Room wasn’t dark enough for a good nights sleep as emergency lighting. No room service menu available. Breakfast was poor as buffet style with limited selection. Drink choice was poor as coffee from a machine tastes horrible. It’s a shame you couldn’t offer a healthier cookie without the rapeseed oil ingredients! You also need some bins outside or in reception. Also not keen on the red decor in the room, doesn’t seem relaxing. Bottle of water in fridge couldn’t be opened. If you’re going to supply a fridge, why not supply fresh milk instead of UHT?

Room and overall hotel was clean, love the fact that you are able to regulate the temperature in the room. Breakfast was edible.Staff was helpful especially the receptionist Michael, 100%. There was at one point we were being racially profile, once we informed the manager she stated that she would deal with the situation. Have no idea of the outcome. We are not going to make that incident cloud our judgment. We/I will return. Wi-Fi signal was good.

Hotel was nice and welcome was good. I was rudely awaken at 5am in my room from the sound of deliveries and recycling glass bottles which is awful considering the reason we use hotels is to sleep. It has completely ruined my day with work due to tiredness I am now facing. Not one at all

The staff was fab and checking in was great. I have to speak highly of the staff as when I informed that I was cold, they promptly turned on the heating in my room and asked Housekeeping to bring me a plug in radiator.

The room was lively. The only issue was that when we showered, the water ran all over the floor towards the toilet and sink and wet up the bathroom. This happened in room 136. It’s a Lovely room that I would like to stay in again upon my return but the shower needs to be sorted out.

The room was perfect. We were upgraded to a superior room. The Hilton had thought of everything. Controlled bathroom lights from your bedside and a convenient night light. Nice hotel but breakfast needs improving

Our welcome was lovely with a warm cookie and our toom was upgraded to one of the new rooms. The room was great, although the bathroom was a squeeze.
The only thing to bring my review down from 5 stars was the breakfast. The staff at breakfast were not very welcoming and we had to ask about food being topped up. We arrived at 1030 with 30 mins of breakfast service still to go and lots of the pastries cold meats and other bits were being topped up.

Breakfast was not great. Bacon actually cold. When there were no fried eggs the staff kindly advised us they were on the way. Seconds later they were served directly on my plate perfectly cooked. It was very busy and people are greedy!!! Coffee lovely.

Pleasant stay at lovely hotel

I experienced some minor glitches which was resolved and I would like to stay here again on my next visit. The room, especially bathroom was very clean, air conditioning was in good working order and the bed was very comfortable. I am unsure though why they have stopped supplying the little 2-pack biscuits to go with your tea or coffee and glad I didn’t have the kids with me cos they love it🤔. The reception staff were polite, professional, friendly and helpful.👍

I booked a room at the Nottingham Double Tree for son’s graduation ceremony on 29 July. This was done at least two months in advance as I was expecting demand to be high that day, it being graduation day.

On the eve of my travel I got a call from the Reservations Manager to say that due to high demand they’d had to move me to the Nottingham Belfry. There hadn’t been high demand when I booked the room.

Anyway, after ignoring my question about a refund I had little choice other than to check in to the Belfry. The desk clerk asked me if I wanted an upgrade which I agreed to on the condition it was the same cost, he said it was.

However, I was subsequently charged an additional £40 for an upgrade. The other £10 that was pre-authorised on my card has also disappeared. I tried to get this cleared up but to no avail. In summary, my original room was resold to profit from the extra demand that night and I was palmed off to the Belfry who then ripped me off. The whole experience was grubby. Would not recommend either hotel if you’re looking for good service.

There was some issues with the room, spcifically, the lights stopped working, we came back to our room after someone had come to fix the light in the bathroom and found the toilet seat had been removed and not replaced meaning we had to use the hotel restaurent toilet. We then had an issue at breakfast where I had been offered an omlette due to my lactose intolerance, however, after taking a few bites of the omlette found that there was cheese

Really poor experience with the staff at this hotel. The TV within the room allows no access to plug in a HDMI cable to connect your laptop, you can only watch the free channels on the tv and the tv isn’t a smart tv. If you want to watch films you have to pay additional and for brand such as Hilton this is very poor and disappointing, when we asked the staff what could be done the were rude and not every helpful saying the hotel is as it claims. The hotel manager advised that we could checkout but that’s all he could do to help. The lady on the front desk was rude upon check in and overall very dissapointed with the way we have been treated. For a double tree Hilton I won’t be visiting here again due to how unhelpful the staff were. We could smell cannabis in the corridor and had to report it twice until it was dealt with. Very disappointed.

Everything is good except one thing, there is a local man who regularly drinks in the bar, he knows all the staff, is very loud. He sat next to me and I was trying to work/have a quiet drink but he was so loud and disruptive. He's been there every time I have stayed. It got very close to me saying something, but then he left. I suggest something is done about this as it's affecting hotel guests
