Stayed two nights and the hotel served us really well. Self Check in details were provided a couple of days before our stay. The room was clean and plenty of space for a 3 night stay. The location is excellent, really close to tube station and only 3 stops from Leicester Square. Nice bar across the road, and a lovely new cafe nearby.

Bery unusual process from hotel. Required payment day before arrival. Provided with front door code and advised room number and that romm would be left unlocked with key on the bed. When arrived, room that was supposed to be mine was locked and had been given to someone else. No response from staff member who was supposed to be on duty.

We had booked a family stay for 3. Double bed was comfortable, but \" sofa bed\" was a narrow pillows on the floor with some thin mattress on the top.

Convenient location directly next door to tube station. Easy check in process. Toilet roll holder snapped off leaving sharp edge, shower door off its rollers, extractor fan broken, window rattles when open. Room so small had to squeeze between wall and end of bed. Hallways in need of a deep clean.

Ideally, this place is great for convenience of location and staff is friendly. However, the walls are very thin and so are the windows, so it was very difficult to get rest as a light sleeper as I could hear everything going on inside the building AND outside, including traffic and passerby’s for example. With some proper soundproofing, would recommend as an appropriate stay for those who want to explore London.

Would highly recommend, had such a lovely stay and super convenient to transport/supermarket and a lot to do within walking distance. Was a nice and clean hotel and our room was cleaned with fresh towels frequently. Also was amazing we could leave our bags there after checkout before our late flight so we didn’t have to cart them around all day. Definitely will stay again :)

our room didn't look like the picture and was tiny, glad we just had carry-on language. Location to the Tube was great but Camden Twon I not a great Neiborhood. I didn't feel unsafe, just dirty everywhere. I was quite disappointed.

On arrival, sensor light in hall didn't turn on until i got to stairs. Dirty stained carpet. Climbed narrow stairs to 2nd floor with luggage (no lift). No safe or fridge and nightclub across the road went til after midnight with 'doof doof' music blaring. Same entry code for everyone. Bathroom sink made glug glug sounds when draining and you could hear the underground (not in the bedroom so much). No drinking glass but cups for coffee/tea ok. Paying for the location which was convenient for Eurostar.

Great compared to other places we have stayed in for similar price. Main thing was air-con (not usually a necessity in the UK but this weekend weas particularly hot) and e nice en-suite (not shared which they usually are). Check In was also great, instructions whatsapped to me the day before.

Property is fine for quick access to Camden and its literally right next to the Morning Crescent underground station so very convenient. That said the room was quiet small and the tv didn't work. Generally it was ok though, and the communciation from the staff on the lead up to arriving was good, with clear instructions about how to access the property. So, if your not planning to stay much in the hotel (which is expected if your in camden) then it a fine fit, especially if you can get a good price.

Excellent position for visiting West End. Very close to the tube station. 10mins into shopping and theatreland. Room was small but clean and had the essentials. If you would prefer to buy good seats at the theatre or that handbag you always fancied then this hotel would be a good choice.

Check in to the hotel was smooth. Room was small, but did the job for being in the city. Bed was small, but again did the job. Shower was nice, bathroom clean and shampoo/shower gel provided. My big issue, I have flagged it with the host- they need to sort out the gutters/drainage outside room 10 as with the rain during the night the noise of the water falling on to the flat roof made it impossible to sleep. We were awake from 3AM because of the noise. I hope they sort it

Did not meet expectations
I’m often reluctant to give less than positive reviews but unfortunately this hotel did not meet my standards. The heat did not work nor did hot water for showers. The rooms were serviced but still felt dated and not extremely clean. The bed was rather un even and the sheets did not feel sanitary. The cleaners were efficient and friendly along with the counter person but no one was there at the check in counter the majority of my stay. I appreciate their efforts to try and fix the heat problem but it was too little too late.

The rooms are very small. Despite the fact they have up to three floors they do not have elevators, and the stairs are extremely narrow, very complicated to access with a medium size luggage.

I picked this place for its close proximity to the venue Koko, which is just around the corner, as well as public transportation. I was very disappointed that I was on the top (fourth) floor and there is no elevator/lift. This should be clearly stated in the property description. The staff hours are very limited so no one was there to greet me at 3:00pm. They contacted me three different ways to collect payment but my message to them about the wifi went unanswered. The room was so tiny there’s only maybe 10 inches of space between the foot of the bed and the wall, making it difficult to move around the room. The carpet did not appear to be clean. Great location but glad I was only there one night and traveling solo.

