I'm assuming if you're staying here, you're not expecting a high quality hotel, but for a budget option, I've had no issues with this place. I've stayed there one night for each of the past two years, and it is a decent hotel stay if you're just looking for somewhere to crash for the night. It's clean and safe with free parking, Wi-Fi, ice machines, and free coffee in the morning, and that's all I needed. Bed was a little stiff, but you get what you pay for.

Pretty sure there were blood stains on the curtains, and bloody burgers on the wall in the bathroom. We needed a place to crash for a few hours, otherwise would have immediately left. I felt disgusting after staying there.

Pros: Pets are allowed and welcomed. The staff is really nice and provided what we asked for.

Cons: Mattress and pillows were uncomfortable, the blanket was really thin more like a sheet. The bathroom was not maintained properly and bath tub was slippery.

The kiosk system is not a bad idea to manage multiple properties but when the primary language of the clerk is not English, this is a disaster! I reserved a ground floor room due to a knee injury and was given a second level room. When I asked for a ground level room, I was told that the only ground floor room available was for a handicapped occupant and I asked for it, I was told I could not have it. After climbing the stairs with my luggage, I found an elevator that was not disclosed prior to going to my room. This was not a pleasant stay at all!!

Convenient location, check in process was completed on a kiosk so I was a little nervous that there was no management on site, but I had no issues. The room had a terrible smell and the coverlets on the beds were filthy with big stains on them. I bought air freshener and a blanket. Other than that, the room was clean, no bugs. The ice machine worked.

No one at desk for check- in. Virtual check-in with no security on-site. Room smelled overwhelming like cigarettes. There were children running around complex screaming and causing disturbances. Come to find out the children belonged to the people in the parking lot working on old trucks dropping fuel tanks and everything else. Apparently they weren’t even staying there because they left after they repaired there truck. Terrible experience.

I wasn't there for shopping or work. I needed a good bed, clean shower and coffee early! No coffee pot in the room, office with old small coffee pot not open until 7 a.m. Shower/bath had spots of mold and attempts at a safety handle was in the wrong place etc. I had trouble getting to sleep and woke up with a sore back each night/morning of my stay. I did not see a live employee the entire time I was there. The only presence (I was out by 9:30a.m. and not back until 7 p.m. each day) is on a screen in the lobby and they had trouble communicating with me. I do have minor hearing problem but it has never been aa problem in real person to person communication or even on the phone. I f this is the new trend in 'affordable' hotel accommodations, I will be camping.

There's no staff on site, the entire location is run through a kiosk in the front lobby. The room was okay but if you have a problem there's nobody to call. Not a bad location if all you want to do is have a place to go to sleep and you don't have a long stay. The dog park across the streets very nice because the hotel self is dog friendly but there's not any grass at the location so the dog park helps.

Great area, quiet and maintained well. Normally I stay elsewere but decided on Regency this time-- I've been stayed here twice. However this time I did not feel comfortable or safe. I was put in a room at the back, where view gets blocked by parked cars. Men were standing around, some lighting up. My room had a bed that \"thundered\" whenever you got on it or moved (piece of metal ?!?). The toilet pitched forward sitting on it. I stayed one night but I had to change rooms. There was no way I could comfortably deal. The front desk staff obliged & I was thankful and appreciative. However it was extremely inconvenient because I had already spent one day in the room that did not suit my needs. In the new room, I found used soap & it's wrappings still in the bathroom from the prior guest, indicating that it had not been properly cleaned. However the room smelled okay, the AC worked, the card keys worked, the door latched, the hot/cold water was running, tv/remote worked, outlets by the bed accommodated cell phones & electrical plugs. Someone refreshed the room daily and left fresh towels and emptied garbage. Best of all I had quiet evenings where I got plenty of comfortable sleep. In conclusion, I was not initially satisfied but Regency took care of the problem quickly. If you care about safety or are a single woman traveling alone, request a room towards the front. Cars parked in the back limit view which can compromise safety.

I actually keep extending my stays and nights because I can't fathom that there would be some place that would be this one. So I just extended it again. The rooms are large very functionable , mini refrigerator, microwave, and more than enough room for hanging and putting clothes and dressers. The water pressure is awesome. The shower is great.

Pillows were flat as a pancake. Bathtub had no stopper for taking a bath. The toilet when you sit on it felt like it was going to flip over. Also the metal around the bed was loud as crap sounded like the garbage man was emptying the dumpster. The remote didn’t work couldn’t watch any tv at all.

