Checkin was straight forward, we had a nice warm welcome from the staff.
The reception area was nice and warm, and very well presented.
Our room was a family room with a small balcony overlooking the woods. The room was warm, with some supplementary heating if needed. Nicely decorated, with 2 queen doubles, the bed linen was super soft and cosy. We slept very well.
The bathroom was clean and had all the things you would expect to find in a bathroom.
The dining area was very impressive, you choose to sit in the bar area, conservatory, or the dining room. Very nicely presented , the waiting on staff were very helpful. The evening menu was good and the food was cooked and presented nicely. There was also a children's menu.
Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of choice.

Would have been a 5 star review except for the coffee stains on the wall in the bedroom,and dirty marks on the curtains. ( Attention to detail)
Great stay would recommend for anyone visiting Legoland.

The hotel room was comfortable and the staff in the hotel were polite. The breakfast buffet was great with a range of food and drinks. I booked the hotel because in the photos, the pool looked really nice and that was the reason I chose the hotel. We went to the pool once. It didn’t feel ‘heated’ as advertised and it was cloudy (perhaps with chemicals). The pool area is also quite tired and in need of some updating. The next time I wanted to use the pool, it was unavailable, despite being advertised as open that particular day and time. I am disappointed.

To be honest, it was the worst Hilton we have ever stayed at.
We were greeted by a lovely gentleman on our late check-in
Our room was extremely cold, two portable heaters were in the room. Which helped.
The sink in the bathroom kept blocking up and my husband kept trying to unblock it.
The tv in the room would not turn off, so husband pulled the unit out to switch it off at the wall.
The room where we had breakfast was the best room, clean and the breakfast was lovely too.
We went to the Spa after breakfast, we had to wait a while before we seen anyone. There was some dance competition on so we put it down to that staff were busy. Which is understandable. The problem we felt was the lack of cleanliness of the spa swimming pool area. It certainly needs a very good clean!
Hairs in the shower, looks like the floors have not been cleaned for sometime. From the changing room to the pool area was shocking. When I was leaving a cleaner did come in and do the toilets.
Unfortunately we would not return to this hotel if we were in the area ever again. Which is a shame as we have always loved staying at Hilton hotels
But not this one 😢

Overall a nice stay in the hotel. The staff were friendly and the room clean and spacious.

The temperature in the bar area was on the cold side and the staff could have cleared the used plates at breakfast away quicker. We had to eat breakfast surrounded by dirty crockery.

Otherwise breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

It started well, friendly at check in which was the operations manager, then had a swim in the pool which was very cold and the changing rooms were dirty. We booked a family room which was a good size and with a lovely view of the grounds so our first night of the 2 night stay was good. The morning of the 2nd day we had no hot water so we had cold showers and alerted the reception on our way out for the day. When we returned from a full day out at 7pm there was a note to say we had to change rooms, no thought to call us and warn us of this, when I asked reception how far the new room would be as we had a lot of things to move as a family with a 3 year old staying for New Year…..to be told we were being moved to 2 rooms with connecting doors, which was not acceptable and our 3 year old was distressed. We were then told they would give us a bedroom with a sofa bed instead of our family room with 2 proper beds which we had to accept as they refused to let us stay in our room even though we would have taken this with no hot water over the hassle of switching rooms. The room was inferior to what we had booked and paid for, smaller, dated bathroom and the sofa bed instead of a 2nd bedroom. No offer of help to move our luggage etc which I find so rude, and no offer of any compensation, not even a complimentary drink or something for the inconvenience. The attitude on reception during this was memorable and not in a good way!! Keep your expectation low if you stay here.

