If you need a cheep place expect the worse, truly the cleaning staff does not clean there was moldy food in our room and dust everywhere, the manager told us to clean the room ourselves and the door on the room had a large enough crack in it that we could see outside. Please for the safety of your family and your personal sanity find a different place to stay.
Kristina
Trip Thursday night thru Sunday morning.
Night attendant was rude. Bed was broken. No one answered when I called (4 times- 3 from room, 1 from phone- all rang until it just stopped) to report the bed. It was storming, so I didn't walk down there. I had called ahead to let them know that we would be late coming in and that I needed a bottom floor (knee issues). Nice lady. She gave me a room number on the 1st floor. When we got there, man acted like I was ruining his day (it was a little after 8pm). Refused to give us a bottom floor room. Stopped midday after horrible night and told a worker that the bed was broken. She said she would tell them. I asked for more pillows or another blanket to fill the hole with. She couldn't find any pillows but gave me plenty of towels. Very polite. I requested no housekeeping- we didn't need it. That evening, tried calling again (storming again). No answer again. Slept in the floor. You can see outside through the bottom corners (hand sized holes) of the door.
Jetted tub- sprayed water all over the night stand and bed. Had to hold the jets down to stop the spray. Soaked my medications (glad they were still in the packaging). Sounded like it was coming apart.
At least the room was mostly clean. There was fresh red sauce (maybe) on the comforter. Got a clean one when I got towels the second day.
Very disappointed. I know not to expect a lot with Super 8 but I do expect the bare minimum - non-broken bed and tub, no holes in
Night attendant was rude.

The man that help me check in was very rude he didn’t greet us and throwed my license and receipt at me. When we got in the room it was clean but the bed was broken in the middle and was very uncomfortable. The sheets were dirty and the man made me so uncomfortable I didn’t want to ask for more so I found a nearby Walmart and purchased my

Rooms are really dirty (eating table wasn’t cleaned, mirrors are dirty, dust everywhere and it’s really thick and greasy kind of dirt on the headboard and outlets, rusted fixtures, broken tv base, dirty/stained carpet, dresser is barely staying together, and you have to unplug the fridge to use the microwave because both the plugs won’t fit into the outlet at the same time) and it’s just a run down nasty cheap motel. One of my biggest issues is that I was never notified the motel was out of hot water upon check-in. I found out the next morning when I brought it up to the front desk and the lady said nobody in the motel does and they don’t know when they will get the part to fix it. I told them it would have been nice to know this at check-in so I could have made other accommodations. I checked out immediately and was fine paying for the night I stayed, but felt it was only appropriate/fair for the owner to refund me for the 3 nights I didn’t stay. Expedia (who I booked the reservation with) tried to remedy the issue but the owner has refused to do the right thing. Luckily it was only a couple hundred dollars, but I will never stay there again and would highly recommend everyone stay far away from this place.

The man at the front desk had an attitude. The room had period blood on the sheets and the tub was dirty.

Upon check in the man was not very nice. Our third day housekeeping finally got our trash. There’s a magnet that says do not disturb however for safety reasons we will enter anyway well that didn’t happen with or without magnet.

Suoer 8 is well worth the money! 💯 wont stay anyw
We had a great stay at the super 8 great price also. Very clean and nice. Pool was nice also. Ms. Ashley in the office was super sweet and friendly. When we go back next year we will be staying here again. Nice park across the street and close to everything. Beaches just 2 miles away. The bay is just right down the road. Lots of fun stuff to do also. I recommend this place to everyone. No bugs, no problems, no complaints! We will be back! Love super 8 and ms.Ashley!!

This was one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in at any price point. The property is very run down. Our door did not seal properly to the door frame, and you could smell the cigarette smoke and pot being smoked on the walkway outside our room. A couple of our towels were not clean. The bed sheets had stains on them. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the pillows throw-pillow size and not suitable for a bed. The room was dirty and overall, very low quality. We will never book at this property again.

