Excellent, only reason i would go back. We paid for the suite and it was unavailable due to an elevator being broken (over a month) They provided us with two smaller rooms that was adequate for our needs, but I would have cancelled the reservation. They blamed Expedia for not providing our correct phone number so they could advise us of the switch.

Received a call two hours before check in saying our room was no longer available because the elevator wasn’t working. We booked a King suite with ocean view. Offered a king room. Looked like a barren dorm room. Not what I would expect with the Wyndham name. Stayed one night and left. Would not suggest this place for relaxing

Wow this hotel was AMMMMMAZING! WHY just now this time we came to find out this wonderful hotel? We just stayed at other hotels without knowing that this hotel does exist! Wow. Trust me. This hotel has much much better than the other resort or hotel (especially if you don't need big fancy pool but if you need a decent kitchen including BIG FREZER OR REFRIGERATOR!!!!!) then this is perfectly for you. It has a ROOM to separate space, which is very good and also was awesome to have ocean view from the LIVINGROOM! AMENITIES and soap are good quality and house keeping was perfectly clean and they kindly did bring us towels and soap when we asked for because we family needed them more. We definitely coming back

Beautiful property the resort lays on the most stunning white sand and turquoise water located in the Okaloosa Island of Destin beaches one of the most beautiful and breathtaking fine white sand and clam blue water in the world. The Oceanfront Suite had a breathtaking view and Sunsets. We will be back and recommend to others.

The staff was absolutely wonderful—friendly, helpful, and truly the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the hotel itself could use some updates. Our room had a few issues, including a toilet that ran throughout the night, doors that didn’t close properly, and water that didn’t taste very good. The rooms are also quite small, with very limited space for belongings.

The food from the Tiki bar food was not good. Bread taste old, chicken was rubbery

I don’t like leaving negative feedback because the staff really did a great job, but I do think the property could benefit from some improvements to match the level of service provided.

The view, pool, and room was great, the only challenge was that the elevator broke and we were 5 flights up and we had lots of luggage and I had hip surgery so it was hard to use the stairs. Overall it was a great hotel and nice location.

Nice location & easy parking. Did not like not having towels or chairs for beach but I guess that’s the difference between staying at a condo v a hotel. Just inconvenient for us since we were flying out and didn’t have that stuff with us. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay. Beach was nice and the pool was warm! The room AC could be cooler I can’t imagine staying during the summer months. But would stay again in spring or fall!

I would go to a four star rating but there were a few issues. The floor in my room hadn't been mopped and was sticky and sandy when we checked in. I asked for more towels and it took 6 hours for them to get to my room. I had to get some towels from the pool. The property is older and they tend to focus on the outside of it more so then the inside. We had a great view of the ocean and the room had some up to date features but felt \"old'

Tv didn't work it would came on and go off! Sink molding cracked, the bathroom door won't lock the striker in wrong position. I will not book thru hotels.com again every time i do i get the worst rooms!! The bed was hard the covers were terrible.. the room location were the worst part. We took our 2 kids and our room was right by the bar and the mens restroom was right across the hall and the pool was at our balcony. So when the kids screaming stopped the drunken men started so we got 2 hours sleep at night and all our luggage was piled up against the doors because the kids were afraid the men were going to try to get in our room!! We haven't went on a vacation for 15 years our 9 year old had never been on one we were so excited. We thought we had this great location and room cost me 2 weeks pay, and it was the worst 😕. Now we probably won't go anywhere for another 10 years!! We got burnt!

The floor in our \"upgraded room\" was disgustingly dirty. Made our socks turn black, and my toddler's bare feet looked very dirty, like he had been playing outside for hours after walking around the room for a short time period. The laundry services in multiple buildings were out of order. There were also unexpected charges put on my credit card that were not communicated by the staff at check-in or check-out. I was very disappointed with the way the staff member communicated with me when I called after the trip to discuss these charges. If there had been open up front communication, I would not have been upset, but they handled the situation very unprofessionally and made no attempt to make it right. The beach was wonderful, but this hotel does not include beach service for chairs and umbrellas like others we have stayed at. They also apparently charge you to park in their parking lot, on top of the other room costs and fees. I would not choose to stay here again in the future.

We had a nice view of the ocean and the pool. The room was designed nicely. The heat didn’t work in the room, so we were a little cold, and they had to fix the lock on the balcony door. Overall, it was a good stay. They should add a hot tub!

