The staff at The Tudor Court Hotel are amazing. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and very helpful.
The hotel is in a great location, very accessible by train and bus. You have to consider is located in an older building which makes it look a little older.
The rooms are comfortable but small, specially the bathroom. It feels like a plane bathroom.
As mentioned by the property there is no elevator and the stairs are very heavy to climb, especially to the third floor. Someone older or with some mobility problem will definitely have a hard time going up the stairs.
Having said that I would definitely consider staying again just because of the staff and location.

Highly recommend !! The location is 3min walk from Paddington station with lots of food spots , hop on/hop off bus & souvenir stores around . The rooms are London size however it’s clean & equiped with everything you need. The main stand out for our stay was the amazing staff , the young lady at reception (sorry forgot her name but know it starts with a P) was so knowledgeable about the area & so welcoming as well as Mehdi who was a superstar in carrying our suitcases & Hakeem who was so helpful - they truly care about your experience .

I really liked the location of the hotel. A block or two from Paddington station. The hotel itself is older, quaint, clean, and the staff is extremely helpful and nice. The room is small and tidy, but who spends a lot of time there anyway? The bathroom is very, very small... almost airplane-bathroom-like. The shower is very small. I could fit, but my husband, who is 6 feet, about 165lbs, had a difficult time. I would recommend this hotel for a night or two. We spent one night because we were flying out the next morning and it was an easy trek to Paddington to catch the Heathrow Express. There is a great pub, The Dickens Tavern, right around the corner from the hotel that is excellent!!

The hotel was clean, the rooms are very very very small, the bath room sink had to be the worlds smallest. The outlet on the walls did not work, I did notify staff, answer was there is no maintenance on the weekends. Paid for air conditioner we would leave the rooms with air on so when we came it would be cool, housekeeping turned it off everyday. So paid for nothing basically. Would I stay here again? No.

I stayed one night at the Tudor Court primarily for its close proximity to Paddington Station. The location was very convenient and the street is pretty with a little park that runs the entire length of the block. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby, and a few lovely blocks' walk to Kensington Gardens. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. I liked that someone was there at all times. My room was up 4 flights of somewhat narrow stairs but the front desk staff are happy to carry any luggage up/down if needed. The room was very clean and modern but I will say it is the smallest room I have ever stayed in, and I'm not someone who needs much space. There was not enough floor space to place a small open suitcase. There was a luggage rack which I used but it prevented the room door from fully opening. I definitely would not want to share a room that size with another person, as I used half of the bed for my laptop and a few other items. It was uncomfortably small for me, even for a very short stay, but the hotel has truly done everything possible to make the most of the space available in both the room and the bathroom. I did get a little warm and tried to turn on the air conditioner/fan but no luck - I read in another review that it costs extra(?) but I didn't inquire. In summary, if you don't mind a very small room, it's a great spot for a couple of nights.

My family had a great experience on our recent trip to London and our stay at Tudor Court Hotel. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel was beautiful and well equipped. It had a charming atmosphere was very clean and the amenities worked well. Especially appreciated the showers and hot water. Beds were comfortable and the location of the hotel near Paddington station was a plus for our travel plans around the city and had great restaurants near by! Highly recommend if you are singles or friend groups looking for accommodations!

I stayed in a single room which was on the 4th floor, and accessed by very steep and narrow stairs. The receptionist carried my suitcase up to the room, which was appreciated as it would have been a huge struggle otherwise. The room was clean but tiny, not suitable for someone of above average size. The air-conditioning didn't work and the window wouldn't open, so it was uncomfortably warm overnight. The fire alarm was triggered by another guest opening their room door whilst taking a shower at 5.19am, which was a huge fright as the only fire escape route was back down the narrow staircase. Overall, very convenient for Paddington Station, and relatively low cost accommodation for London.

The rooms were quite small, and the present near the train station and there was constant rumbling until midnight to get it in the morning. New, the front desk suddenly charged. Even though the room was ready before 3 o’clock, I had extra into it early. And the check was 10:00 AM, with a rather substantial surcharge if I wanted to stay beyond 10 o’clock.

The hotel is beautiful from the outside, but there really isn't much of a lobby and no elevator. The staff was kind enough to carry our luggage up to our room and bring down, but the stairs on the second part of the climb up were very steep and narrow. The room itself served its purpose but it was so small that it was difficult for 2 people to function. The bathroom was the tiniest I have ever seen. A large person would not be able to use the bathroom. The location was great close to Paddington Station and restaurants. It is easy to get back to and there is a lovely park right in front of the hotel. I realize European hotel rooms are small. Had I known just how small this room was, I would have booked another room.

