiny stairs. When open the door the place was bare minimum. Plug sockets and lights didn't work, fan was ineffective, floor was filthy and sinking in one spot. Bathroom was very shabby. There was only one bedside table and lamp. TV placed very high to one side. Not good value for money. For the amount paid it looked and felt very cheap. I would have expected a much better room for that price.

Location was spot on about a 2 minute walk to Paddington station. Quiet area, couldn’t fault it. There were 2 issues, 1 was the fact we were on the top floor (76 steps!) and the air conditioning unit was noisy when it was the heatwave. Whatever you do, DO NOT stay at this hotel. I booked this hotel after looking at the photos online and when I got to my room, the room looked nothing like the photos online. The room was gross and filthy with a beat up headboard, dirty sheets and a disgusting shower. After assessing the room, I went out to the man working the front desk to show him the condition of the room and how unlike the advertised photos it was. He was incredibly rude and dismissive telling me I should be grateful for the room and not listening to my complaints. I requested a refund which he told me I’d never receive. He did not care to hear about my concerns and did not provide any customer service. I had to last minute book a different hotel, incurring more expenses since this one was not clean to stay at. I have attached what was advertised online and what my room actually looked like.
