Our hotel room was clean and basic. However, self check-in was encouraged when we got there and that was a bit frustrating. While we struggled navigating their system, employees stood there watching. Checking in became a negative experience when it really could have been avoided. Also, charging per bag to be left there for early arrival seemed a bit of a money grab. Simple services like the ones mentioned above are things people remember - whether it is positive or negative. Advice, check people in and offer holding bags as a complimentary service to avoid negative reviews.

Great location 5 min walk from Kings Cross. 2 great pubs for good and drinks next to and opposite the hotel. Room was clean but compact, bed did have a tendency to live when you rolled over!! Staff were lovely. Big downside for us was the breakfast was expensive but there was also no tea it coffee making facilities in the room. Which we missed when one of us wakes early

Generally a nice place. Have stayed before. The room I got this time for two adults was, for us, too small. The double bed was up against the wall on one side and my partner needed to climb over me to get out. I do not feel it should have been sold as a room for two adults.

The heating/air con didn't work even though I reported it.
Breakfast music is too loud but breakfast itself is decent. 5 mins walk from Kings Cross.

There are no kettles for tea/coffee in the rooms, but that was fine as I had a coffee already - and enjoyed my breakfast cappuchino. Would definitely stay again.

A proper faf with the automated check-in. Rooms were very clean and tidy but very small. Not allowed to borrow 2 wine glasses from the bar to take to my room. Lots of noise from the pipes and the heating didnt work properly. OK for one night but not for me. I won't stay again.

Staff - the guys person who attend to us from the moment we arrive to the time we left was not helpful and gave us a feeling of being discriminated.
On arrival, he did not fully assist us how to check, just kept on telling us to read the instructions , and yet when another customer arrived to check in, he’s fully attentive and even do the task for tha person
On checking out, i am already in a cue, next to be attended to by him and he instead walk away to see another person (when that person is already being attended to by another staff) and by observing him, he simply just walk around the computer desk just to get away from me pretend to help the other customer, I have to call his attention again to attend to me…

On claiming back our luggage from the storage, he kept on scrutinising what bag we have and yet we have handed over to him our baggage claiming number.. as if he is doubting us that we don’t own the bag, asking descriptions from us of the bag… yet he already the claim number in his hands


The rooms are too small the toilet is too cramped and small u have to sit sideways as ur knee won’t fit

The policy of no kettle in each room is really not safe for reason, there’s more risk of us burn our hands whilst carrying the cup with boiling water from the reception to our room, it’s a hassle to get up in middle of of night and walk all the way out to reception to get hot water, and u need to put down the cups in the floor to be able to open each doors in the hallway

I stayed at Point A Hotel London Kings Cross – St Pancras during a recent trip through England. While the location is convenient, this was the most expensive hotel I stayed at on the trip and also the smallest, which made the value disappointing.
The room was extremely compact, and this was not clearly communicated at booking. It was only vaguely hinted at on arrival by a staff member, who suggested larger rooms might be available for us when we finally checked-in, which turned out not to be the case.
The hotel does not accept package deliveries for guests, a policy that is not disclosed in advance. One of my packages was turned away, causing frustration for the courier. Thankfully, he contacted me and I was able to arrange collection elsewhere. This policy feels poorly considered and benefits only the hotel.
Early arrival is also costly, with charges for both luggage storage and early check-in. The cost no better than one of the external luggage storage shops. The internet connection was unstable throughout my stay.
I am not one to leave negative reviews, but compared with six other hotel stays across England on this trip, this property did not measure up in comfort, value, or guest-focused policies.

Breakfast was very good. Fresh pastries, cereals, hard boiled eggs, fruit and some meat & cheese options. I did notice some gluten free muesli however cross contamination would be a concern for celiacs.
Price was a little high for the room, however some of this is due to currency exchange rates. Overall, we would recommend and stay here again