There are many great places to eat and some great pubs nearby. I have been to the Paddington area many times in the past, but staying in the area this time, I was really surprised how much there is available so close to the hotel.
The room was on the 3rd floor and was quiet which we appreciated. There was the occasional rumbling noise, presumably from the underground system being so close, however it wasn't an issue at all and was strangely 'soothing' and if anything helped get a good sleep.
The room was very small, however it had everything which we needed and was very well designed to make the most of the limited space, it even included a good sized, quiet mini-fridge.
One of our medium sized suitcases was placed on the provided luggage rack, but the 2nd suitcase had to go on the floor, between the outside wall and the bed. This was a little tricky having to step over the suitcase to get into bed. There was no elevator, but I think this is typical with these Victorian properties. The staff carried our suitcases to our room when we checked in, and carried them down when we checked out.
The only negative is that there was no a/c, however there was what looked like a new unit on the wall but they wanted us to pay 10 pounds a day extra!
The staff were great, always available and keen to help in any way they could. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
There are many great places to eat and some great pubs nearby. I have been to the Paddington area many times in the past, but staying in the area this time, I was really surprised how much there is available so close to the hotel.
The room was on the 3rd floor and was quiet which we appreciated. There was the occasional rumbling noise, presumably from the underground system being so close, however it wasn't an issue at all and was strangely 'soothing' and if anything helped get a good sleep.
The room was very small, however it had everything which we needed and was very well designed to make the most of the limited space, it even included a good sized, quiet mini-fridge.
One of our medium sized suitcases was placed on the provided luggage rack, but the 2nd suitcase had to go on the floor, between the outside wall and the bed. This was a little tricky having to step over the suitcase to get into bed. There was no elevator, but I think this is typical with these Victorian properties. The staff carried our suitcases to our room when we checked in, and carried them down when we checked out.
The only negative is that there was no a/c, however there was what looked like a new unit on the wall but they wanted us to pay 10 pounds a day extra!
The staff were great, always available and keen to help in any way they could. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed three different times and had three different rooms. All were comfortable. The bathrooms varied in size from tiny to small. During a 12-day rail trip around England, this was one of eight stops along the way. I prioritized locations within short walks from a train station throughout the trip, and this property fit that plan.
I chose this particular property because I've stayed at it before, and its proximity to Paddington Station makes it very easy to get to from England Rail Stations, and to the airport via the Elizabeth Line.
The room is on the small side, but very clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, excellent value.
NOTE: You will feel Tube traffic passing underneath the property at regular intervals. Although it never interrupted our sleep, it should be something to be aware of if you're sensitive to outside disturbances at night.

Booked a Superior Double Room, was provided a room on ground floor under the stairwell overhang. Room looked nothing like the photos provided on the travel website. Description indicated a city view and highlighted “sound proofed rooms” but outside the window was a concrete bunker with HVAC compressor and plastic flowers along with Pidgeon’s cooing all night. Even loud “white” noise was not enough to cover the sounds of underground trains all night. Bathroom was the size found on a jetliner. On the positive side, location was great, close to Paddington and restaurants. Bed and linens were quite comfortable and clean. I would stay here again for only a single night in a pinch, but be aware of what you are getting and consider earplugs.

As a solo traveller, I LOVED this hotel. The rooms are very small, and there is no elevator, which was very hard on my knees as I was on the third floor, but the location and staff made it all worthwhile. Look, this is not a super fancy hotel - it is where you stay when you know you are going to be exploring London for 10-12 hours each day and just need a place to sleep and wash up. It is located a very short block from Paddington Station which made it ideal for getting anywhere I wanted to go. The restaurants around the area were all delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were so kind and helpful, they truly made my stay a wonderful experience, and it is definitely where I will be staying when I return.

We were able to slightly hear and feel the movements of the train because of the close proximity but it was very very faint and personally a bit soothing. We booked a superior double room for the weekend for my partners 50th birthday. I’d emailed to ask if something nice could be put into the room a week prior to our arrival. Just before we were due to arrive I got a response sending me a link to tourist attractions which wasn’t the Prosecco and chocolates I’d asked to pay extra for. We were early (arrived 1pm) so the hotel took our bags and said as the room was ready they’d take our bags straight there for us. If we wanted to check in and go to the room there would be a £20 charge so we said we’d go out and come back later.
When we returned that evening we were given our room number and went to the room to find someone else’s things were already unpacked in there. It looked a spacious room but we went straight out and back down to reception. We should have been given the room next door. Our room was tiny, with a. En-suite built into the room with a false ceiling. You could see the original ceiling over the top of it. The toilet was installed at an angle to fit it in and my partner couldn’t use it with the double doors closed. The basin was also tiny but the shower full sized and very powerful. We were given one pillow each. We didn’t sleep well between the pillow, the constant light coming on in the tallest illuminating our room and the sound from other rooms, even their running water and toilet flushing. On the positive side the staff were very friendly, it was really clean and in a great location but we wouldn’t stay again

First night we were put in the ground floor room. Whole night couldn't sleep as the ground shook every time the underground trains moved.
Second night we were moved into a first floor room and new problem awaiting, the stench of sewage pipes permeate the room as soon as we opened the bathroom door. We complained to the front desk but they simply turned on the extractor fan, which only helped a little. Obviously the noise of the extractor fan is bad too, and we spent whole night feeling like we have fell into a sewage!
