A great little hotel in a great location. 5 mins walk from Kings Cross St. Pancras. I have stayed here twice, in the same room and liked it very much. The single room is small but fine for 2 days / nights.
There is a good burger house on the corner as you approach the hotel and plenty of other ethnic food places too. Vietnamese, Italian and good old MacD's and KFC. You will not go hungry.
The rates are good, the staff are friendly and helpful and overall I can thoroughly recommend it.

The room needs improvement. The window didn't seem very secure, and I was on the ground floor, so I felt like anyone from outside could get in. It wasn't weatherproof; I could feel the cold air at night and smell smoke from smokers outside, even though the window was supposedly shut! The light above the bed is broken. The bathroom door has water damage and looks terrible.
The room's layout was terrible if I wanted to sit at the table properly with a laptop, as there wasn't enough room for the bed, chair, and me, and the table was in the way.

We had a family room with 2 double beds which was perfect for a 1 night short stay. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The only thing that lets it down is that it is already looking a bit tatty despite being quite new.

The room position meant there was a lot of noise from above..... hard flooring means you can hear every foot step from the room and corridors above. I was in a G room.... down some steps from reception so basically a basement level. Footsteps woke me up around midnight and again around 4am, 5.30am and 6am. Not a good sleep experience at all.

While no doubt the room is clean and tidy, it's tiny 10sqm size is way too small for 2 adults each with a 28\" luggage and a hand-carry bag. My wife & I must take turn to open our luggage atop the bed to take out our essential items, then close up and place the 2 luggage on upright position on narrow passage way by the room entrance in order not to block our entry to restroom. This, however, have effectively blocked the room entry which would post fire hazard.

Luckily we only spent one single night here. Will we ever come back again? NO!

Shower sprayed more water on the ceiling, than actually on me. You had to wedge yourself on the toilet, due to proximity of sink. No mention of how small the room was when booked. Reception staff not the most friendly/welcoming. I won’t be staying again. For the price paid it definitely wasn’t value for money!

The room and hotel was incredibly clean but the bed and room beyond a joke in size. You could only get in one side of the bed and climb over each other to get to the toilet or go to bed. Also had to breathe in to stand at the sink with privacy in the shower. Now small is small and I must say it had all the conveniences - amazingly well thought out but when I accepted small it wasn't thinking it was like that.

Very small room (<90 sq ft) for the price I paid. Twin bed, ensuite bathroom (shower, tiny sink that you had to squeeze around and under to get to the toilet) - but very newly refurbished and clean. Would have rated it very good if that were a choice. Couldn't give it an excellent because of the price per sq ft ratio, and the shower was very hard to figure out the controls on it, and the risk of scalding was high. The smaller shower head could not be raised up because the fitting was broken and it would just slide back down. A/C unit worked fine and a plus was that the room had two small windows one could open for fresh air. Staff was VERY helpful and although there are about 5 or 6 steps to get into the place, the floors themselves are served by lifts. Very close to King's Cross so I'd definitely stay there again.

Bare bones accommodation. REALLY small rooms, no mini fridges in the room, no utensils at the front desk, etc. staff was nice and did what they could do but helpful where possible. And It’s cheap and a modern build so decent accommodation. And hey they give you a couple water bottles and tea bags in the room.

Perfect hotel for a short stay! I needed a room for an overnight stay so booked a single room. The room was small but perfect for what I needed. It was very clean and I felt safe, comfortable and had a good nights sleep.
Only a five minute walk from King’s Cross and Staff were friendly and helpful.
I would definitely stay here again.

When I arrived to check in the receptionist just continued there phone call (it clearly wasn’t a customer call). I’m not overly worried by this, it’s annoying, especially as I was tired but the big problem came next. Finally he gives me a room key, I go to the room, someone is already using that room. I go back, he spends ages faffing around trying to figure out what went wrong while I’m tired waiting for a room, calls his boss to find out what’s happened and to ask what room I can go in - all while I wait, instead of just giving me any available room. I find the whole thing concerning, how can they give a key to a room someone else is already in. It’s a huge danger. I then was worried the rest of the night someone random might come into my room, I had the suitcase wedged between the door and the bed. At check out the receptionist barely said anything, didn’t ask how my stay was and when I asked about luggage storage just said I can leave it in the reception, no tags or security. I’ve used the hotel a number of times before but never again. It no longer feels safe.

The hostel staff were friendly, helpful and professional. At first the area around the property looked a little sketchy, but just down the street are two VERY popular asian restaurants, an Italian restaurant, and around the corner, there is a very popular Vietnamese Restaurant. Smokers are a dirty lot and leave their butts on the sidewalks and it makes the area look dirty. The sidewalk in front of the hostel should be swept more often. Inside the hostel, everything was nice and clean.

On arrival. There was no one on reception. Waited about 3 minutes and someone came to greet us. We had arrived 1 hour before check in. I asked reception if the room was ready. They said it was and if I wanted to go in early, then they would charge me £10. I declined and asked if I could leave my cases somewhere safe so I could go out and have a walk round. They said I could leave it in the hallway with the other cases lined up. I declined this because they had been left unattended when I arrived. Someone could have easily walked in off the street and taken a case. We decided to wait the hour until we could get into the room. Whilst we were waiting, my husband asked if there was a toilet he could use, they said there wasn’t only the one in our room which we could not get in until 3pm.
The bedroom was the smallest double bedroom I have ever stayed in! The double bed was pushed up against the wall and the length of the room was the size of the bed! When opening the door to enter the room, it caught the corner of the bed. Once in the room, there was not enough space for 2 people to stand up and open the case. We had to store the cases under the bed. The bathroom was very small. When using the toilet, your legs were under the hand basin.
The only 2 things I would say which are positive is that the bed was comfortable and the small shower was powerful.