The blood crime scene in 226
Once we arrived at the hotel, the desk clerk wasn't very friendly, nor helpful. We got to our room after a night of working and long drive, only to discover our room was a crime scene. There was blood everywhere. The bathroom walls, tub, shower curtain, and jacuzzi tub. The walls near the jacuzzi, the smoke alarm on the ceiling. As tired as we were and as unfriendly as the desk clerk was we decided to tackle the hurdle in the morning. Next morning we decide to conta t front desk and let them know. They had no other rooms available, they sent housekeeping who tried to clean it and she even called the front desk lady and she tried to clean it. The front desk lady explained the manager would call me. We checked out on monday and mind you it is now Wednesday and still no contact. They made sure they charged for the crime scene. I loved the area, but this hotel/ motel is not it! I wasn't going to leave a review, but with no contact from management to rectify the situation. I had to. I work in housekeeping as well as i have worked as a night auditor, and we take/took care of our guest. My husband was completely disappointed as this was his bday trip! So now the running joke is.. i take him to crime scenes for his bday! I really wish management would have contacted me to rectify the situation.
John
Connie at front desk is so nice and helpful, Mila the house keeper always on her toes making sure if you need anything, the property big boss is always on the job. I recommend this place. I would give a 5 star if they had a washer and dryer.

This motel was a good value. It is super basic but clean and has comfortable enough beds. Amenities worked fine. Bathroom could use some TLC.

Budget price hotel
Older motel but it’s clean. The bed is comfortable. It’s fine for the price.
Christopher
It is an economy hotel.
Thomas
In the good category, the room was cheap. In the bad category, there were some unsavory characters staying at the hotel. I would not recommend a nice clean family stay here, unless they want their children exposed to the seedier side of Ft. Walton Beach.
Serena
It was an extremely nice room and we had a very enjoyable day.

Not All That
Had room for 2 days..Non Smoking Spa Room could have been a little bit more better..TV had a line through it like it was going to break..l Notified the front desk and they did nothing about it

Great no nonsense motor inn style hotel. The rooms are clean, with mini refrigerators and microwaves. Hot showers, and an open sink area with a large counter. Additionally there was a small table and a TV. Our room did show some signs of wear and tear, but minor, and only noticed upon closer inspection. The area for improvement would be the furniture. It seem dated and a bit worn. Even if the facility put a fresh coat of paint on the furniture, I do think it would elevate the experience significantly. All in all, even if no changes were made, we would return. The experience was a good one. The cleaning staff were atttentive to our needs, such as giving us options to turn the linen or simply refresh towels. Quick and easy. The front desk service was amiable and informative, and I even like how they offered a simple morning breakfast option, of coffee and honey buns that you can grab real quick and run out to the beach. Again, a no nonsense service that added to the enjoyment of our vacation.

Convenient location, good value. Older but staff is attentive, close to beaches

The room smelled like smoke. The beds are small. There was hair on the toilet and in the shower the 1st night. There were no comforters on the beds just a thin cover. The washer and dryer were both broken. The good thing was the air worked and it was cold.

Not A Recommended Place, Disappointed
Would not advise anyone to stay here. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff who don't want to bother with any assistance. No breakfast or cleanliness service.

Pretty good stay! Clean and close to many things.
My husband and I only stayed for 3 nights and for the price it was really good. We did have a hiccup when arriving with the bathroom light not working and the tv was ripped off the stand but when taking to the hotel staff, he quickly swapped us rooms. 2nd room we moved to was nice. Clean linens and bathroom. We did have a slight issue when arriving with the toilet slow flushing but we grabbed a $3 plunger from Walmart, gave it one good push and all was back to normal (didn’t want to bother hotel staff for such a minute thing). The only 2 complaints I have, and it’s of no fault to the hotel staff themselves, was the parking at the bottom right corner. If you’re parked in front of where the stairs end, there’s no way someone can safely park in the spot beside it. Also we had some pretty loud people floating around at 1am. With us having a corner room, it sounded like someone was bouncing a ball or hitting the wall outside. Unfortunately that’s the wall the head of the bed is against so whatever they were doing was vibrating the whole wall and bed. But other than that, our stay was pleasant. Good location. Right across from the bay with nice seating to enjoy it. Close proximity to many restaurants and not far from the pier and beach access at all. We will return if by chance we need a place to stay for a short trip.
David
There was someone’s dirty underwear left in the bathroom…..we found it when we checked in. Told the man in the front office and he gave us a plastic bag to put it in…..he didn’t offer to move us or come get it or nothing. Just “here ya go”. Most of the outlets in the room did not work. The AC was great though.
Christina
Gross and the staff was rude

This is a basic hotel which looks tired. It was reasonably cheap but you get what you pay for.
It is close to the highway so ear plugs are required. Breakfast was also basic, coffee and a pastry.