Great location but bed was broken (huge dents in both sides that make you feel like you're about to fall off). Shower drain was blocked so your feet are covered with water. Came back one day and door to our room was open. Dirty linen but maybe thats what you get for the price paid

We realized when we booked that this was an older property and that the amenities were not going to be five star. It was clean and secure. The only exception was the carpet than had some stains that could have used a rug shampooing.
I never did catch the name of the person that was in the office as they were in a hurry to leave but they did let us use the phone to try to iron out an issue we had with our previous hotel.
If you stay be aware there is no lift and the stairs are narrow and not for anyone that cannot carry their suitcases up the stairs. It is self serve.
I never did catch the name of the person that was in the office as they were in a hurry to leave but they did let us use the phone to try to iron out an issue we had with our previous hotel.
If you stay be aware there is no lift and the stairs are narrow and not for anyone that cannot carry their suitcases up the stairs. It is self serve.

Check in was difficult, with no direct way of contacting staff and no prior check in details sent. Ended up having to call a number whilst stood outside who rejected the call because they ‘get too many spam calls’. Room was comfortable if a little smaller than in the photos. Clean enough space with minimal amenities. Did have a nice shared lounge and patio area, I can imagine if you’re solo travellers staying a few nights that is really lovely to have. Really good location, right next to tube station. Rooms aren’t soundproof and as expected it was a little noisy. Well secured but wasn’t comfortable with having my full name and stay details on the door of the room for everyone to see. HUGE safety issue. Otherwise, a fair hotel room.

Great hotel, allowed us to check in at 12pm so we could leave our bags in the room. Location is fantastic, literally next door to the underground station, lots of options for shops and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again if we return to London.

The room we had, had 0 space, not even a little table, hardly any space to walk around the bed! Next to the bed there was a chair instead of bedside table which wasnt practical at all! The plug and the light switch were hidden behind the headboard of the bed which didnt make any sense at all! once we moved the bed slightly to have access to it, we have discovered a lot of dirt including someones tablets on the floor which was a bit disgusting and gross! We have also discovered there is no tea or coffee in the room, had to go all the way down to the lounge 3 floors down to get it and there was no basic coffee in the lounge either which you would expect to have at least for the money you paid!

The hotel check in process was simple - the room allocated to us was nice however I do think there is room for improvement. There were quite a few hairs in the room, buildup of limescale around shower. Curtains were not blackout and the room let a lot of light in. The layout of the room and the style was lovely - the location was spot on for what we needed.

Had a fantastic couple of nights stay. Perfect as we went to a concert at the KoKo the first night. Literally a few minutes walk from the hotel. Camden is great for shopping and food. Lovely hotel. Good communication from owners about check in etc. Very clean room. Would definitely stay again.

No coffee but tea is available to make yourself in the lounge on the ground floor. Snacks (biscuits), water, shampoo & shower gel were provided. Our room was on the 3rd floor which was fine for us but there are stairs & no lift to get to the rooms so you might want to bear that in mind before booking.
The best thing about the hotel is that it is almost next door to Mornington Crescent tube so if you are visiting Camden, Kentish Town or the West End it has an unbeatable location.

Thanks a lot for the wonderful and very mindful staff, they really made a difference! The room was tiny, tidy and cozy. Lovely and neat kitchen with a balcony. Close to subway, a bit noisy outside, but the sound-proof windows and walls made you feel at home! The bathroom was immaculate!

We were in town for one night to watch a gig. We had a decent sized en suite room at a reasonable price. It is right next to the tube station and we found some Just Park parking 5 minutes walk away. Check in is done by text the day before and you are given all the info you need. It doesn't have a bar or restaurant so they have a communal area with tea and coffee that you can help yourself to. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes a short walk away. We will def book again

Proximity to tube station has pro and con- its great for getting around the city without having to be in a more central(expensive) hotel, but you can hear the train coming and going and that can make it difficult for some to fall asleep. We we emailed the reservation confirmation via email but not the confirmation details with door code and room number. We couldn’t get in. The cleaner saw us and let us in ( 38 degrees outside)She phoned a manager who wasn’t on site we had to wait for her to turn up and we had to repeat our details 4 times overall. She finally realised there had been a cancelation hence the mix up ( not ours theirs). Then she said we would have to wait for our room to be cleaned. I said we were meant to have access to the room an hour ago. You make sure it’s cleaned asap. She then instructed the cleaner to make a start on it ! She (the manager) said you can use our facilities while you wait. I thought of course we can we e paid for it. We didn’t however as the fridge door had been left open in extreme heat and goodness knows the state of the milk. Overall not acceptable. The cleaner was really pleasant and as helpful as she could be. Manager needs to lift her game.

It was pretty clean, but it was a really noisy street and there were empty mini gas canisters all over the steps in the morning. Not the best area. Also there were no staff there and no lift (which I found really tricky when carrying my large suitcase up 4 floors)
