I had a very pleasant stay at Urbana Langsuan. The location is convenient, the room was clean and spacious, and the staff (San) and doormen were friendly and helpful. A comfortable hotel with good facilities. The staff here are very honest. This is my fourth stay, and during my second visit, I accidentally left my passport and money at the hotel room . I called, and the reception staff immediately arranged a reliable driver and brought them to me at the airport. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

Location wise it’s on Lang Susan road so very close to the shopping/business district of the Central World. Easy access to the BTS

Room was clean modern and well maintained. Washer/dryer is a plus for longer stay. Breakfast was adequate with all major breakfast foods provided. Well priced hotel for what you get

Great rooftop pool, Great balcony views VIP feel

Great hotel, Great location great staff!
This lobby and rooms had the feel of a VIP resort service level!
The staff are truly seconded to NONE!
From being greeted from our taxi with the car door being opened to bags being carried for us!
They do have laundry services and complementary detergent at front desk! Airport shuttle wasn’t offered but they helped us arrange taxi!
Loaded our bags into the taxi!
Have an amazing edges rooftop pool! On the 35th floor! This is a must book so much to see in Bangkok, this was truly a beautiful place to come home each night!

The restaurant (after breakfast) was massively limited and expensive
The breakfast bar was generally good, but the music was terrible: loud lift music type jazz
Having a washing machine in the room was excellent
No bath, only a shower
Room service only comes if you hit the light to clean the room but they are very good and helpful when they do come
The gym is good
Rooftop pool is good
Like others have said, generally a bit run-down
Convenient 7-11 store over the road 2 minutes away

We stayed on a two bedroom property,very convenient as we can cook and wash clothes.Location is close to Lumphini park,Pratrunam Market and Siam Paragon. Hotel staff are the star of the stay for being welcoming helpful and friendly.Will recommend Urbana Langsuan and I will stay here again for sure.

Nice and spacious room. But the aircon in our unit was either freezing cold or hot! We couldn’t adjust the right temperature. Breakfast was quite nice. The pool was on the rooftop with the amazing view; although, we couldn’t find any pool towels.

Bad services and Bad security practises

Bad Experience with the staff and the room. Hotel did not take due diligence to have honest driver to services the guest and also security practise is bad.

Hotel recommended us to use the hotel driver to visit the floating market and Maekong Train Market Tour. We accepted the price. But the driver bought us to take the boat tour which cost 3000Baht per boat ( 4person ) which is motorise where is there option which cost 150Baht per person by manual row which we later found out.

The driver should at least advise us the option and let us choose. Price difference is TOO MUCH!!

2nd BAD experience, same driver offer to send us to the airport at 300baht and later change of driver the next day and charge us 700baht. The orginal driver did not even tell us will be other driver.

The worst was that the hotel porter loaded our lugguage onto the car when the driver told the porter he is here to pick us base on room number.

We did not even know when we saw our luggages in the car and wonder why our luggages is inside an unknown car.

The porter should at least seek permission before loading the luggages.

NICE PLACE BUT THE STAFF ARE APPALLINGLY BAD!!

THE GOOD

Urbana Langsuan in Bangkok is a very nice apartment property. My wife and I have stayed many times there so we do obviously like the place.
This most recent visit on 9-10 July 2019 was very pleasant. We had a lovely room with a great view.

THE BAD

Check in when we arrived at Urbana Langsuan on 9 July took more or less forever. Photocopies of driver's licence and my Thai wife's identity card, filling out registration form, handing over an obligatory deposit of 1,000 baht. The process with no-one waiting before us took way too long at more than 10 minutes.

My request for a possible upgrade from the Studio room to a One bedroom apartment of course fell on the usual Thai deaf ears. Don't ever expect anything for nothing in Thailand.
The worst part of this visit was when I needed tea and sugar to be brought to our room. My wife phoned once and was told it would come in a few minutes. That didn't happen. She phoned again two hours later. \"Solly solly, we bring now\". That of course didn't happen either.
Finally, after some three hours from the original request for tea and sugar, I went to reception and gave the people there a proper serve, asking then if they'd ever heard of customer service.

Yes, Urbana Langsuan is a very nice apartment place and very conveniently located in Bangkok.
But, the staff are appallingly bad. They really have no idea what customer service is and make no effort at all on their guests' behalf.
Such a disappointment.