The room was clean, although a little dated. Water temp in the shower was inconsistent - at times perfectly heated, other times, lukewarm. The view of the Gulf was perfect. The pool was nice, but it took awhile to get towels restocked - we requested and were told they were in the dryer. It was about 1.5 wait to get them. The hotel is not really close to dining, but the pool bar/grill was a great amenity. We walked about one mile to get to the Boardwalk which had a lot of dining options. We used Uber/Lyft to get around and had no problems. The breakfast restaurant was nice and sandwiches/donuts were good. Would like some healthy options (oatmeal/fruit).

So here’s the deal. No cockroaches in our room, which I was nervous about!
Yes the room/hotel is a little rundown, but that’s expected at these old beach hotels. The view is insane!!! The balcony is beautiful. Note, there will be people smoking all sorts of “things” on the balcony; so you may have to close your door to the balcony. We were on the 7th floor and could hear the pool music loudly. But it wasn’t bad. We came here for my husband’s 40th birthday trip he loves this beach!
The doors to the room don’t seal properly so you can hear everything in the hallway crystal clear. Check in was a breeze, checkout was a breeze!
We stayed at the island hotel last time and that had more places within walking distance. Tom Thumb convenience store is about a 10 min walk. Stewby’s (amazing seafood) is about 15 min walk. You can also walk a mile and a half down the beach near the pier for more stuff. They have a great happy hour $5 margaritas. All the staff was so kind! Always smiling, laughing and happy. Cleaned our room daily! Which we appreciated, all the sand! You can rent chairs and an umbrella, we sprung for that our last day. Bed was decently comfy, tv small which we only used at night to unwind. They have a little restaurant/bar on the grounds and a small breakfast shop! We loved our stay!

The hotel was very clean, rooms and beds were nice, and the view was stunning! The arcade was a bit lacking with most games out of order. The hot tub was being maintained so we couldn't get in til our last day but when we got in it was very hot and nice! The heated pools and the rock slide were awesome! They charged a $100 deposit that we were not expecting and also charged $10 per day for parking which was a hidden small print fee that we were unaware of til checkout...All in all it was a good stay!

Perfect location that is close to the beach. If the ocean water is too cool, both of the pools are excellent options! The Manatee Bar and Grill has a variety of drinks and great grill food! We stayed in the penthouse and it was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for our family of 5! The views are stunning!

This hotel had roaches in our bathroom and the only resolution they offered was to spray chemicals in our room or move rooms after we had already stayed a night and unpacked everything. They had a hidden fee for parking that was never seen during booking on orbitz, nor was it mentioned at check in. We paid cash for an incidentals deposit and they didn’t tell us they wouldn’t return the money until maintenance inspected our room during check out. We had a flight to catch and a rental car to return so it was highly inconvenient. Hotel cleaning staff was very friendly and serviced the room everyday, pool was clean and maintained, steps to the beach and chair/umbrella rentals were right next to the hotel. Hotel was centrally located to so many things and was easy to find.

The hospitality, amenities, and overall crowd did not make for a welcoming stay, and those factors alone would make me hesitant to return. It was also concerning to learn of a reported bed bug issue in another room.

We had an oceanfront king room. Room was clean, bed was soft and balcony view was amazing. Pools were clean and outdoor games and towels were provided. The fitness room was nice as well. My comments for improvement:

1) Shower faucet was very hard to turn completely off. It dripped constantly. And water did not get very hot, even turned all the way.
2) AC unit was SUPER loud. Very hard to sleep deeply when an airplane flies through the room every cooling cycle.
3) WiFi connection was very poor in our room. We had a much better connection sitting out on the beach. Definitely deained my phone battery quickly when in the room getting kicked off the WiFi then trying to reconnect.
4) A continental breakfast would make this place 5 🌟

Visited on Spring break vacations with kids and it was perfect. The fridge had plenty of space for snacks, the room was cleaned and bed were comfortable. The view was amazing and the biggest thing for the kids they have a heated pool and they provide towels.

Beautiful view. I was skeptical about staying here because after I booked I seen reviews of roaches but I wasn’t able to cancel. I was there from Thursday-Saturday and didn’t see any bugs at all. The room was really clean. Clean sheets. Clean bathtub, which is rare for all of those to be in good shape. Staff came in while we were gone and made the bed and swept the floor. I was very satisfied with the stay.
