The water came out mostly cold in the shower and the drain was closed so the water went down slowly. Was only there for one night place was clean the lady that was at the reception at night was friendly.

We had a fun stay. Hotel staff excellent. The hotel itself is okay, but nothing special. The setup of the room is a little odd, with the shower beside the bed, seperate from the toilet. Convenient for local bars and restaurants.

I can honestly say I enjoyed my stay at Era Hotel. The hosts were a beautiful couple who welcomed me warmly. They were so willing to help me find dining options, car service and even offered to make me breakfast for my birthday. I absolutely loved my stay! Highly recommend 10 out of 10! Thank you guys for helping my first solo trip a memorable one. And the traditional Mexican Breakfast was delicious!!!

Location very close to main avenue, walking distance. Bikes available to guest. Staff very courteous, friendly and helpful. In the room.. No TV, No phone. Hotel is 2 level, no elevator. Restaurant is currently closed, continental breakfast is available, but later in the morning. It is a very safe and secure facility. Front door locked and monitored 24 hrs. Iron must be requested at front office. Very small fridge in the room. The pool is very well maintained, clean and relaxing atmosphere. We were in and out, therefore it was ok for having a place to sleep. The neighborhood is a bit shabby but safe to walk around, small businesses around corner worth exploring. Pharmacy on corner to get some essentials but opens later in the morning. and taco truck on corner as well. Lots of construction going on in the area. No noise, however power was affected 1 day of our stay. This is not meant to be a negative review, more so realistic information. Staff is highly accommodating and nice. Loved the home feeling, were treated like family not guest. I will consider returning, if minor adjustments. I need a TV to keep up with the world, or just for weather update. Thank you Era team

Property was great and the staff were extremely responsive and helpful. The room is as advertised. The area is great to have access to restaurants and bars but not be in the main tourist area of Tulum on the Main Street. A lot of construction is happening everywhere so this could change quickly. Hotel let us spend the whole day by the pool while we waited for our evening flight which was nice. Breakfast was simple but good and included. Hotel is extremely secure and felt safe.

Only minor issue, shower is in the room with only 3 sides stopping water from coming out so the floor gets a bit wet.

Otherwise would recommend as a hotel option.

Staying at Era Hotel... is like staying at your favourite Aunt's home!

We were warmly welcomed curb-side with open arms (literally) and a beautiful smile by a vibrant woman named \"Anola\". Her energy and passion radiated as soon as we laid eyes on her.

Our room was great! It was clean and well maintained. We loved the lush garden and pool. Mario the gentleman who works overnight, was very helpful.

The breakfast which was included with our stay... was WOW! Super fresh, delicious, fast and instagram worthy! lol

The location of the hotel is perfect. It's quiet; yet walkable with several cafe's, shops and restaurants tucked away just around the corner.

Taxi's in Tulum are beyond expensive ($30 USD for 4.5km) So we rented an ATV to get around. It was the best idea and perfect to explore the area and enjoy the beach.

Our airport driver Antonio was great and professional. He went above and beyond to assure that we were well taken care of and were collected and returned to the airport with ample time.

*PRO TIP: As the shuttle service is outsourced. Remember to make sure you have USD cash on you to pay the airport shuttle driver! To avoid any unnecessary stress.

I will be recommending Era Tulum to all of my friends and family. We will certainly be back again soon!

Era Hotel is private and quiet. The staff are very nice, property is clean. We asked for an additional pillow twice and told that they didn't have any. Also, to arrange transportation to/from the airport you have to communicate with the hotel prior and pay additional. We were to have VIP benefits but did not receive whatever those were supposed to be. Very pretty hotel and the breakfast restaurant was great

The staff is very helpful with answering all our questions and they have great customer service. I feel very safe in this property by having a staff open the main door to come in the hotel. The pool area is very clean and quiet. It's a great location near eateries and shopping.

A gem in Tulum!!! I am so glad we found this small, quaint, beautiful hotel for a first time trip to Tulum. We loved the location because it was not at the beach, nor in the middle of the town. It was off a side road which was perfect for us! The staff was not only impeccable, but Anola almost treated us like family (she convinced us that 2PM was not the time of day to go walking since it was so hot :)). Gabriel, Wilber, Erick and Mario...all staff members made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed! The rooms are minimalistic but perfect with a boho vibe and nice private balcony. The onsite spa is beyond amazing as was the onsite restaurant that provided breakfast with your stay (large portions) and lunch and dinner for purchase. We arrived late afternoon the first day and Gabriel made us fabulous drinks and dinner (he suggested the shrimp tacos and I am glad he did!!). The front desk is available 24/7 to help with taxis, recommendations, wine glasses, etc. We simply could not have asked for more!!