Second time stayed in this hotel but this time was real bad. Room looks nice but found many cockroachs in my room.! Took some photos and showed to frontdesk, they did offer me things to make up what happened but I would like them to improve on the cleaning part. This is unacceptable and make me feel like I'd never wanna stay in this hotel again. I wish I can upload picture of those cockroachs here.

7 night shopping visit to Bangkok in November.....

Good location. Walking distance from most malls. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. Comfortable room but could do with better amenities. Kitchen had plates but no bowls. Difficult to have noodles n soup. They did not provide bowls even after asking. So am guessing they didn’t have any. Bathrooms had mirrors but no mirrors in bedrooms. Master bedroom had connected toilet but 2nd bedroom toilet was atleast 15/20 ft away from room. Rooms lacked luggage tables. Packing unpacking was done sitting on floor or bending over. Very uncompromising staff. Despite a 7 night stay we were refused a 1 hr extension for late checkout. And hotel was not running full occupancy. Hotel lacked a travel desk. So was difficult to get information. Reception had only 2 people so was difficult to get a word in at any time. Breakfast was decent.. ends at 10am on weekdays. Restaurant staff was friendly n concierage service was very helpful. If Bangkok is a shopping trip then would definitely recommend this hotel. If it’s your first trip then give this place a skip as no travel desk.

It was a nice big room at the very corner end- so wifi could not reach the room- had to catch internet in the hallway by the elevators- sheets were not cleaned and had dried blood stains - room was no properly prepped with any towels and no shampoo for arrival. We had a bad and unfriendly check in experience with a quite unfriendly receptionist. Our reservation included buffet breakfast but there must have been a comunicación error between Expedia and the Hotel and the receptionist kept insisting on no breakfast but in a nasty way and instrusting way. Many unfriendly facial features! Finally the internet of the hotel worked and I was able to download the complete reservation. I went downstairs and showed the receptionist and she took a picture and said she would get back to us which she never did... I also said I wanted to talk to the manager in charge and i was never able to do so.
Later in my stay I then realized how friendly the rest of the staff was except for the lady that checked us in.

Spend the money and go nicer.

Understaffed. Called for laundry pick up took so long I ended up bring it down myself. Takes awhile for maids to get rooms cleaned.
Was told the jacuzzi would be out of service for a month, which is one of the reasons I booked.
The elevators are old and slow and there’s not enough of them.
The lobby looks fancy.
Location isn’t great.
Spend the extra money and stay somewhere in a better location that is nicer, newer, and with enough staff.

Good customer service . Friendly staffs and beautiful apartment. It has some outdated things in the room, but it's a place to stay if you are spending your holiday with 2 - 4 people. And there's a 7 eleven close by the hotel. Good for late snacks and beverages. A little bit further down the street there a Starbucks. A place worth spending your time with family and friends.

My family & I visit BKK every year, & we will always stay in Urbana Langsuan as we liked the idea of sharing the same apartment. However, we have saw the standards getting lower each year. Our shower was faulty this time - 1) water goes from cold to hot suddenly (& vice vesa) 2) water was squirting out of the shower connecting pipe 3) the shower handle broke off but we managed to screw it back in 4) entire shower body came off - not exaggerating, this was really what happened. The floor was also sticky & tables were dusty. We probably will try out another hotel during our next visit. This is unacceptable considering we come back every year & saw the drop in room standards.

Stayed there 3 years ago and noticed the aging of the hotel. Nice and helpful staff in the lobby and restaurant. Housekeeping not that great, some days forgot to leave toilet papers, or hand towels, to refill shower gel or to remove thrash. Called for a scale and never got it. Booked a 2 bedroom for 4 persons and didn't have enough flatware. Had to request an additional chair as we had only 3 chairs.

Aircon in the room (room3103)is working fine but there's this glass partition between the bedroom and the aircon, making it stuffy and hot at night despite me blasting the aircon. 2nd issue is with the key access to the room. I have got to proceed to the reception twice to reset the key but still can't work and was told the key system has no battery. This is a hassle that can be prevented. Other than that the checkin and check out process is alright.

The hotel is set back from the road and a bit difficult to find the entrance which is not a good start.
Some of the staff were very good as you expect in Thailand but more where not that friendly or helpful.
The breakfast buffet was just OK in range and service.
The room had previous occupant underwear still in room when we got there.
Costs for massages just well over the top at Hotel compared to reputable business houses almost next door. No instructions to use the washing machine or anything else.
Crockery and cutlery in limited supply in room.
Bed rock hard.
I've said enough.

