Rooms have names not numbers and our room was called Tokyo. The room theme was Japanese and very nice, spotlessly clean as well, I saw other room names, including Paria, Vienna and Casablanca but can only imagine their decor, bur imagine they would be good fum. The only disadvantage for me personally was the numer of stairs to the bedroom and the low height of the Japanese style bed

The owner is warm, welcoming and delightful to talk with. She really made our stay. The rooms are fun - each with its own theme. Our room was comfortable and quiet, even though it faced the main road. The location is great - easy to walk or take a bus to all places of interest.

This place was such a good find! We were have a weekend away with friends, stayed here for 3 nights and LOVED it. The owners were lovely, welcoming and helpful. Our room was cleaned while we were there. The location is great for Nottingham city centre. Strongly recommend.

The room was small.so hot with only a small fan which was no good at all. If two people had to pass each other by the beds you had to do crab steps so you could get passed each other. On one of the chairs in the room the back was completely broken. For the money I paid for that room i would have stayed in a sauna and been more comfortable Tokyo room absolutely terrible.

We stayed in the Paris room, and even though the decor is a tad over the top, the room was comfy, big and offered everything we needed. The owner/manager was very helpful and nice to talk to. We paid $10 to park in the inn parking lot.

We were not told that we had to preorder breakfast in fact we never actually got any check in information just a key handed to us. When we arrived at breakfast we were told in front of the other guests that is was not possible as we hadn’t preordered and they were a small establishment - who knows what they would done if we had preordered as it was full!! No offers of a continental or partial breakfast that could be eaten in our suite, nothing. So we said we would leave and not to bother, we went straight up to get our things and before we could even vacate the room the owner entered the room without knocking to start the change over process. Both owners were the rudest most inhospitable hosts I’ve come across in all my extensive travels! Avoid. Definitely not worth the money. I wish I had read the “tips” section on one of the other sites that mentioned several times how rude and unfriendly the owners are - I would never have booked!

Mamas inn boutique is a lovely quirky hotel, I stayed in the London room, which really gave you the feel of London. Red telephone box as a wardrobe various London building art work on the walls etc. The owners very nice people

Was comfy & warm! Had the London room which was great! The breakfast was really good and worth booking and paying extra for! The only downside is you had to pre book the parking (£10) which we were happy to pay but told on arrival it was full ! I didn’t read anywhere you had to pre book, and even emailed 2 weeks prior and they didn’t say then! So parked on the street £1:50 an hour.

Unfortunately weren’t there long enough to sample the food but the menu was extensive and looked amazing.

Deliriously (and deliciously) over the top opulence crammed into an undistinguished (from the outside) terrace a 15min stroll from the city centre. Fabulous service and breakfast. I hadn't ordered dinner, so can't comment but would expect it to be good. If you have a 25kg golf bag, don't make the mistake I made of booking a 2nd floor room!

Marina and David were great and welcoming hosts to my wife and me. The Parisian room we stayed in was elegant, immaculate, and beautifully decorated. The property was private, secure, and peaceful. There are many great restaurants, pubs, and parks for walking in the nearby area. We enjoyed a perfectly prepared multi-course breakfast by the hosts in the morning catered to our dietary needs. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend!

We arrived an hour before booking in time after a long journey and checked whether we could park there. They say first impressions are are everything. Well, the male was rude and not welcoming, telling us we couldn’t book in and to come back at 3. But gave us our room key. So it was a little confusing.
The room was smaller than expected although the bed was comfy. The decoration, whilst intended to be unique per room, was a little odd. Wallpaper peeling from a wall. But they do add little touches you wouldn’t get in a chain hotel.

Mama's Inn over all was great, we were greeted warmly by the owner when we checked in and shown to our room. It suited our needs for the night and was a large comfortable triple room, very quirky in its'London' theme of decoration, good wifi and a decent shower. We went out for a large dinner the evening we arrived and so passed on the £14 breakfast on offer (a little steep in price although to be fair I didn't know what was on offer). As my husband gets up extremely early, it would have been ideal if there had been a downstairs area to sit in quietly and do some work and also get a fresh brewed cup of coffee (hates instant!), but even though one of the owners was around, this unfortunately wasn't possible, so he took himself off to a nearby hotel. A good one off experience for us.

Staying at Mama's Inn was just a fabulously unique experience. Marina and David were charming hosts the room was fantastical, clean and comfortable. I just hope I can find another reason to visit Nottingham in order to stay there again.

Quirky Guest House.
Quirky little place, met 2 people from the Guest House, one was friendlier than the other. Something a little different, unfortunately our room was a little cramped and the bed was uncomfortable as the mattress tilted inwards. I would recommend booking a larger room as some of the others on the way out looked a lot bigger than our room. A genuine and friendly goodbye on our departure. I wish them well.

we was really disappointed with our room, wasn't how pictures showed it, was very small and cramped. The worst part for us was the bed, neither myself or partner slept due to a sloping mattress in the middle and a very noisy squeaky frame. cold tap had no running water.

Our stay was amazing. We loved the designs of the different rooms..each one is unique. We stayed in Paris, Cairo and Venice. Paris is the bigger room. The owners Marina and David were so welcoming and you see that they care. We had a very brief one night stay. The welcome was very warm and the hotel charming and unique. Our room, the London room, was fun but also comfortable and well appointed with all that we needed. Do note it is an old building with no elevator and we had to carry heavy bags up 2 flights of stairs. It's centrally located to easily explore Nottingham and Nott Trent University on foot.
