The issues were fire alarms waking a 9 year old and 4 year old up twice around midnight as well as hot water was not working. The pool wasn’t working either which is why I got the hotel to begin with and we traveled 3.5 hours to get there. The hotel was a bust for my family and I.

The policy and fees section on hotels.com needs to be updated. When you arrive to the property and check in you will be charged the full room rate (after pre-paying) and then an additional $50 incidental charge which wont be returned for 5-10 business days. Front desk agent has a bad attitude when you ask why you are being charged after paying for room and looks down on people who use hotels.com

The pool was broken, the lobby was clean but smelled like weed in the evening and then in the morning there was a homeless guy sitting in the lobby dirty as can be and when the homeless guy left, he gave his phone to the guy at the front desk. When we got to our rooms that were “ready” the beds weren’t even made. Pretty disappointed but oh well I guess

Have no idea how the hotel was. I didn’t stay there due to a water main break.
I did interact with the front desk. I was sent an email stating they had a water main break. I found that literally by accident. I called the number listed & talked to the front desk. After I said hello & she explained about the water problem there was no further discussion on her part. Ultimately I asked what Holiday Inn could do she said I could book a room at another Holiday Inn. No offer as to her doing the booking. When prompted she did state I could book a room at Holiday Inn in Liberty, MO. She didn’t know how far away it was from my preferred location.
When we started to look into booking & she found out that my original booking had been done thru Expedia, she said that I had to call Expedia. Didn’t offer a phone number to Expedia.
So yes I had a bad time due to a poorly trained front desk woman.

No hot water for the two days we were there, paid $300 for the bed and TV we barely watched and had to sponge bath. Water pressure was terrible too. Plumber apparently couldn’t come for days to fix problem so no customer st the hotel could take a shower during their stay. Usually I have no problems with Holiday Inn. Also will never pay via hotels.com ahead of showing up to destination due to issue with getting refund for trip. Made the trip more negative than a positive experience.

We booked this room for 3 nights. Room was not clean when we arrived. We had water issues our whole stay. No hot water and water pressure was an issue. The biggest complaint is we informed when we checked in they didn't have any hot water and it's been out of and on for two weeks. They said we could maybe get a free breakfast when we checked out or a partial credit. We took the credit. My question is how can a restaurant be open without hot water? Can't believe, if they knew, how the health department would allow a restaurant to be open!

The hotel did not have hot water during our stay. We were not informed at check in and found out at 10:30 at night )after traveling and sightseeing all day) when trying to take a shower. They said it had been an issue a few weeks and several plumbers had taken a looked, fixed it an hour or so and then it stops working again. Super inconvenient! How are they washing dishes or sanitizing towels? The one night we went to the bar, the bartender was friendly but did not know how to make a martini She said they trained her three hours and let her go on her own.. ok, maybe it’s a staffing issue but either don’t share those details, or fake it til you make it. They did not have the olives or Vermouth so no martini for me anyway.

I’ve stayed at many holiday inns and this will be the last time. My wife and I shared a room with my paralyzed father and my mom. Upon arrival, we were put in a room that had no air conditioning. After about an hour, we were moved to a different room. This new room come to find out had no hot water. When telling the hotel staff, they said they already knew about it and there’s nothing they could do. So the entire weekend, we had no hot water and the hotel knew this. Additionally, I have a $31 charge from the hotel in which they can not explain what it was for. Terrible experience with my parents in which was supposed to be a fun weekend.

We was here the night they reported an active shooter at Worlds of Fun!! And had several younger people hanging out just down the street!! I just felt unsafe!!

Got there friday 8/9 walked into a AC leaking all over the floor when we called down stairs they said let me guess water on the floor we said yes they moved us rooms then an hour into the power went out a total of for times we called down every time they would take up to 40 min to turn it back on when we complained the management said this we also inconvenience for her to have to come upstairs and flip the breaker and the power off while in the shower and while we were in the bathroom so they moved us rooms again and the power went out twice there at that pointvwe were ready to leave at 10 pm to come back to Colorado by far the worst experience we have ever had and we were with 9 other couples and none of them lost power so please explain this to us

Friendly Staff, But the Hotel Was Disgusting- Mold

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but people deserve to know what they’re walking into.

The staff was kind and welcoming, and that’s the only reason this isn’t a one star review. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was filthy and clearly neglected.

There was black mold growing on the bathroom wall, and the drywall was peeling and rotting. Water damage was everywhere, soaked and crumbling baseboards, and swollen drywall next to the shower.

There was a bright orange fungus growing on the A/C unit itself. I’m not exaggerating when I say it looked like something straight out of The Last of Us. And since it was on the air conditioner, that means it’s likely been blowing spores all over the room. Absolutely disgusting.

Near the A/C, the paint was peeling and stained with rust colored water marks, like it had been leaking for months. The whole room had grime caked into the corners and visible damage that made it feel unsafe and unsanitary.

This level of disrepair wasn’t just cosmetic, it looked like a health hazard and forced us to leave a night early due to feeling sick.

I don’t know how this place is still operating in this condition. I hope management does something about it, because no one should be paying to stay somewhere that looks and feels like this.

They taken my payment out before I checked in and I had to pay an additional 100 for a hold if there was any damages. During our stay the power went out in our room 3 times each night, my boyfriend issues a cpap machine which was how we k ow we did not have power. The cleaning staff did not change our sheets, the second night, they’re we stains on the sheet . And worst of all my bank account got hacked while I was there.

Stay was good. Our bathroom mirror worked partially for the stay and was only given $11 dollars off. The whole hotel to the 4th floor smelled so bad of backed up sewage. Thank god it didnt get into the room but they have a huge serious issue with sewage back up. Was dissapointed that the pool was closed the whole weekend for “maintence” even though when we got in friday afternoon no sign was on the door. Staff on other hand was amazing! they made sure we were taken care of and helped as best as possible. Would i stay at this location again? possibly
