We stayed at The Judd for a few days this week…. Fabulous, quiet location about a 7 minute walk from kings cross and the same to Russell Square tube so super convenient!

Our room ( G6) was very convenient and clean and our room was changed every day with new towels and bedding. My only other hopefully constructive comment was that this room could have been even lovelier with a lick of paint on the woodwork

Breakfast was lovely!!

Finally a huge shout out for all the lovely staff, from the reception to the breakfast room and housekeeping staff. You all work hard and are doing a great job…. Well done team. We will definitely stay here again!!

The room was cleaned daily. It was extremely small with no fridge. The bathroom was somewhat modern, but the shower was unnecessarily narrow. Not appropriate for a large person. I am fairly small, and even I had trouble soaping myself up in the shower. I think a heavy person would have to step out, lather up, and step back in! The first room I was in had an incredibly noisy machine running all night long. I complained and got a quiet room. The front desk staff was friendly and competent. The breakfast room staff were much less so.

We were in a lower ground room so the view from the window was limited, the room smelt slightly of damp and we were next to the laundry which caused a lot of doors opening and closing. None of these issues overwhelming but collectively distracting. On the upside the breakfast was excellent.

In common with many hotels there is a gloopy check in system with check boxes to agree to conditions no-one is ever going to read. Overuse of IT in common with many others.

The room we were given looked nothing like the advertised room. It was below ground next to the kitchen. The bathroom door didn't open fully as the bed was too close as it was a tiny room. The bathroom smelt horrendous.
The breakfast room was tiny, with people queuing next to our table. Being watched by queuing people isn't my idea of a relaxing breakfast.

It was a nice enough hotel for the one night before travel. Very convenient to Kings Cross. We had heavy suitcases and we placed on the 3rd floor so had lots of stairs to lug our luggage and were exhausted! A lift would have been so very nice.

Where can I start? This is the Temu of London hotels, overpriced and horrible. First I stayed at a different building adjacent to the so called Judd called the Jenkins. The room is crammed if you have cluster-phobia then beware. It was clean but that was it. The food was mediocre the room was outrageously priced for what it is. Do not go there, they use wide angle pictures for their underwhelming property. I will never be back especially that I paid near $300 for a room for less than 12 hours. Beware these scammers!

The hotel is generally shabby -- scratched paint, worn carpets, etc. My room was in the annex across the street, but I wasn't told that when I bought the room. The mattress was terrible -- a small double (not a big double, much less a queen or king) and bth hard and lumpy with springs. We could barely sleep at all. The breakfast had almost no vegan options (though I requested in advance), though the kind Russian lady at breakfast, unfroze some potato things for us. The people at the front desk were efficient but brusque.

The room was spacious, the beds were comfy, the toiletries were luxurious and housekeeping was very efficient.

I woke up at 3 am my first night of an eight night stay to bed bugs crawling on me. The night desk clerk found me another room on the \"third\" floor (it's really the fourth, because the ground floor counts as the first), but didn't offer to help me move my luggage from the ground floor or inspect my new room for potential bugs. Management never contacted me to apologize or check on my wellbeing, I had to contact them. They did refund two nights of my stay, but because I was traveling for both work and vacation, my room was booked on two cards and they automatically refunded the first card. So my company was refunded, but I personally didn't receive anything from the hotel. Bed bugs happen, but I am so disappointed in the lack of concern shown by hotel staff and management.

This is a pleasant hotel in an attractive location. Because of the nature of the building, the rooms may differ in size. Ours was of a reasonable size with good furnishings and very comfortable bed. Lighting was better than in some hotels we have been to. Storage was also quite good. The en-suite while not big, was well equipped, though some of a larger dimension may find the shower a tight squeeze. The breakfast room is very pleasant with a a good choice though the orange juice could have been a bit stronger. The biggest drawback: no lift which could be a problem for some people though the staff will give help if needed. Staff seemed generally pleasant.

Judd Hotel is a bit old, and the floorboards can be noisy. The rooms are on the smaller side, and it takes about 12 minutes to walk to the metro. On the positive side, the location is nice, being close to a park. Breakfast offers plenty of choices with a good selection of drinks, and the staff are very friendly.

This was a great find. An easy short level walk from Kings Cross/St Pancras but felt like a totally different part of the city (on a quiet crescent opposite a small park). Lovely staff, all hard working and friendly. We had a super quiet room on the top floor with a nice coffee machine, shower, an opening window, aircon, good linen. Lots of stairs but that didn’t bother us. Great pubs nearby and 25 minute walk to the West End past The British Museum. Breakfast was surprisingly great value being complimentary-with good quality bacon & sausage, cold options, toast etc. Would definitely stay again.
