This is not a 5-star hotel experience. I called several times in advance to request an early check-in, and although one hour earlier was eventually agreed, when I arrived at the confirmed time the room was still not ready.
The room itself had an unpleasant smell and was not in great condition. The carpet looked very worn, and the shower had significant limescale build-up.
The hotel overall feels quite dark due to very low lighting in common areas, and there is only one lift, which is extremely slow. The rooms are also not soundproof, so you can clearly hear traffic and people outside — especially given how busy the King’s Cross area is.
Overall, I would rate this closer to a 3-star hotel. The main positive aspect is the convenient location.

First room was musty and dirty, after a request for another room, I was given one without carpets. The sheets weren't clean, rooms generally not maintained, soap scum in showers and sink, not well vacuumed and rooms are tired. Not representative of photos. Also the AC was not working in the whole hotel, so had to open windows for ventilation, as a result, noisy due to being across from St Pancras. 3 star hotel at best due to lack of maintenance.

We stayed here once before so that we would have easy access to Kings Cross Station (right across the street). During our first stay our room faced a side street. This time we had a room facing Kings Cross (and St. Pancras). Not great. The noise level was considerably higher. We had to wear ear plugs all night. It is a great location and a very nice property, but I would not want a room facing the stations. The onsite restaurant is well worth a visit.

For those traversing the north of England through to Europe this is a great hotel nestled between Kings Cross and St Pancras. Very welcoming staff and individual rooms .. well worth a try. You may get a little lost at first (especially finding the bar) but persevere as worth it.

Our room was cleaned, The only issue we got is the internet connection it was so bad as in data is better. Until on our 6th day, front desk named Felippo send somebody to fix it then our connection became much better. Thanks to his attentiveness to their guests.

We've tried a few hotels around St Pancras and find this is the best value for money. Rooms are larger than average for London, beds super comfy. You do get quite a lot of traffic noise and the building site next to it starts early but for a one night stop it's fine. Breakfast is not worth the amount they charge, plenty of other places you can get it.