We are extremely disappointed with our recent stay at your hotel. While the room itself was satisfactory, we specifically chose your hotel because of the swimming pool, as it was an important activity for our children.Upon arrival at approximately 5:00 p.m., your staff informed us that the swimming pool was closed and assured us it would reopen at 8:00 a.m. the following morning. Based on this confirmation, we adjusted our plans, waking up at 6:30 a.m. and having a light breakfast in preparation for swimming.However, when we went to the front desk at 8:00 a.m., we were informed that the pool required an additional 45 minutes for inspection. Shortly afterward, we were told that the swimming pool would not open at all due to safety concerns. This poor communication and lack of planning caused significant inconvenience and completely disrupted our stay.We were exhausted from waking up early, and since we had planned to visit LEGOLAND, we no longer had sufficient time to swim. To make matters worse, your staff suggested that we drive an additional 10 minutes to use another swimming pool. This is not an acceptable alternative and does not compensate for the inconvenience caused.
Furthermore, we received an email from your hotel stating that the swimming pool operates Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. This information was clearly misleading and does not reflect the actual availability of the facility.

We received misleading information from the hotel prior to our stay stating that the pool would close at 20:00 on weekends. However, upon our arrival at around 17:00, we were informed that the pool actually closed at 17:30, with last entry at 16:00, making it impossible for us to use it as planned. Because our children were very much looking forward to using the pool, we rearranged our itinerary and woke up early the next morning specifically for this purpose. Unfortunately, the pool was then closed again due to a water quality issue. As a result, our children were extremely disappointed. Given these circumstances, we feel frustrated and it was unreasonable to pay a premium rate for a hotel stay that did not provide access to one of its advertised amenities.

Room 214 where I stayed for two nights felt unfinished no prints on the walls, coffee tray with kettle not placed near a socket and I cut my heal on the carpet grippers coming out of the bathroom on the stairs. I just expected a bit more from a hotel clinging to the name Hilton! The restaurant menu bared no resemblance to the pictures on the screen above the reception desk, our room i assume used to be an office or conference room repurposed to be a bedroom, the en-suite was tired and worn but the cleaning staff had done a first class job, the bar could only supply Guinness to an ale drinker, first world problem I know but even a couple of bottled ales would have been nice and £22 for two packets of peanuts and two packs of crisps! Blimey I thought, would I go back, who knows, I would probably stick to a Premier Inn maybe

The water for the extremely low bath was tepid at best.

They had been some kind of regulator added to the tap to stop it from turning hotter.

The noise from the other guests walking up and down the corridor was too much and I left around 8:30 p.m. on the day that I arrived because I couldn't stay here not with all that noise.

At 9o/c on Bank holiday Monday breakfast was poorly managed, there was not enough cooked items like fried eggs, mushrooms and bacon. The delay in getting more food was unacceptable. This caused lots of guests to have to stand and wait which meant the food they already had on their plates was going cold. My wife gave up waiting as the tray of bacon took so long to arrive also to be charged a lot of money for some Weetabix and a small Croissant is not good enough. Knowing the reputation of the Hilton Hotels we expected better.
We will not be returning to this Hotel.

We stayed here as a family of 3 during a trip to London then Legoland. The hotel is an easy drive from Richmond and to Legoland.

During our stay the staff were incredibly friendly. The hotel grounds, bar/restaurant and leasuire facilities were great.

The room was spacious and well equipped, the only downside was some small areas of mould in the bathroom.

Our second time at St Anne’s and it was wonderful. The amenities were great, the property was tranquil, the staff very friendly and the service top notch. No request was too much. My sister had inquired about a sauce that was nowhere on the menu, and it was provided. We felt like VIP’s by the bar/dining room staff especially Mohammed. We look forward to our next visit.

Lovely welcome and great sized room for a family of 5 in the Junior suite. Excellent breakfast and nice treats for the kids on arrival. The beds were very comfy and the facilities were fine, very soft cleans towels. The only thing that really let the visit down was no air-con, luckily balconette doors opened and they provided a fan but with small children unfortunately keeping these open wasn't an option which led to a very warm night! Refreshments were provided, air-con In a family suite in Summer is a must have! The orginal vents for the aircon were still in the room which caused a buzzing noise too.

