Excellent stay
Sarai
Bathroom was half clean, shower was not. Not enough towels and not enough staff in the property. They were really trying and overwhelmed. Breakfast selection was good.
Maria
A quiet, clean, and safe place; the people were very friendly, and there was hot coffee available all day—I loved it.
Eva
Location was fine but too ghetto

I have stayed at Tru hotels before and enjoyed staying at them, but this was not a good look at this one. I was only here a couple of nights. Here are my issues,
1-The toilet was loose and rocked when you get up and down. the bolts that hold it to the flange were loose,
2- breakfast stopped at 9am, usually they are 10am- and it wasn't the best as far as looks and taste.
3- The ice machine on the 4th floor looks like it has not been used in a while, so we had to go to the 1st floor for Ice.
4- Room being stocked for toilet products correctly
5- This was a big one. We gave the toilet and sink a wipe down because it looks like it had not been clean and we got in around 7 or 8 pm.
I will think twice about booking at a tru hotel again.

Clean room. Close to all the fun festivities. Worth the stay
Harvey
Love this stay. I will definitely stay again.
Ana
Clean hotel, nice staff
Rachel
AC in room didn’t work well. Outlet in bathroom didn’t work. Breakfast was decent, not outstanding though. Room was clean, except for some mold on hidden part of all soap dispensers in shower. Front desk staff there to do job, but not friendly and seemed easily annoyed at pretty much everything.
Jocelyn
The rooms need microwaves. And my main complaint is how I was charged a day before I arrived. The justification was ‘The hotel is almost completely booked and that helps us avoid declined cards’ not verbatim but I do have a screenshot.
I don’t think that idea is conducive. Also, just because a card may decline doesn’t mean that the money isn’t there. People lock their cards.

Lo recomiendo Muy limpio y muy buen servicio.

Enjoyable stay, clean room, helpful staff, and good location.
Kierra
Hotel was great and served its purpose. Only issue we had was no one coming by with fresh sheets and towels when the sign wasn’t on the door. Other than that, front desk staff was helpful and nice
Nathan
Not terrible, but definitely stayed at better hotels for the money. Didn't sleep well at all.
Gordon
Your staff was unbelievable, I had a medical episode and Danielle went above and beyond to help us.she called EMS who transported me to the hospital, then called for an Uber for my wife to get to the hospital. Danielle even loaded our luggage in to our truck so we could return home. My wife and I can not thank her enough .SHE IS THE EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH in our eyes.Thank again Danielle.
Danny
Check in staff was a little abrupt, seemed in a rush even though no one else was checking in and a little frustrated when I asked questions.
The room was simple, not up to some of the standards I have experienced as a Hilton honors member.

Will not stay here again
Gary
Clean room, accommodating staff, typical breakfast. Well kept but small parking lot, small pool and exercise area.
Denise
Clean rooms and common areas
Elizabeth
The water barely got hot. The staff was rude. I was told there was no fee for early check in and told the opposite when I arrived early. Also told the mini fridge had a freezer, it did not. There was no closet or dresser for clothing. I do not recommend this hotel.
Sylvia
No ice bucket or microwave in the rooms

I don’t often leave reviews unless I believe it is warranted. I did like that there was breakfast but that was also kind of a joke because nothing was refilled if something ran out. I didn’t like how none of the staff actually spoke to each other. They often didn’t seem like they knew what as going on. On the 3rd night they shut off the hot water to the entire building and didn’t tell anyone unless they asked. Another thing that really irritated me was It was supposedly put in the notes that I had a service dog with me but was constantly asked if it was a pet or service dog even though he was wearing his service vest with his info on it. Come check out time I had a rather large pet fee that I shouldn’t have been charged because the service animal was never added to the pet section. House keeping never came to our room once and when needed anything replaced we had to do it ourselves. We were there for a total of 9 days for my graduation. If I could have been refunded, I would have checked out and went to a different hotel. All in all, I won’t be booking with TRU again unless it is a last resort. Who knows if this review will actually see the light of day…one could only hope…

Our first room had mold. Got to the second room and there was a towel and blood in the sink. We had to bring our dirty towels down just to get new towels (very time consuming if you’re in a rush). It is the hotel had better up keeping I’m sure it would not be in the condition it’s in currently, because it’s actually nice.

