My only problem was the man who brought his dog into the breakfast room and the fresh pile of poo next to the lift as I exited on the 2nd floor. I don't think dogs belong in restaurants and after this experience I don't think they belong in hotels either.

Booked 2 rooms and didn't allow me to choose 1 room as double bed and 1 as 2 single beds, chose 2 single beds and put my request there for the room requirements. Bases on my few hotels.com, very seldom did the reply. At the time of check-in, only arranged 2 single beds room, suggested they didn't receive the request and all double bed room is bed (pretty instant and I doubt he did want to cater my request). No choice and then head to the room. Interior settings like living in hospital, I doubt the hotel is transformed from hospital? I'm given a disabled room, alright, fine, but didn't feel like a hotel but at a hospital. Shower area without any fences and drainage is slow, water pour over the whole toilet and no way to dry your feet without existing the bathroom. It's terrible and won't back again

My room was lovely and clean and the cleaning lady folded up my towels and things and made it nice the next morning after I had rushed out leaving them on the chair which she really didn’t have to do! So thank you. Spokes cafe also allowed Luna my dog in to be with me for breakfast and lunch the next day. We had a few lovely walks round the water and enjoyed the pretty area of the university. Reception lady was lovely as well. A good stay!

Being within the university campus there is no real road traffic and the room are well insulated from noise.

EV charging is an issue as there are no onsite chargers. There is one I was advised to use around the corner which had links to the hotel however it was being serviced (there was a sign on it but no sign of activity).

Thought the furniture was slightly disappointing as staining on varnish on surfaces where people had not been careful with drinks etc . But otherwise very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very quiet and a short drive from the town centre.

The room was a little run down. Shabby wooden furniture. The Bathroom needed a good clean especially around the flooring near the bath! Repairs had been made to the tiles which looked scruffy. If you were over 5ft 6in it was hard to stand under the shower.

Great option if you need to be close to University of Nottingham Jubilee Campus. Plenty of parking space right in front of the hotel, kind and welcoming front desk staff. Clean and well kept hotel.
Flexipass key system is a good idea in theory but terrible in practice. We were styaing two people in a double room, but the system allows only one key, which was a major inconvenience. We had to get physical keys in the end. Also, the NFC for Flexipass is generally hit or miss. It may work at other places or rooms, but it was erratic for our room.
Apart from this, there was a strange smell in the room, which I think was coming from the carpet. We had two rooms and only one had this problem, so I think it was an isolated case, but still...

One night stay to attend nearby Splendour festival. Hotel was ideally located for Wollaton Park with a pub and takeaways close by. I thought it was excellent value with very clean, spacious and light room. Comfortable with everything you need!

Overall a good stay in an upper 3 star hotel
The hotel is part of the University complex not far from the Business school. Free parking is available in front of the hotel. Check in was quick and efficient and we were allocated a large room on the second floor. The accomodation is spacious and well equiped with modern facilities. The breakfast was included in the rate of £80/night non refundable.
We have a pet and a £30 surcharge was added which is high for not alot. The open plan arrangement of building made some minor background noise but was not significant.

This is my go to hotel whenever i have a night out in nottingham. Lovely location, ample parking, friendly staff and not far from the centre, but far enough to avoid the disturbances soundwise.