Very surprised to be told when we arrived for breakfast that, \"There isn't much left\".
Disappointed that there was no obvious means of recycling plastic products.
Enjoyed spending time in the garden in the sun but our movements were restricted by a wedding reception which was taking place. It would have been useful if the fact that the wedding celebrations were taking place was advertised on the website when we booked.

We’ve been to St Ann’s a number of times over the years. We like the swimming pool and the having evening dinner with a very good menu. The breakfast is particularly good. It’s just a shame, and it’s mentioned by the hotel themselves in their literature, that the rooms are not air conditioned. It was very warm and though there was a fan in the room it was very noisy so we had to turn it off.

Stayed here for a trip to Legoland as we wanted a hotel with a pool. Overall it was a great hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. Only downside we found was that it was difficult to get through on the phone to order room service.

Also kids were only allowed in the pool during certain hours which was a little disappointing as it would have been nice to be able to go for a swim after dinner.

No ev charging points at the hotel, however it looked like they had been installed and were just not working.

Selected the property to enjoy pool and air-conditioned accommodation during the heatwave only to be informed after paying non refundable fee that air-conditioning didn't work and a fan would be available the room. Pool water was cloudy and murky.and sauna room dirty. Couldn't even enjoy these facilities that were poorly maintained. Pets are allowed on the premises and rooms and therefore not ideal when sensitive to pet hair. Suffered with sinus and congestion in unbearably hot room where windows barely opened. Would avoid staying at this very dated hotel with unsympathetic staff.

I had the worst check in ever. Between the hotel and expedia they had not communicated and therefore couldn't check me in. Even though I had a confirmation email and had paid for the hotel.
I spent over an hour trying to check in and was told I had to phone expedia myself to sort it out. They were constantly unhelpful moving me from person to person and then saying they would phone the hotel to discuss of which they then didn't.
In the end, after an hour and 15 minutes, I had to pay for the hotel room again, even though I had paid and expedia had taken my money.

Once in my room, I then spent another hour and half on the phone to expedia and talking to the hotel to sort it out which resulted in us missing out on a swimming session (the reason we booked this hotel) and our dinner reservation.

Due to this delay, my son has missed dinner ( at a nearby restuarant and I called and they couldn't fit us in) Still with the check in not sorted, I was told by the hotel staff to use uber eats as it would take over an hour and half to cook one pizza (off their menu) for my son, it was now nearly 9pm.

Eventually, the hotel staff saw my distress and said that they would call expedia in the morning and sort the situation out for me. The lack of communication between the two companies, the expectation for me to pay again and to phone and sort this out myself even though I had emails and bank statements to confirm my booking, completely ruined our weekend away and time at this hotel.

Hotel itself was very well presented, clean & our room was nice.
However, I feel it should be clearly listed that a hotel of this standard does not have air conditioning in the rooms, even when it’s 30 degrees outside.
The room we were in was clearly fitted with an air conditioning panel & vent, but was over-stickered to say that air conditioning was not provided.
Instead we were given a fan and there was no window that opened wider than a few centimetres either.
This resulted in a very unsettled, uncomfortable nights sleep which was really disappointing.

Would not encourage anyone to stay here in the hot summer months unfortunately.
Would be a lovely hotel otherwise.

The hotel and its grounds are places you don’t want to leave.

This hotel is in a great need of a maintenance and TLC. There is a lot of areas showing wear and tear. Our room was ok, few things were broken, tv and sockets wasn't working as the fuse was blown, bathroom looking tired, breakfast was good, as it was the service. Staff very polite and helpful. Good and warm swimming pool. Surrounding areas of the hotel are not maintained at all, grass overgrown, weeds around, dead flowers in the pots, etc. This hotel can be vastly improved in all areas.... It felt like this place is lost in time...

Its an odd set up, You have no feeling of being in a beautiful old building, the carpets and general decor is dated, The room had bare wall and no art.

Recommend!

Very good hotel and service. From front staff to restaurant Staff, cleaning staff to gym and pool staff. Everyone very pleasant, attentive and ready to help. Only downside was room 125 has a smell of dump.