I I am extending my stay here, as it is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. It's very functionable. I'm able to do my office work in my room. It's quiet and peaceful. It's clean and the location can't be beaten. Every night I see your beautiful sunset and every morning I see a beautiful sunrise from my room. The staff is very professional, very on top of things, and very courteous.

There was not a real person. Had to check in with a remote person thru a screen interaction. Additional money was charged for deposit and the key did not work the first time. To make things worse, English was not their first language. Will not be staying there again.

Well i booked the hotel for the 24th and the plan was to arrive around midnight to 1 , but my grandson got sick so we had to take him to the doctor he had a ear infection , we live 9 hrs away we ended up arrive at 5 in the morning and wanted to get a little sleep and shower before 11 o'clock check out . Got there and tried to check in and had no reservations at all had to send her a email of my reservations so she could find it , the she said she could let me have the room till 11 i said ok so she charge me the refundable $50 per room ( i had 2 ) and then told me oh i am sorry my manger told me i couldnt rent u the rooms we over booked but i would still be charged for the the 24th and it would be 2 to 3 days for the $50 a room to be back on my card went to a different hotel and they told us its illegal to charge us for the room if we didnt stay in it

I didn’t feel safe at this hotel. I found a used dental floss in the sink, and my bedsheets were stained, which made me think they hadn’t been changed. My friends, who stayed in another room, also found hair on their sheets.

I do not recommend this hotel. We only stayed there because there were no other hotels available at the time.

Property was average and slightly overpriced but it was mid summer in FL.
No complaints in regard to cleanliness but I was billed an additional $40 with no explanation. This pushes the fee up well beyond what the room was worth and brings their trustworthiness into question. Do not recommend.

Staff threatened to call the police on my girlfriend, who tried to get a key with the receipt after locking herself out. Front desk is 24/7, but through an outsourced hotel machine in the lobby via telecom. No coffee in the rooms, but there is coffee available in the robot's lobby. I won't stay here again, solely for the fact they don't hire a local receptionist. I further won't stay here because of the surely housekeeper. It's a super budget place, that lives up to the budget reputation.

There are roaches in the room. We spent the day at the pool after check in and then went straight to dinner and a movie after a quick change. We went straight to bed due to our daughter having a very early flight so we weren’t in the room much. 5am the alarms go off and my daughter screams- roaches all over her bed, I step out of bed and roaches on the floor- needless to say we didn’t go back to the hotel after dropping her off for a nap before starting our day. I did go back to speak to the kiosk since there are no people to speak to in person- and she brushed it off- no apologies nothing just said I’ll look into it

I went through Expedia and over charged for the room and when I got there, there was the check in clerk Henry who through a virtual kiosk and very informal. I checked in the room, dirty sheets, very hard bed, old curtains and it was deplorable. Also the bed smelled of stale Marijuana that the cleaning products could not remove it. Also, I almost stepped on drug syringe on the parkway 2x. I was also approached by a man who was possibly on drugs. I tried to bare it, but I couldn't. Expedia did not want to refund me. I had to leave my vacation spot, drive an hour to get another hotel. I never in my life will recommend it and Expedia did not want to refund me, had to talk to the supervisor and had to drive and pay more for a other run downed hotel, but it was nice

I had a terrible experience during my stay. It is unacceptable that there was no one at the front desk to assist us. More than ten of us waited outside from 10 PM to 5 AM because the system was down and our room keys were not activated, preventing us from entering our rooms. I do not recommend staying here, as the only support available is a malfunctioning computer system, and the staff simply blamed the poor functionality of the system.

This trip was a last minute trip planned for my fiance and I to get away for the night. We don't live that far from the area, The Regency had a room available so we booked it (not the hotel I usually stay at down there.) The check in and check out process was very simple. The negatives about this place was the bathroom wasn't cleaned well at all. There was hair in the shower, a empty toilet paper roll was on the back of the toilet, the rags had facial hair on them and the sheets had hair. That night we got the biggest smell of weed and the next morning we got woken up by a couple downstairs screaming at eachother for 30 minutes.

There was nothing about a deposit when I reserved it. & was kinda a sarcastic when I asked if I would get my deposit back. Just really didn’t like having to deal with someone through a computer rather have felt with someone in person.
