The front desk staff (particularly two staff- woman and a man) were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate us a fix a minor issue. It was all the way they treated others and us that really stood out- and it set the tone for a calm, relaxed stay there.
We asked to check in a bit early, and they happened to have room ready - but on the first floor. We wondered if it would be noisy but it wasn’t an issue at all. The room was spotless and updated as well. The continental breakfast had several options and there was plenty of food. We also walked to the open air market for lunch and brought back to enjoy in the dining area.

It was easy walking distance to the convention center/restaurants or to the outdoor market in the other direction. The city was clean and the free trolly only a block away.

Staff said expedia sent over a 2 bed and i reserved a king bed. Lady said i have a king with no windows was thr only thing she had aval. Which was weird and kinda creepy. Expedia called the staff and all tbe sudden the same lady shows up at the room she put us in with a king bed with a window an hour later. After an hour your settled. It was the lie and her attitude coming to the door that upset me with this lady. Not hey we got a room that came open sorry about that just knock knock heres your new keys.

Room was large and clean. Staff was attentive. Did not use the gym. Could not figure out how to set the t'stat. Rooms are cleaned upon request. Was supposed to receive a receipt via email by did not. Was given a number to call to get a copy of the receipt that was not helpful at all. Hopefully the charges are correct. Next time I'll get a hard copy at checkout.

There wasn't any hot running water Saturday after letting the the water run for 20 mins. Which is super frustrating as someone who was walking in the cold novemeber weather and being on my feet all day. Also our door never shut that you had to force the door shut everytime.

Front desk staff were not knowledgeable about the parking situation. There is no free parking in the area, the hotel charges $16 to park but they have street parking that cost me $5 after I figured it out on my own. The room was very clean except the bathroom vanity was dirty and hadn’t been wiped down. The curtain was off the track a bit, so it let in the light from on the side of the building ALL NIGHT. The wheelchair accessible bathroom did not have a bench so made it inaccessible to my wheelchair bound child. All of those things, plus not having free handicapped parking will prevent us from staying again.

I was in town for a long weekend to see a concert. The hotel was well placed near great spots, spent a good amount of time in power and light, and is a block over from the streetcar. Hotel itself was very nice, staff was helpful, and the room was great.

A great place to stay, was in the city but a quiet area within walking distance to the more busy area. The only negative was the parking situation. It's not the closest and if you have a lot of luggage it is tough to carry it into the hotel.

I stayed to attend a wedding at a venue nearby and loved the location and accessibility to shopping and dining. At check in I was told to call down before 9:00 am for housekeeping, which I did after the first day being there. The front desk said yes, of course, but I came back after a whole day of wedding activities to my room in the same state I left it. I also called for more toilet paper but they made it seem difficult to get it to my room then asked me if I could come down and get it, which I did. When I got off the elevator the young man at the front desk said, here can you catch it, proceeded to throw it at me and it had no cover over it, so basically just an open roll of toilet paper and he threw it in front of guests checking in. Not as professional as I had hoped, but overall the stay was decent and the breakfast was good.

I stayed there for one night parking in their guest parking, woke up in the morning with my window, shattered my car robbed in about six other cars in the same parking lot all with shattered windows. Went to go ask how they can help me because I did park on their guest parking lot and they have cameras somewhat around the area, but they said they cannot help me and set me off.

Very spacious room. The first room they put me in had a nonworking AC/Heating Unit. They put me in an upgraded room at no extra cost.
The staff were great! Breakfast was average. What I did NOT like (no fault of the Hotel) was the LOUD Hot-Rod traffic EVERY night! (and a fire in a lot across from the parking lot).

It was a rough start. The AC in our room wasn't working when we got to the hotel at 9:30 pm. They quickly upgraded us to a different room. I do have to say it was noisy overnight with the traffic and our neighbors slamming door all night. The parking isn't that great either.

The man who checked us in was great, the rest of staff was either unfruendly or snippy. Our room had a large bleach stain in the carpet and a hole. The curtains wouldn't close all the way. Extremely noisy, hall and street noise. Breakfast was basically gone by 930 am, no silverware, and when I asked she was rude and said they were out of forks. Wouldnt stay again.

Car got broken into while in the parking lot

My car got broken into while in the parking lot. They busted out my back passenger window and tried to use a screw driver to start the car. I had to rent a car to get back home since my car wasn’t drivable.

Issues with stay

The hotel is remodeled and nice. We did not have shampoo or body wash. I asked for more on two occasions and we never got any for our stay. Another customer had their car vandalized in the hotel parking lot across the street. It was the car parked near ours. They said they have someone checking the lot, but they have to check three lots. The car was not drivable. We were lucky. The employees were nice, but there are issues.

When we arrived, Check in was quick and easy. That unfortunately is where the good parts end. We got to our room to find the door unlocked, beds were a mess, towels on the floor and trash on the desk. They did quickly get us into a clean fresh room but then we continued to have issues with the AC which was apparently a known issue. Our alarm decided to go off at 3am which none of us had set and woke everyone up. Checkout was easy and quick as well but the breakfast was very lackluster for a hotel charging $180 for a single night's stay.

We’ve traveled heavily for volleyball this season. Mostly, we’ve stayed at Marriott hotels. No breakfast, no microwave or fridge in rooms, and outrageous parking. Hampton didn’t give us any of those problems. We will be choosing Hampton from now on.

Hotel lobby was nice and friendly staff. Our room was super warm. I had to go to the front desk five different time the first two days we were there because the air conditioner was not working in our room. The front desk helpers told me each time they were resetting it and it should be working. We were in town for a softball tournament and came back to a hot hotel room two days in a row. Finally on the fifth time I asked them to get someone to come look at it the lady at the front desk got it set from their area in the back. Breakfast was okay and the seating area was nice. Lots of random and homeless people outside the hotel. We are from a small town so we didn’t feel safe to be out after dark.