We had a lovely stay at Era. The room was spacious and so was the bed. The only thing missing in the room was maybe a coffee machine.
Service was excellent, we had a lot of help finding taxis and getting recommendations for our cenote visits :)
I would recommend !

We stayed at ERA over NYE for our honeymoon. It was a beautiful hotel in a very hip, trendy area with lots of good restaurants within walking distance (Aguachiles is a 10 min walk). It has a modern look while staying authentic and really captures those Tulum vibes. The restaurant offers delicious food and drinks. Having breakfast included was a really convenient way to start the day. Their massages are amazing and I would highly recommend visiting the spa during your stay. Lastly, the staff. Anola, Gabriella, Eric, and the other staff went above and beyond to make our vacation perfect. When my partner fell ill, their staff got a doctor to the hotel to help her immediately and kept checking on us to make sure we were ok. I cannot explain how grateful I am to them for all of their help. We would definitely consider staying at ERA again when we visit Tulum in the future.

Really nice boutique hotel. Located off the downtown, so very quiet and less touristy. Price is very fair and only about 12-15 min drive or 30 min bike ride to the strip. We had continental breakfast included in our price, and everything we could choose from was great. The best part is how friendly and accommodating the hotel staff was. Definitely recommend this place.

Is an amazing quiet classy relaxing place to enjoy ur stay a nice spa a very clean pool a nice restaurant on the premises serving breakfast lunch and diner . We were very impressed gave us a bottle of champagne and decorated the room for our honor week . Way better than the super expensive resorts we have ever been. We coming back

This was truly the best hotel experience of my life. Era was incredibly clean and beautiful and the staff was so welcoming and helpful. I love how they burn incense all day. The room was great and the breakfast was delicious. And the spa experience is an absolute must! My husband and I did the Ritual Sense Moon Experience and I would absolutely do it again. I really hope to go back to Era!

The perfect place to get away from the craziness of the hotel zone but close enough when you need to let loose a little. Small and beautifully landscaped and Copal fills the air many times a day. Anola & Jorge are a joy, laid back but care deeply about your stay and Carlos gives excellent service in the on-site Restuarant. It’s a little unorthodox, but that’s what I loved about it... parking is 3 spaces (total) but there are only 9 rooms... stay here!! You’ll love it :)

The Era Hotel is a very nice hotel .. the staff is really nice and the complimentary breakfast is ok .. They let you rent bikes for free which is nice to stroll around in Tulum.. They don’t really have a night life at the hotel so it’s definitely really quiet .You would have to get a taxi if u want to go anywhere .. The rooms don’t have tv’s and the shower doesn’t have a door which is random .. overall the hotel is an ok hotel if u just need a place to stay ..

Our stay at Era Hotel was perfect. From the second we walked in, the staff was extremely friendly, inviting and attentive. They asked if we were celebrating an occasion, in which we actually happened to be celebrating my birthday and our engagement! The next day, while we were out the staff surprised us by putting balloons, flowers, champagne and rose petals in our room! We were floored! How amazing is this! Such a wonderful and emotional surprise to return to after a day out in Tulum! Breakfast was included and the menu had a good amount of choices and the food was good. You also get coffee AND juice. The facilities were clean and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. They also offer spa services however I wasn’t able to try them out Bc we were only in Tulum for 2 days. And of course, Free parking and wifi is a plus. They also burned copal (incense) everyday which I loved. Overall 10/10. I will Definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know.

Era Hotel is a must visit, all of their staff is so friendly and helpful. Their property was sooo beautiful in every place you looked and you are truly able to get the Tulum jungle vibes at this hotel. Their prices are amazing plus it's a fairly small hotel so you feel like vip which is pretty cool. They have a restaurant right next door to the They have bikes that you can rent for free and they offer to get you a taxi which is helpful and makes you feel safe. They also lock the main gate/door at night which made us feel really safe a night. We wish we had more time to enjoy the full hotel snd amenities but we will definitely be back again.

Place was great overall. Would return if available. Great service from treats upon arrival to celebrate a birthday, giving recommendations on things to do, setting up, etc. and very helpful in preparing and getting through hurricane we experienced while there. Boutique hotel with cafe that is only open a few hours most days and a shared pool with another hotel across. We did not utilize the spa services so cannot comment about that. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. My ONLY complaint is housekeeping not wearing a mask while cleaning rooms. Wish they had more areas to lounge whether poolside or in room. Outside of that, private room, comfy bed with good wifi and hot water. Location is good, there are a few smaller shops, restaurants and laundry nearby and you are about a 7-9 min drive from the main action or 15-2- min bike ride.

