Do not stay here - health compromising and disappointing experience.

The hotel is extremely dated and in urgent need of renovation. More concerning, however, were the cleanliness and air quality. There was visible mold in the room, along with a strong, persistent damp smell that made the environment feel unhealthy and uncomfortable.

When I reported this, staff sprayed air freshener, which only temporarily masked the smell rather than addressing the root cause. I was then moved to another room, which had a very strong bleach smell - so overpowering it was difficult to stay in. As the bleach smell faded, the same damp, moldy odour became noticeable again.

It quickly became clear this is not an isolated issue. You can smell the dampness as soon as you step off the escalator, it’s throughout the hotel. The use of air freshener and bleach makes it seem like the hotel is aware of the issue but attempting to mask it rather than properly fix it.

Mold and damp are not just unpleasant - they pose real health risks, particularly for respiratory issues and allergies. Staying in these conditions felt unsafe.

I chose to check out early. I was offered a third room, but declined as it was clear the issue is widespread throughout the hotel.

Despite explaining the situation, I was told that nothing could be done due to the non-refundable rate. This response from management was extremely disappointing. For your own health and comfort, stay somewhere else.

The room was a pleasant surprise. Ac was cold, staff was pleasant. In room laundry was super helpful. The spa is separate men’s and women’s for jacuzzi and amenities. The pool was very pretty and family friendly. Very close walk to the malls and shopping.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel. We love the elegance, cleanliness and location. Upon our arrival we were given an unexpected upgrade to a gorgeous suite! The breakfast buffet is excellent! It has such variety, both Asian and Canadian choices. We will definitely stay here again!

This is my second stay at this hotel, and the main reason is its great facilities and amenities. The breakfast spread is abundant and caters to all people. It is a short walk to a BTS, which is always a plus. I highly recommend this hotel for your next visit to Bangkok.

Clean, spacious room with an amazing view of the cityscape of Bangkok. Within 15 minutes’ walk of the ginormous “Central World” shopping centre. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had the international buffet breakfast on our first morning and it was delightful. It’s a very big hotel but was peaceful and orderly and we loved our stay here.

Hotel did not meet my expectation relative to the price paid for booking on 28 Dec 2025 to 6 Jan 2026.

Lobby and public areas were in good condition, however the hallway and room on floor 25 and 22 were very visibly needing repair and refurbishment.

Also had concerns on finding hair on my bed and bathroom.

Reported my concerns and was granted a room change. However cleanliness and condition of the new room remained concerning.

A deeply disappointing stay :far from a 5-star experience

From the moment we arrived, the hotel failed to meet even basic expectations. The check-in staff were noticeably unfriendly, setting an unwelcoming tone for the entire stay.

The room itself was extremely dark, lacking proper lighting and creating an unpleasant atmosphere.

Breakfast was, without exaggeration, terrible, limited options, poor quality, not fresh, and absolutely not worth the additional cost we paid in advance. We ended up eating outside every single morning.

Overall, the property felt more like an apartment building than a hotel, certainly not a 5-star establishment, not even 3 stars. Service throughout our stay was barely acceptable, and the general experience was overwhelmingly disappointing.

I would not recommend staying here.

The staff were very kind and everything was clean and tidy. The hotel is a bit old, especially after staying in a different hotel from this same chain. The wood smell is very strong, if it bothers you. Also right next to the hotel there’s a huge construction site - personally we stayed on a very high floor so we didn’t hear it but walking to the hotel near there was a bit uncomfortable

Enjoyed our second stay. Fix the HVAC.

This is our second time staying at this lovely hotel with a friendly staff. However, the HVAC system needs a complete cleaning. From the moment we walked in, we could smell the musky, dampness in the living area of the suite. The bedroom, which is on a separate system, was fine. The musky odor was the present during our entire stay.

The complimentary snacks are appreciated. I really liked having a washing machine/dryer in the suite.

I had an excellent stay at the Grand Centerpoint. The location is excellent, in Siam, close to Siam Paragon CentralWorld and other shopping. The room was very comfortable and the service was excellent. I really appreciate having a kitchen and washing machine, makes my stay so much more comfortable. The swimming pool was also lovely. Breakfast was very good with many options. I have subsequently stayed here again and look forward to staying again in the future.

The accommodation was excellent, and the staff are very helpful. We loved the pool, which was actually the reason we chose this hotel. It definitely didn’t disappoint. People considering this hotel might want to bear in mind that it doesn’t sell alcohol. We missed this fact, though it’s specified on the hotel website. My partner got some beers from a nearby 7/11 so it wasn’t an issue for us - more of a surprise.

Can’t beat the location—right in the middle of Bangkok near CentralWorld and the BTS. The rooms are huge, more like apartments, and having a full kitchen is super convenient. Great choice if you want space and comfort while staying close to everything.

Location is good.
Staff are fine.
But you will probably not be able to sleep. It is a popular hotel with Arabs, and they often bring their kids. The kids run up and down the halls screaming and yelling. Hotel probably needs to have signs that explain proper etiquette.