The people at the front desk were nice and friendly. The room was clean but small. I wasn't able to sleep well for a few nights due to the noises outside the hotel. The housekeeping service needs to do a better job in providing amenities because a facial towel and a shower floor mat were not given to us after the cleaned our room for the second time during our stay.

Very small room. But it was clean and comfortable. We did hear door slamming in the hallway occasionally. Would suggest a spring loaded door stopper.
Room was booked for 2 nights. Our flight from home cancelled due to faulty machinery. We were unable to make connections to UK as originally scheduled. I did pay extra for cancellation insurance. However, they will not honor it up to 2 days before checkin. We were able to contact them thru Expedia to hold room booked for 2nd night. We lost money on first nights room. Wish proof of flight cancellation would be enough to refund 1st night.
Nice staff and place to stay at King's Cross. But they need to review their cancellation policy.

I was slightly apprehensive before arrival after reading some negative reviews. However we had a pleasant time at the hotel and have no complaints. Although compact the room was clean, modern and new, and the air con was appreciated . The staff were all lovely and friendly. London hotel rooms are small and I think if you know what to expect you will be less shocked. The hotel was in a great location just 5 mins walk from King’s Cross. I would recommend the hotel and would stay again

I was attending Quantum Commercializing conference at Business Design Center (BDC) 52 Upper St, this is an excellent location for that type of trip, 20 min walk.
The room is small but has everything you need comfortable bed, modern decor, TV, full bathroom, small desk, kettle, I was comfortable here.
Friendly Receptionist - Vidi, she was very accomodating.
10 min walk to subway, great location.
I will definitely stay again, highly recommended.

5 AM Skylight, 6 AM Fire Alarm - Tiny but Chic

Booked the “cosy” category and got a designer shoebox. No windows; instead, a skylight is parked right above the bed, so daylight barges in at 05:30 whether you like it or not. At 06:00 the fire alarm chimed in, turning my early-morning stretch into an impromptu evacuation drill. Coffee never felt so deserved.

The good news: everything inside that tiny footprint is quality. Mattress firm, linens crisp, enough outlets for a tech junkie, and the bathroom fixtures feel more boutique than budget. AC kept things comfortable, and because the room’s buried in the building it’s whisper-quiet - no street noise, no corridor chatter.

The trade-offs: zero natural ventilation (you’ll rely on the AC 24/7) and obviously no view unless you count a patch of morning sky. Storage is Tetris-level minimal, so travel with a capsule wardrobe or be prepared to live out of your suitcase.

Bottom line: great crash-pad if you rise with the sun or just need a clean, stylish base to sleep and shower. If you’re claustrophobic, cherish a lie-in, or want to gaze wistfully out a window, spring for an upgraded room - or another hotel.

No terrestial tv so you have to sign in on your accounts for iPlayer, ITVX etc. also security guard kept tapping on the door to ask what the room number was! Highly irregular in my view. I think a refund may be in order. If you’re thinking of booking a room here - don’t.

The room was super super tiny, no wardrobe or hair dryer. However we kind of figured it out before booking since the size info is listed anyway. Otherwise the room was clean, bed was comfortable and it was very conveniently located. There was coffee/tea available in the room as well as tv. Staff were lovely on check in and check out. I liked the Whatsapp messaging to get the wifi password and iron/ironing board delivered to the room all without having to leave the room and go down to reception but the shower was freezing and when they came to the room to look, the chap clearly had no clue what to do as he just ran it as I had done and said he would get the plumber to attend 9am the next morning which by then I was already at client meetings. They had clearly just ran out of hot water because my neighbours shower was running for a good 40 mins..... I wasn't informed prior to the stay that the kitchen was closed and under construction so paid a fortune for breakfast in a brown paperbag which had I known about, I wouldnt have paid

I’ve stayed here before a while ago, however, when checking in, I had to produce a form of ID, I have no idea why and what they did with my ID when I handed it over. I just thought it was a little strange why I had to produce it when I had made the booking through Hotels.com. They made comment on where I lived, clearly checking my address, although I didn’t feel threatened and it was probably just friendly noticing I was from out of town, again was just strange having to hand ID over for proof of identity having never had to do that before.
Hotel room was really nice and clean and modern, no issues with anything else.

Compact overnight stay at Kings Cross

After reading other reviews we were a bit concerned about our stay, and also the location. Nothing whatsoever to worry about. Location was fine, felt safe walking back at night. Bit of noise from outside during the night but it's central London so to be expected. Room was clean, comfortable and had all you need for an overnight stay when catching a train. Yes, it's very compact, especially the bathroom, but for location and price, no complaints at all. Staff also really friendly, helpful and welcoming, would definitely go back

This room was the size of shoe box, hot and stuffy. The shower was so small my husband who is 6 foot couldn't get in. The view from the window was a dumpsite with rubbish piled high outside.
I'd forgotten my ID to check in even though I had all the emails, and a bank card, the women on reception wasn't listening and kept saying I needed to go home to get my passport, we live 50 miles away.

The room was little but very well designed to offer comfort. Cleaningness is excellent. TV offers also connection to streaming services such as You Tube, Netflix, etc. Complimentary water, tea, cookies were very nice too.
At arrival the receptionist took our luggage to custody because we were too early. We went for a long ride in London and at return our luggage was already in our room. Very good!

The rooms were very modern while a little small. The main problem was that the wi-fi signal was so weak you could not log in and the TV also hardly worked due to the weak signal. So effectively no TV or wi-fi. All else was OK but there are really important on bsiness.

Very small room front desk trying to get from you extra money for early check in even that in my opinion the room was available no effort to help or accommodate guests properly knowing they’ll never come back
Wasn’t happy at all for $200 us a night it felt like I should pay $60 a night
