Fairly quiet rooms considering it’s on the back of a licensed establishment and I had a room closest to the establishment. Apart from the fire alarm going off around midnight perfect for the price you pay. Supermarket next door was also a bonus. I will definitely book here again in the future if I’m around the area

overall room condition was run down - looks like old water damage - some of the plaster (concrete coming off) mould?? patch on curtains, mould/moss on balcony. unfortunately, while there may parkin g levels was taped off so had to park on a lower level - lots of stairs. the outside area and stairs were quite dirty.

The bed was amazing as was the shower. the staff delivery room service and in the restaurant connected were amazing.

I booked a one night stay, just for myself, at Nightcap on Hinterland for Saturday 26 October, so I could have a few drinks at the election night party nearby for Gaven MP’s campaign I had been volunteering on.
As I checked in to Room 1, dropping my bags, changing into my comfortable ripped jeans, little did I know what was going to happen that night and in that room would be the beginning of something beautiful.
Long story short, around 1am I returned to my room, unsure about the election outcome, but happily accompanied by what I imagined was just an election night fling with a cute man I’d ended up talking to at the party.
You fill in the blanks; we had a surprisingly excellent time that night. Checking out early to rush off to scrutineering, accompanied by moderate hangovers and an inexplicable sense of something unusual in the works, we left with draft promises to meet up again.
37 days later, he took me to Mount Tamborine to watch the sunset, and asked me if I would be his girlfriend.
And trust me, compared to my previous relationship experiences, I am not exaggerating when I say he is the nicest, kindest, funniest, smartest and just most amazing man I have ever met.
So thank you Nightcap, for giving me a place for something life changing to begin.
Room was clean too.

Our room was 17, last on the row at the top of the stairs. Back of the room was all glass doors, opening onto the back verandah and overlooking the smoking area and courtyard of the pub, loud, drunk voices late at night. So many lights all around the building that the room was lit up all night, even with all curtains pulled shut. Woken at 3am by noisy, drunks arriving home to their rooms. Woken again at 5:30am (it was a sunday), by the gas truck delivery, he left it running and made huge amounts of noise for over 10 minutes before leaving. A horrible place to stay, was not the relaxing night away we wanted and paid for.

The room was dusty. The sofa bed was made up with dusty cushions from the sofa instead of pillows. The stairs and concrete areas had ground-in filth. There is no breakfast and no food choices until lunch time. Overall a tired old pub lacking maintenance and showing no interest in the motel side of things. A $14 mixed cocktail was served at the bar in a tiny flat glass. I would never subject my family to this again. Certainly not a comfortable nor nice experience.

Good conditions for one or two nights. The access to the hotel in not very clear and we end up entry through the casino and bar, with all our baggage. That was the worst part. Until 10pm you still can ear some noise but the rest of night was calm.

Very expensive but was somewhat expected due to last minute booking. The reception was a little difficult to find as it is tucked behind the building, better signage needed. Was given the wrong room we had booked for, but the staff was helpful to rectify this. The aircon in our room was super noisy, but turning off and opening the balcony door was not an option as there was no fly screen. Average overall, OK for a short overnight stay.

Reception does not open until 2pm on the dot so don't turn up even 5 mins early as ypu will not be able to get in. It is evident that the company has done huge improvements to the property and attempted to update it to the best of their ability however it still needs some work. Room cleanliness was sub par as spider webs and insects were visible and the cracked tv needs replacing. The bathroom layout was poor however it has been updated and was beautifully styled. The oversized showerhead gave a luxurious feel and the water pressure was great.

The best thing about the property was hands down the most comfortable bed on the planet and the linen. It was like sleeping on a cloud!

All round good stay. Staff welcoming & friendly. Very pleased to have a king bed, however abit too soft with not enough structure for me. our party had 3 couples and 1 single adult. We had 3 rooms, the sofa bed was convenient however not the most comfortable with only a single mattress protector, & no additional pillows provided for the sofa bed. We asked for linen for the sofa and received one sheet. we enjoyed dinner and drinks at the hotel which was lovely after travelling thru the rains and around the floods etc.

The property was well located. The bathroom and living area were very dusty. The balcony and entrances were littered with garden debris and muddy. 4 guests payed and stayed at the property but they only provided 3 Bath towels & 1 face washer and 2 breakfast packs. Beds were on wheels and rolled away from walls. Air conditioning worked poorly. Noisy overhead guests I could hear walking around at past midnight. Overall disappointing.

Hotel was close to everything we needed for the weekend. Hop skip and jump downstairs for dinner meal was good and with a few drinks not far to walk home. Room had an oldish model reverse cycle window unit and as being an asthmatic couldn't use as it was full of dust with no filter. Cleaned ourselves but still couldn't use

No one is told how to get our keys no one was working at reception. We had to hang on other guests doors to ask how to get keys and use their pin! Never ever again! Waste of money. Walls were paper thin can hear everything and the room stunk

Very handy to both the Gold Coast hinterland and the business area of Nerang.
Right next door to a shopping centre.
On-site meals in the hotel. Check out,if eligible,the great pensioner meals.
Some aspects of the room were dated eg rotting timber in wardrobe. Bathrooms could do with an update.
Lovely use of timber in the construction. Better signage need out front to avoid going into hotel looking for motel reception.

This hotel is older and I choose the economy room and that is ok but it was filthy, there was dampness on the carpet, mould in various areas including the grout/tiles in the bathroom, a very damp smell on opening the door. The sheet and blanket on the single bed appeared soiled. The other bed was fine and quiet comfortable.
There was also construction onsite that I was not made aware of.

The staff at check in were pleasant. I have emailed the hotel and still waiting to hear back.

In my opinion this room was a health risk.
