Great location as it was a short walk to King’s Cross Station for easy transportation connections. The property itself was okay but had no lift so we had to carry our luggage up several flights of stairs to get to the room. The room itself was clean and tidy but very, very small.

Noise does carry from other rooms so light sleepers might strugggle. Given the location it's a bargain, if you have sensible expectations - you'll do a lot worse for the rate in London. perhaps one for a night or two, not an extended stay, but I'd definitely use again. The area is a little bit run down but doesn't feel actively risky.

It’s conveniently located near the train station, making it a suitable option if you’re only looking for a place to crash for the night. However, the rooms are quite small and the prices are a bit steep. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you absolutely have no other choice and plan to sleep the night and move on. I’m not sure if this is a common issue in London or just a problem with this particular place. So, please don’t take my word for it. Do your research and see if you can find a better option.

Very close to Kings Cross on a nice square. The bed was awful as was the bedding I got very little sleep due to poorly fitting sheets bunched up beneath me. Quilt similarly bad. Room very hot but windows could be opened. Shower temperature control broken so only scalding water came out. Gap in door let corridor bright light through further preventing sleep. Lots of hoodie types hanging around the vicinity with strong smell of cannabis. Never again!

The location is fantastic and the staff were friendly. We were unable to get a second key, but the staff made note of who we were and were able to let us in without the key if we came back separately.
My only complaints are that the quarters are a bit tight and the bathroom door was rather hard to close (I felt like I might rip the doorknob off each time I closed that door).

Bring your flippers, what a shocking place, when you enter there’s an air of damp, walk along the corridor and it gets worse.
Once in our ‘comfort’ room, complete with ‘free’ toiletries (4 tiny sachets of shower gel and a slim bar of soap) the walls were stained brown, the window pushed open and not close-able, with the window blow it blown. The towels had old well washed in stains.
We were busy and just needed a bed which was comfortable enough, and so late at night we’ve stayed.
Overnight it rained and this morning the brown stains on the wall are worse, there’s little clothing hang - it’s off a high rail above the tea and coffee making facilities so not ideal.
Getting out of bed we stood in water, not from the window but coming up through the laminate floor under the bed! There was a very large puddle on the floor, 2/3 the size of a bed!
Getting dressed we have checked out and advised the reception desk who seemed blasé about the water and our uncomfortable early morning paddle. It was obviously something they have experienced before because there was no surprise.

The Argyle Square Hotel is one of the many Boutique style hotels in Argyle Square and adjacent streets. I have stayed in many of them over the years. What set Argyle Square a little above, for me, was the smiling, helpful and friendly staff. You don't expect five-star luxury at these hotels, but the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the towels changed daily. This hotel does not offer breakfast, but there are loads of eating places nearby. The location is excelllent for those coming to London by train, as it's just across from Kings Ccross Station and a short walk to Euston Station. The WiFi connected easily, and the shower had good water pressure, at the right temperature.

The bed and table were metal put me up furniture that can be folded down like in a camp site. The stairs were very steep, no lifts.