Our stay at ERA was amazing! This hotel is truly a hidden gem. Alex and the other staff provided exceptional service around the clock and I am so thankful for them. The staff decorated for my birthday, called a taxi each time one was needed, provided recommendations for the area, and so much more! Biking is a popular mode of transportation in Tulum and the hotel does provide free bike rentals to its guests. We did not patron the café nor use the spa facilities but they are available for guests as well.
Wonderful experience, beautiful property, fantastic service!

Alex, Anola and Jose were amazing! Provided excellent service, making my stay even better. The hotel is extremely nice! The best part is the shower! It’s wonderful. I enjoyed my stay. This is not a paid review! I actually stayed at the hotel and enjoyed every single moment. I was provided ideas for places to go and Jose even orders food for me..

You will be missing out if you do not visit this hotel while in Tulum. I will definitely be returning.

The hotel is on the outskirts of Tulum. The hotel offers bikes for free which is great. A bike ride to the city center is about 15min. to the public beach 35-40min. The room is minimalistic and very stylish. Bed comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included at a cute cafe right by the hotel with exquisite breakfast choices (no fresh fruits, no vegan options☹️). Right across from the balcony (pool in between) is a private apartment building where you look right into another apartment and vice versa. It is a quiet street but out of the 3 nights I stayed there I had to nights of some party going on close by (way until after midnight). Earplugs helped a little Maybe bad luck. Overall I had a great time there.

This hotel is located in an area of Tulum that is soon to be a thriving addition to the town.

The hotel itself has about 6 rooms and a big pool.
The spa has just opened, I didn't try it out though.

Our stay was great, the staff were very welcoming and answered all our questions about the area and getting around. It's a bit quiet this way, so unless you can figure out how to order a taxi via WhatsApp, the 24 hour reception can book it for you, just make sure you have the hotel marked on a map for the return journey.

The rooms are perfect for couples, the bed was very comfortable and the room itself was cleaned thoroughly everyday.
There is no t.v, but not an issue as the wifi was consistent.

There were also bikes that were complimentary with the stay, so it was a great to be able to ride to the cafes nearby.

The ride to the beach took about 30 minutes, it may take more experienced riders less time, but as we were just figuring out traffic and weaving through cars, it took us a while.
The Mia beach club that the hotel recommends is a really nice way to spend the day, with beds on the beach and prompt service while watching the beautiful Tulum beach.
There are 2 beautiful Cenotes, about 10 minutes away on a bike. I highly recommend.

The cafe next door provides a limited breakfast, which is nice, although you may need more food depending on your appetite.

I was unsatisfied with my stay. I was told by the hotel the location was close to the beach and it wasn’t.... it was about 30-45 mins away. The room had a horrible smell everyday from the plumbing system. I spoke to the lady at the front desk about the smell and how my shower wasn’t clean and she denied it and made me feel I was wrong. I bought candles for the room so I can better sleep with the smell because the hotel didn’t want to help. I also brought a small speaker, mini tea kettle and cups to better feel at home because the hotel didn’t provide. No full length mirror in the room so I had to improvise with taking the wall mirror to the floor. Last I bought a pricey lunch to go and left it in my room for an hour to head to yoga and the maids ended up throwing it out in garbage. I was pretty upset and spoke to the female front desk person and told her what happened and she said she would reimburse me for the hotels mistake. The last day during check out I asked to be reimbursed and she said she can’t help me and that the bottle of wine they gave me for my trouble is enough. Overall I was left so disappointed by the lack of service I received from the female associate. I understand the hotel is new and still working out the flow of things and I was willing to over look a few things. The customer service by female associate was by far the worst I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel

My expectations were beyond met. The hotel helped us set up transportation to & from the hotel ($200 round trip from Cancun Intl in a Tahoe vehicle) & the process was very smooth. Era's staff were extremely pleasant & the office is open 24 hours for any help you may need. We took the bikes out every single day for activities, just to roam the town, & food. The restaurant had very good fries & app's but they closed at 3, which was fine because the town was less than a 5 min bike ride away. Taxi's are everywhere so if a bike ride is too much, you can easily get around. My boyfriend & I are planning to return soon because this was one of the best experiences we've ever encountered. Thank you Era!

Very beautiful property. I loved returning to my room and smelling the nice crisp scent. They used a type of natural essential oil in the room. The property was peaceful and quiet. I enjoyed returning ro unwind and sitting on my balcony.

Alex and the staff were amazing, all the time welcoming and answering for any question i had. gave me recommendations for where to travel, buy, eat...the fact that you could borrow the bicycle is also very nice.the only thing that currently missing is breakfast.
