The location was great/waterfront property. The premises was very clean. The staff was friendly and engaging. The bed was super comfortable (I slept well every night). The breakfast changed a little every day which I appreciated.
My only complaints - The gas grill was difficult to light and there were no clear instructions posted on how to light them. I spoke with maintenance about the issue and was told they needed to be replaced but that would not be done until after the busy vacation season. I would have thought it should be done before then. Also a GFI outlet on the back deck was not working. When brought to the attention of maintenance, I was told he didn't think he had any GFI outlets in stock. Never saw him checking to see if the outlet was in fact not working.
I would absolutely stay at this location again for it's location, cleanliness and engaging staff.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful however I had to request for my room to be cleaned twice! The first time housekeeping totally skipped my room, even though the sign was on my door to have my room clean, and I requested with the front desk to have it cleaned. They still did not clean it upon seeing that my room was not clean. I had to go back to the front desk to request that it be recalled. The staff at the front desk made me aware that this had been an ongoing theme of the week that rooms were not being clean or being partially clean by the housekeeping staff. The front desk staff reassured me that my room would be clean that day however it was not. I went to the front desk the next day, requesting for a full clean on my room due to the fact, we had spilled red wine on the linen in the bed and needed to have clean linen changed upon returning to my room. The room appeared to have been cleaned however, when I pull the covers back on the bed, the stain sheets were still on the bed. I then reached out to housekeeping, was placed on hold, went down to the front desk and formally complaint the gentleman working the front desk, then told me to talk to the head of housekeeping who had already clocked out and was on her way out the door. I spoke with the head of housekeeping, and she herself took time after having clocked out for her day and came up to my room, saw what had been done and immediately addressed the issue.

The stay was just as expected and if ever in the area, I will definitely stay at the location again. I'll go one step further and even recommend it to others.

Exceptional hotel. Clean room. Courteous staff. Delicious breakfast. Nice spacious rooms. Only problem i experienced was NOT with the actual room, it was with the booking through Expedia. Traveling with a family of 4, including a child so space was very valuable for a 2 night stay. I booked a room with 2 queen beds, a sofabed, and balcony. Room was confirmed by Expedia. However, when I arrived at the hotel, the staff kindly informed me that they did not have such room available that I booked. They offered me the option to take a room with a 1 bed, a sofa bed, and no balcony or cancel altogether. I opted to take the available room since it was a nice hotel and didn’t have time to find something else. To be fair, the hotel tried to contact me to tell me about the problem but I did not get the message until after I arrived. Needless to say, our sleeping arrangements and space was cramped. Not what we paid for. Asked about reimbursement but was told I would have to contact the third party. Contacted Expedia and spent more time than I anticipated trying to resolve the issue. All in all. Exceptional hotel. Disappointed in the booking experience through Expedia. Partially resolved.

Could not ask for a better experience and place to stay. Everything was perfect in every way. My only qualm was not having a balcony room that photos seem to show but there not actually being any.

What I loved most were the pillows and the cleanliness. The breakfast could use a bit more variety—bacon was missing. Aside from that, everything was excellent. Oh, and you really need to install a detergent dispenser so guests can purchase detergent in the laundry room! The staff was excellent!! Just a few minor suggestions—nothing major—and a reminder for guests not to smoke, because the smoke from what they’re smoking drifts right into the room!

HOTEL.COM Took me for a Joke

The reason for the one star is not because of residence inn. It’s because of Hotel.com. I was told by hotel.com that I would get a water view and a balcony on my anniversary on June 16. At 7:43 am. Which I was only able afford one night.. I was played around with from the beginning from the representative to the claim department. They sent emails and asking me to reply back knowing that I couldn’t reply. I was constantly getting undelivered emails back. It was being honest for me especially when it comes to reservations. Don’t lie to me and tell me something and then when I try to solve the problem by reaching to a higher department, I still get lied to and put in a circle with no problem solving… As a business you stand up for your mistakes and take a fall no matter what to keep people coming. Don’t think cause me just being one person what stop anything. Slowly people will not make reservations. I was waiting to make my review to see what will hotel.com do - If they would’ve solve my problem the honest and business way. I would’ve left a great review if they would’ve did there job correctly- But thanks residence Inn for the wonderful stay it was just hotel.com that didn’t delivered…

EXCELLENT PROPERTY!

Everything was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Check-in was a breeze! The breathtaking view of the water from the lobby just takes your breath away. The rooms were HUGE and SPACIOUS! I give this property at 10/10! Only thing I hate was no jacuzzi, but the fire pit overlooking the water was amazing!

Not so GOOD!!! The room was excellent .

When we arrived the room that i received was not the room that I reserved so i had to pay 150.00 dollars extra for the room that I booked. I was so disappointed we drove almost 4 hours and got there and my reservations was not correct.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It crossed over weekend and weekdays. The staff was friendly and had the perfect amount of attentiveness and urgency to address a varied amount of customer questions. The room was clean and smelled pleasant. The pool and grounds were well kept. It was peaceful and the view was great from the patio.

Nice place, but small rooms

The facility overall presented a pleasing atmosphere. Breakfast offerings were satisfactory; however, there was a notable last-minute rush each day, leading to the depletion of many items. Although the staff was amenable to replenishing these items upon request, it was unexpected for this issue to recur daily.

The room's size was a point of disappointment, reflecting what seems to be a newer, smaller standard for Residence Inn. The constrained space proved to be challenging for accommodating two people over several days. While the inclusion of a desk was beneficial for work-related activities, the lack of separate spaces within the room meant that any meetings or calls were unavoidably shared between my wife and me, which was less than ideal.

The staff performance was commendable, consistently delivering a high level of service.

The property's proximity to the waterfront added a delightful aspect to our stay, though the experience was somewhat marred by the less appealing neighborhoods encountered upon crossing the nearby road. The gym facilities were a highlight, being both well-equipped and meticulously maintained.

Not a good experience

My husband and I recently celebrated 27 years of marriage, this was our first stay at this residence inn. The hotel is a newly built hotel and a nice hotel. However,I was very upset that this hotel charged my card almost a $1000 for a $40 incidental hold when my room stay was paid in advance through a 3rd party. I do appreciate the manager apologizing and adding points to my account for the inconvenience. In my opinion management needs to make sure their staff is well trained before letting them check guest in their rooms. This was a total headache for my husband and I, no manager was available when this happen to correct the issue immediately. I had to wait on the manager to be available, which was 48 hours later, call my financial institute, moving forward the hold was lifted 3-4 days after departure. I understand mistakes happen, however this was a awful experience and ruined my anniversary trip. Just be aware and careful when swiping your card for a incidental hold.
