However there was a planned power outage to accommodate government regulations the day after our arrival between 10-17;00 and we were not told in advance which was quite inconvenient so thats why i give a 4 star. Hotel was excellent, breakfast buffet was 10/10 and easy place to get a grab or taxi. Only complaint is 3 days in a row we had the “do not disturb” button on and while we were trying to nap the housekeeping would call to ask if we wanted a clean, disturbing us from our naps. Defeats the whole purpose of the sign. Other than that it was great!

This is a five start hotel. Is it excellent? I’d say, just about average in the 5 star category. If the cost per night would be similar, go for Four Seasons, Park Hyatt, Ritz or Mandarin and so on. If Kempinski trades at half cost per night of the usual leaders then maybe a good choice but the overall high ratings for the Kempiniski Sindhorn hotel on Expedia are too high. Think of it as all the ones that are rating this hotel are family’s with kids or a consultant that stays for a week.

I like really excellent luxury hotels and this hotel doesn’t make the cut in my honest opinion. You can get equally good hotels in Bangkok for US 250/300 per night.

But let me finish with a few positives: large rooms, balcony, good AC with low noise levels, comfortable beds, quiet, some room comes with pentry if you like to cook on your holiday or travel with kids, good location and easy to haul cabs, comfortable distance to most places, washing machine, iron and ironing board of good quality, overall a solid place for staying longer with kids or for work. But less of a weekend hotel.

We have traveled the world over the last two decades, and our family came to a consensus that this was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at. The architectural design of the interior and exterior of the hotel is breathtaking. The interior design and the rooms are impeccable. The food was outstanding. It is definitely worth it to upgrade to the executive club option as the evening cocktail hour had incredible drinks and a full dinner option. Above all, the service provided by every member of the hotel. Staff was exceptional and made our family feel so welcome and at home.

We stayed for one night and had two rooms. The experience was great. The rooms were very spacious well appointed, comfortable, clean, and quiet. The hotel service was exemplary and facilities excellent all around. We also used their lobby cafe for an afternoon tea, which was quite nice. Hotel location is in a calmer part of Bangkok yet is close to major attractions. Highly recommended.

We stayed 2 nights with our 4 year old daughter and 1 year old son. It was our first experience with an Kempinski Hotel and it was excellent. It is a well maintained Hotel; and I’m picky. Spacious, immaculately clean guest rooms with well thought layouts and design. Friendly and competent service without pretense. Thai food via room service was less than stellar, out right horrible actually but the food ordered through the Deli and delivered to our room was excellent. Nutritious, super clean and healthy. Just a great Hotel and we will likely return.

The room was very spacious and staff was helpful. Very happy with the hotel except it’s a bit further away from the main shopping area. They do provide half hourly shuttle bus to the main shopping area and an hourly shuttle back to the hotel with one pick up point. Love the wellness center as they do provide various classes like spin, HIT, Pilate etc. There’s a “village”, like a small mall that have many eateries there. The food was good.

Beautiful hotel in a very convenient location! The hotel is lovely and the service was excellent, everyone we encountered were extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and had great variety of international and local cuisine. My wife and son enjoyed their afternoon tea as well. The free shuttle to the nearest station was also helpful.

On our last day they sent a birthday cake for my wife, whose birthday was two days later. Very kind gesture. We will definitely return next time we are in Bangkok.

There are some hotels in the world that you’ll never forget, and the Sindhorn Kempinski is definitely one of them. This place is the epitome of five-star luxury, the crème de la crème. It’s so comfortable that you feel a bit sad leaving every day, but coming back feels amazing. The design and architecture are flawless, a perfect 10/10. The staff are incredibly accommodating, and the facilities—the gym, spa, and pool—are just out of this world. The restaurants, featured in the Michelin guide, offer fantastic food and wellness menus. The location is absolutely superb too. Trust me, I’ve stayed at the St. Regis and Four Seasons around the world, and this is a hotel you should definitely stay at in Bangkok. I can’t wait to come back someday.

The hotel is perfect, clean, nice, big, and has a very good spa. You need to make sure that your room has spa access included, otherwise, you have to pay additionally to use it. We had to pay additionally and we didn't regret it. If you find malls a bit far from the hotel, they have a shuttle minivan to take you there. Right outside of the hotel, there are plenty of dining, coffee, and dessert options. There is a supermarket, beauty salon, and even an aesthetic clinic right outside. Probably from now on we will always try to stay here, it was very comfortable and pleasant.

Property was bomb AF. TALK ABOUT INSTAGRAMMABLE!! It's an influencer's paradise. The property had a beautiful smell throughout which was pleasant. None of that cheap ish you smell at bath and body.
I felt like I was in a jungle oasis in the middle of the MF'in city. Thai massage was also a must at the spa. Hurt like hell and was twisted like a pretzel but definitely worth it.

This is my must go to hotel at Bangkok. Every other hotel pales in comparison.

I loved just about everything about this hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms are lovely. There’s a piano player in the lobby every evening, nightly jazz at the firefly bar. Our room included breakfast and there were endless options. The massage was just ok (maybe the therapist had an off day) but everything else was amazing. We will definitely stay here again.