The hotel staff do not turn the hot water heater on until 5am. So, if you are looking to take a shower before work or an event that occurs in the morning, get ready to take an ice cold shower. The staff responded to concerns with apathy. Although the rooms and eating area looked clean from afar, the surfaces were dirty. I would not recommend.

Breakfast didn't have any dairy or sugar free items as options. Ad well as for creamer.
The mattress was very hard.

We waited almost 10 minutes at the front desk for the agent to come back to the front desk and check us in. Then there were being unattended, loud and obnoxious children in the lobby, which the agent saod somwtbing to them as he was coming back to the desk. Later there were children running up and down and talking loudly in the hallway during quiet hours. There was only apples and bananas for fruit at breakfast. More fruit options would be great. There was not very much for breakfast for a guest with dietary issues. It would be nice if there were some gluten and dairy free choices.

Everything was ok except there being pink mold in the bathroom and the air from the A/C smelled like mildew. The elevators weren’t operating well. There was a delay of the doors opening when stopping at each floor. Sometimes you would have to press the floor number again for it to open. There were two but one wasn’t working majority if the time.
Vibhuti

Unfortunately we checked out within 30 minutes...there was black mold in the bathroom, water damage, and not clean. Took about 5 minutes to get someone to come to the front desk. Only saw one staff member who seemed to be doing it all. When Expedia reached out about for a refund, the staff available wasnt authorized to do a refund. Avoid this place.

The entire experience was very underwhelming. We stayed for 5 days and were shocked at how small everything was. The room was the smallest I have ever rented. The refrigerator was tiny. There were absolutely NO drawers to store any of our clothes. We literally had to live out of our suitcase for 5 days. There were pegs on the wall we could hang things on. The provided minimal towels and when I asked for another, they wanted a trade! The walls and celing are paper thin and we heard every movement upstairs and every door seemed to close with a bang. Our door needed an extra push to get it to latch and it sounded like everyones door needed that extra bang. We will not be staying here ever again.

Nice, modern hotel. Bright and colorful! Very small rooms though, but nice lounge areas in lobby. We especially enjoyed the pool table! The breakfast was good. Mainly packaged omelettes, sausage, fruit, cereal, and mini pancakes you can make! The kids loved that. There’s a nice heated pool, but the area around it needs remodeling. It’s gives a motel vibe with an updated pool. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

When we first checked in, we were given a room that someone was already staying in. Bags everywhere, trash, beds unmade. We were told they were checking out. We then got another room where every time you left the room, the door stopper would pop out after closed. So when we return to room we had to wait for staff to let us in to unblock the stopper. Just overall terrible, not good, not pleasant and will not be back at a Tru by Hilton.
Billy
Excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Having traveled for 25 years I have to say the bed pillows were the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced
Like a bunch of rags in a pillow case
Asked for replacement but just as bad and stuffed 2 in 1 case to get by

Ethan
The complimentary breakfast was horrible. Everything was gone and nothing was stocked. Very disappointed.
Melisa
Comfortable bed, clean room.
Was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was average, didnt have many options. Would possibly stay again, not for the breakfast or the staff since they were kind of rude and not accommodating and hopefully what happened doesn't happen again. Couldn't use elevator since power went out. We were on the 2nd floor which we didnt have to climb too many stairs. I have bad knees, need a replacement so had to go slow. 4hours later, still no power, was close to check out when power came back on. We showered in the dark!
They could do better and find staff that are not rushing you to leave the breakfast area even when its still 2 hours left to serve with no one waiting. We should have got a discount for not having power or a/c for hours! I asked and the front desk said no, the power should be back up shortly. Overall, I rate it a 6.5.