I can not even watch youtube 360P video. So awful.
Counter lady tell me they have only 1 router , can't afford so many customer.

Very Dirty in the room and smell bad. It is so scary that I found cockroach in the kitchen, the kitchenware not yet cleaned and looks oily. Furniture are old as well as I don’t think they had changed the bed sheet when a new guest check in.
Anyway, everything for me about the room which gave me a utterly experience and I think I will never come back to this hotel again in the future.

The pictures on expedia are definitely taken from the best angles, as the pool is not an infinity pool close to the edge, its merely in the middle of the roof, with a little kiddie pool below. We found the pool was dirty, with cigarette butts in it. However the view from the pool level was amazing. You could see most of Lumphini park.
The room was clean, and the bed was big, however the air con took a while to work, and sometimes would not work unless we turned the system on/off multiple times. This was annoying, as the room heated up during the day with the sunlight that the curtains let into the room, and it took a long time to cool down the room when we got back at the end of the day.
The bathroom was also big, and the shower had great water pressure, and very hot water if needed.
The TV had bad reception, so no channels were able to be watched.
The street the hotel was on has quite a few construction sites, so we did hear building at all hours during the day and early morning.
The location was fantastic for us as we could walk to the Pratunam markets/neon markets, and the was a little shopping centre maybe 5mins walk from the hotel that had cafes/restaurants, a mini supermarket, and salon/spa services.
Also the BTS was within a 10min walk, and was very easy to use to go longer distances. We rarely used taxis!

Very nice place to stay but wi-fi is a problem

Stayed here several times. My wife and I like it very much. Staff are friendly, helpful and speak very good English and that is a rare thing in Thailand for a start.
My only small gripe was that the wi-fi in the room we had this time was really NOT good a time all. I was unable to use my iPad at all and my wife's iPad was also unable to connect. This is not a deal breaker as we have 'phones as well but it would be nice to have good wi-fi connection.

Apartments in good conditions with good service .

I spent almost a month.
Location is excellent you have everything at walking distance .
Good understanding of Customer service by all the employees.Especial recognition to Bryan , Niki ( Recepction) and Johnson.
I have a very pleasant stay.

No special service for loyal and frequent guests

I am a regular guest of this hotel. But am very disappointed that they will not make a special case for me to change my hotel dates as I accidentally input the wrong dates for my bookings.. I booked the dates thinking it was still November. Very pity as I really enjoyed this hotel and I had to lose 1 night stay due to a typo error and they will not accept. Will not come back again

this hotel has to be redone ....

this place has to be torn down and redone again...the lifts do not work the showers are broken , the wcs are so low that i though they might break trying to sit on them ....the full place needs an overall.....i would not recommend this plaCE

The 3 bed rooms suite is wonderful for my family of eight members stayed. The living room is very spacious for all together and my grandson could running all around. It is value for money and a good choice apart from those luxury hotels.

Poor housekeeping

Only bath towels available in the room. No hand towel or face towel. Bath towels were not top up for the second day. Called housekeeping multiple times- no answer - have to walk down to reception to request for towels. Bad experience.

Good basic hotel with spacious rooms

Spacious rooms, good hotel, good location for being close to malls, however overall hotel, lobby, bar, rooms and facikities are basic. Rooms are a little dated but comfortable. Mg view wasn't great. Overall a 3 out of 5

Comfortable and affordable

Overall it was a pleasant stay. What I liked most was the affordability, the spaciousness of the apartment and close proximity to public transport, food and shopping places which were a stone's throw away.

The stay was pleasant. Staffs were really approachable and helpful. It was my birthday during my stay and there was a surprise of the word 'Happy Birthday' written with yellow rose petal and towel made swan and elephant on my bed. Our room were made with slippers welcoming us at the doorstep everytime we got back to our hotel. (Room slippers can be provided at no cost upon request). There is a convenient shop about 5 to 10 mins and a Starbucks about 10 to 15 mins walk away. Great for people who needs caffeine to kick start your day. They also provide a decent variety of daily breakfast.

However, the balcony was not really clean and the nearest BTS (Chit Lom) is about 15 mins walk away. You may have to walk in the alley to reach the hotel (quite scary because it can be really quiet at night, especially for girls). As it was my birthday, a complimentary spa was given. Although the staff was nice and friendly, I did not enjoy the spa treatment (not really relaxing).

Overall, I am grateful for the stay! All the staff were really friendly and approachable.
