The apartment we stayed in was fantastic! Very clean, two bathrooms - one with a bath (very handy with 3 kids!), a full sized kitchen and gorgeous water views from every window. We spent a lot of time dining on the balcony, which also overlooked the water and pool area.
The service from the Staff was exceptional and the facilities were fantastic! And all in easy walking distance to eateries, Woolworths, coffee, shops, entertainment and the beach!
Our Family LOVED our time at Moorings and highly recommend!

Moorings on Cavill is a decent property in an excellent position if you want to immerse yourself in the \"kulcha\" of Cavill Avenue without being up in its guts. The superior apartment was spacious and looked after, though very aged. If you're staying through a weekend, be aware of the Cowboy bar next door and little to no soundproofing within Moorings on Cavill. Saturday night was the only real issue, with the club open til 3am and party boats passing on the river until midnight. Cowboys and cowgirls get LOUD - and why shouldn't they be as they try to lassoo a specimen of the opposite gender for some bucking bull action? I'd suggest earplugs if you require a decent sleep.

The apartments are across the road from a Woolworths and chemist and an easy walk to Cavill Avenue and Surfers Paradise beach. The tram stop is also very convenient and, while we didn't use it, there's a council ferry stop right next door.

BYO face washers and beach towles as only regular bath towels, hand towles and bath mats are provided.

Generously sized apartments, older building with parking, located in the heart of Surfers. Lots of dining and grocery options in walking proximity. Was lucky to recieve an upgrade to a renovated apartment. It’s noisy being in the hub of nightlife so ask for room as high up as available. Have a great stay. We’ll be back.

Excellent location. Nice ambiance and spacious. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the stay and pool. It’s very close to place from where water sports begin. 2-3 min walkable to tram station and 6 min walk to surfers paradise beach location. Property should have kept sufficient toiletries which was missing. But altogether, a decent place to stay and if we plan to come back, we can surely choose this dwelling again.

Loved the location however the property itself is old and tired.
The dishwasher and dryer didn’t work for the entirety of our stay.
You have to hire pool towels for a fee which was unexpected. We stayed 4 days and the rooms were not serviced or towels changed, you’re expected to wash the towels provided which again I expected more for the price paid.
There is a nice kids pool however it’s not heated.
The views from the property is beautiful and the location is great for shopping and restaurants.

Whole in the wall, toilet seat was loose, glass dish was broken in the kitchen draw. Air conditioning remote was not working. Carpark was an issue which was resolved next day and I need to arrange a carpark for a night. Less than an average what was shown in the advertisement pictures. Will not stay again in this property.

Had a nice time. The apartment had everything one would want for a comfortable stay. The pool area was nice. The view from the balcony was excellent!!
Only thing was that there were cigarette butts on the balcony left over from the previous guests. Other than that all was good.

Perfect location, could do with a renovation. Beds are not comfy and they’re two single beds put together.Washing machine was terrible. It has made all clothes black and constantly stops.

Walls a bit thin (could hear neighbouring resident watching TV and bird life, sirens etc) but overall no problems. views of the river stunning. Spent time in pool most days. The Accomodation position itself, was awesome. Pleather Lounge was shedding everywhere, filth between the lounge cushions. Dining chairs were unsafe and legs were loose. Fans are hard to control, controllers are dodgy. Everything else was ok. Close enough to walk to many venues.

Couldn’t fault the location, everything you needed was close by, ie groceries, shopping, restaurants and other attractions. The unit was good nice view, also a pool area with BBQ facilities.
The down side was the check in, had to ring off site for someone to get the keys, the room wasn’t very sound proof, you could hear people out side which sounded like they were next to the window, even with the windows closed.

This property was in a great location and was an easy walk to everything, the view from the apartment was stunning as we looked straight over the river and it was great to see all the activity on the water especially in the weekend.
The biggest downfall was the property needed redecorating and maintenance and was not very clean inside which was a shame because it's such a lovely spot!

The apartment itself is good and spacious and well appointed. The location although convenient; it is super noisy. The unit did not seem to have proper sound proofed windows. And there were gaps in between the sliding doors to balcony.as the property is on main road with constant traffic noise. Also there is a park around building with a toilet block which attracts all the rowdy and trouble making drunk ppl at nights. I had to resort to ear pugs to be able to have a good night sleep. Also our bedrooms didnt have blockout curtains only roller blinds with decent gaps between the panel which let the light in the morning. Definitely do not recommend this place to ppl who are sensitive to noise .

The apartment i stayed in was spacious and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's central to everything. Only thing that could change is the curtains in the bedroom don't reach all the way across without a gap on the sides.

Location is great however their is a night club around the corner and on the week end the ferals are let out at 3 am and congregate in the strèet out side and as drunks do shout and carry on for about an hour not good if you are a light sleeper.

It was very safe. The area is handy for the shops and there are gorgeous beaches nearby. Public transport is only about a 10 minute walk away. The apartment was light, airy and comfortable. There was a fully functioning laundry room and the kitchen was fitted out with fridge freezer and microwave. The swimming pool was warm and pleasant to sit by. I’ thoroughly recommend this property and will tell everyone in the UK about it and I took some business cards to give them if they are planning to visit that area.

Nice stay! They were really nice to give me an upgraded room. I enjoyed the tv options, had a lot of cable channels and movies to watch. Loved that the pool was heated because many places don’t do that.

The room definitely needed some upgrades. There was a cupboard falling off and a lot of the handles in the kitchen were pretty dirty and crusty. I would say the shower was a bit outdated too and the entire shower head stand fell off the wall on to me while I was taking a shower.

Still had a nice stay tho!

Wouldn't recommend this place. None of the windows or doors shut properly so you get all the noise coming in. The furniture has seen better days. The sofa had all dirt down the side of the cushions. Overall for the money I paid I would expect better.

If you like water views and a location in central Gold Coast then this is for you. Otherwise negatives were: broken shower head, patio and front door handle, extra squeezy dim and dark basement parking, one towel per person, take away your own garbage, dirty floors, noise from parties in the park AND a rock hard bed. (it was better sleeping on the couch) No we will not be staying here again.

The property is old and in need of repairs and a deep clean. Such as shame as its wonderfully positioned. The pool and grounds are beautiful but once inside ur apartment things are bad.
Also when arriving we never got any sort of check in info- like a map of the facilities or after hours contacts ect not even the room service menu. It wld also be handy if there was an information packet in the apartment on how to work the appliances.

Our apartment was spacious and clean but could have done with a paint and a deep clean. For what we paid, I would say it was good value.
