I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the grounds were very clean and very well upkept. The swimming pool is one of the biggest I’ve seen and very nice to relax by. The room was also very nice with the small indoor plunge pool.

The spa pool in the room is cold, unfortunely we did not enjoy the pool at all during the stay because it wasnt warm water, although we did use the hot jacouzi out side, but since we paid for the room in the pool and didnt use it at all it was a little upsetting and it was also dirty. Another thing i wish it was an all inclusive for the price we paid almost $2,000 for our stay and no food included. That was a bummer. Other than that i will say it a very nice hotel. They kept our room clean, staff was lovely, very kind, and they always made sure to come around to ask if we needed anything.

I want to start by saying that the space is divine and serene. The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms are exactly as they appear online. The cute little kitties were an added bonus! Overall, we enjoyed the vibes and the space, great for photos and relaxing. The food at the restaurant was exceptional, and we especially loved the desserts. There were taxis waiting right out front, which was convenient- expensive but convenient. (if you are looking to use InDrive, they will not want to pick you up from this location) With that being said, I did have expectations that were not met with this being a Michelin key winner. The pool in the rooms is really more for the vibe, its freezing and had a strange film on the surface. I wanted to get in so bad, and I did, once. But only to say I had. There was nothing really included besides morning weekday activities like yoga/Pilates, which was disappointing for the price. There didn't seem to be enough staff to keep up with cleaning the pool, so there was a lot of foliage floating about. The hot tub, which is where we made tons of friends and spent a better deal of time while at the hotel, was maybe 5 degrees warmer than the pool. Lastly, the showers did get really hot, but ran out of warm water quickly- enough time to wash and rinse, but nothing extra. I think I expected more bang for my buck and a little bit of a different experience. At the end of the day, we had THE BEST honeymoon and enjoyed our stay at Hotel Milam.

My stay at Milam was great. Quiet and relaxing. The food and service is excellent. The staff was very accommodating. At one point I had misplaced my wallet and they went as far as checking the security cameras to see what I did with it when I finished my breakfast. They confirmed I put it in a certain pocket which helped me find it. I would definitely recommend this place.

Upon arrival of the bag handling guys wrote on my suitcase accidentally with pen and I got upset because he just damaged my new Beis suitcase. And when I made a big deal, they changed me from room 16 to room 8…. Whatever that means.
When I checked into the room, the light behind the headboard didn’t work, the nightstand lamps didn’t work- one of them, shocked me. The pool lights didn’t work at night time and neither did the led strip around the floor. And neither did the outside lights work in the front porch or the tree lights. When I went to go, ask them if they could get them to work Rocardo at the desk said that none of them are supposed to turn on or work and I told him that was the reason why I booked the room- So that I could use the pool at night. As I’m browsing Instagram, I see that other people and a friend who just checked in also have the lights on in their rooms that I was told aren’t an amenity that are supposed to turn on that it was just for the photos for “promotional purposes.” Weird vibes.

Jay was so accommodating and helpful with booking transportation and making reservations! Room service was amazing and quick as well! I love enjoying the bar and the service was excellent. This is hotel is beautiful and healing at the same time. The food was amazing, the drinks were on point, and the staff were GREAT! There’s only a few things I’ll like them to consider adjusting. The pool inside of the room should be heated, and the outdoors shower door should be concealed a lot better to prevent outside bugs from coming in. Outside of that, everything else is on point.

This hotel is magnificent. So clean and well maintained. The room was extraordinary. Never experienced a hotel room with a pool in it. The bar tender Thomas has experience with making good drinks. The restaurant Samsara was great. The food options were excellent and the service was very good. Their coffee every morning was amazing. I love the long pool that stretches from the front to the back of the hotel. Pool guy maintained the pool clean from leaves and bugs. They all have a spa, yoga, ice bath, and sound healing on site.

So be very mindful of transportation from them

I can’t say enough great things about my 6 days at Hotel Milam. I stayed in one of the private residences with friends. It was the perfect combination of privacy and top notch attentiveness from the wonderful staff. The rooms and grounds were very clean. The food was wonderful. We rarely felt like leaving the hotel. The vibe is serene and not crowded. I wouldn’t suggest it if you are looking for a loud party scene. It is a bit off the beaten path so taxis are a must. If you are looking to relax, eat great food, enjoy the spa, and appreciate an attentive staff then you won’t regret staying here.

Our group of 5 girls loved hotel, it was close to everything, 10 min drive to downtown and 15 mins to the beach. We had private transportation for our whole trip so it is convenient. The hotel is really nice, it has the Tulum jungle vibe. We got the 4 bedroom villas and loved it. Front desk was very helpful ans responsive thru WhatsApp when we needed something. We would definitely come back and stay here again.
