Very clean and organised room, bathroom and balcony, air con was good, tv included and mini fridge, kitchenette stocked appropriately and room cleaned daily. Pool and spa were out of order for the first night but second day was beautiful. Staff very friendly and accomodating

When I arrived, the room I was given was terrible,smelled damp,but after I complained the receptionist gave me a
nice room with beautiful views,so I was quite happy. One thing I didn’t like ,I stayed for ten days,but the sheets hasn’t been changed not once.The position is very good and I enjoyed the pool very much,so it was very good trip at the end.

Overall good experience. Concierge desk was there, however never attended. Our room was a King room, but in reality it was 2 single beds pushed together...

Also, since when do guests bring their luggages to the hotel room and not the porter? Where is concierge?

Great views, spacious rooms. Staff informative. Family friendly and very close to.public transport and cavill avenue. Only issue was we noticed ants in our bathroom which was odd for 17th floor but everything else fine.

Myself and husband was at Mantra Legend for 3 nights.
We just got back yesterday Tuesday 3rd March.
Our stay was awesome ,clean room,amenities was good,we had only one day for breakfast,it was sunday 1st because it was our anniversary,breakfast was very nice ,the rest of our days we cooked our meals in the room and have breakfast in the room as we were booked the studio room king bed with kitchennet.
The only negative side I would comment if the reception ladies needs more customer friendly service with warm greetings as we come in to your resort for the first time and to Gold Coast or surfers the very first time,please improve on your welcome greetings upon checking in ,,some of your body language speaks volume !!overall we love our stay ,we enjoyed the pool,the gym,but we didn’t use sauna and laundry.
We will be back!

Asked for interconnecting rooms
Only when checking in was told they were not interconnecting
Asked and reception advised we don't have any rooms . Staff replied we did see your request . I said and no one thought to advise us . No reply .
If we had known we would have booked elsewhere due to having young kids and having to separate them . Not ideal going between rooms constantly .

Bathrooms are ageing and showing issues . Toilet seat slides off when sitting

Mattresses need replacing feel like a trampoline .

Rest of hotel is at per price point standard

The windows where leaking water from the rain water and the carpets where wet and smelling. We reported to the reception and they sent a house keeper with extra towels to put on the windows to hold the water. No follow up where made to see if water was still getting in, though it rained throughout our entire stay. No shower caps, hotel slipper or bath robes provided. We request for an non smoker room but we could smell someone smoking on corridors.

From going to sleep. Let reception know and offered for someone to come and look at it but it was late and I just wanted to go to bed. Staff were good to deal with but the room itself wasn’t very clean and very annoying spa didn’t work

It’s not a good experience with Mantra. We book a room for a room. We have to pay extra cost for breakfast which we just got something very basic to eat in the morning that the cafe next door makes it better but lower price. We also have to pay another extra cost for a car parking which semi manual to talking with intercom to open the gate every time when moving in. Over all it’s look like this Mantra are lower than there standard. We understand, the hotel business also need to make the profit. However, this trip we not getting anything appreciated or any something to match with customer satisfaction. Not bad but nothing.

Fantastic stay at Mantra Legends Surfers Paradise. Perfect location — easy walk to the beach, shops, plus loads of cafes and restaurants.

Super friendly, helpful staff. Room was clean. Bed slightly uncomfortable but ok. Great atmosphere for families. Lifts can get busy at times, but nothing that caused real inconvenience.

Loved the pool and gym facilities too. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again.

FOH staff were amazing. There was an error in bed configuration as had booked twin beds and there was a king. Receptionist was able to rectify this.
Room had kitchenette. Unfortunately the tea and sugar werent replenished everyday and collected these from reception without a problem. Room was reasonably serviced apart from this.
Maybe some dishwashing liquid to hand wash dishes as didnt have enough to use dishwasher.
Was great we got a 2 hr late checkout being an Accor member

Reception staff were great. Really large pool area. Great view from the room. Breakfast was the cheapest we had on our Australia holiday, and it was ok for the price. The whole building only has 2 lifts so there is alot of waiting/queueing for lifts, access to the stairwell would be good for people who don't mind using the stairs

We stayed in room 504 with 2 double beds with a partial beach view from the balcony.
Clean room, comfortable bed. Nice towels. Body wash etc was nice. Aircon great.
Location perfect. Pool - no complaints.
Breakie - we unfortunately did not experience this trip.

Not sure if this is normal in Gold Coast are but would have preferred a quilt (prefer a bit of weight) vs just a light sheet.
We stayed for 2 nights, 2 adults plus a 11 year old. Would stay again as the price was great for what we got.

I’ll start with the positive;
Staff were always extremely courteous, happy, helpful and personable. We booked months ahead for oceanfront view and confirmed this prior to then find in actual fact a lower floor and received a partial view with a high rise placed centre of our balcony looking out.
Not the worst of it, daily cleaning was woeful with no vacuuming done ever, messy change of sheets attempts and for some strange reason no blanket ever even after requests to cleaning housekeeping staff direct.
Sad to say but even a 3 star rating is being generous. The only highlight is proximity to everything locally otherwise the hotel is extremely tired and run down. Not a happy customer.

Centrally located in Surfers Paradise near lots of restaurants. Room was clean and tidy. The only issue we had was with the parking. A staff member advised us we would only need to pay A$12 per day for our last 3 days parking as we had already stayed at the same hotel a week earlier and paid A$17 per day. However, when we received the charge on our credit card, it was A$17 per day and not the A$12 we had been advised. So this was a bit dishonest, as we were advised a lower price, but charged a higher price. When I queried it once back in NZ, the hotel claimed I had been charged the correct price, but this differs to what the staff member advised me verbally when we were physically at the hotel on the Gold Coast. Accordingly, I recommend other travellers pay for their parking at the hotel and not to trust the hotel to charge them via credit card later as they may do this to you also.

Room service was poor. Some days, the bed would not be made, but the rest of the room was cleaned. Shampoo and body washes were not refilled for days at a time. Coffees and milk were also not refilled or topped up when we ran out.

Overall, the room upkeep was poor and inconsistent. Some days the room would be cleaned properly and other days would miss the room completely.

The hotel is in a great location with easy access to everything. The room was generally comfortable and appeared clean, though it is a little dated. There were some minor housekeeping issues, including sand in the bedsheets, hair in the bathroom, and slight odours on the pillows and blanket, which affected the overall impression.

Bed was very comfortable and gave both my partner and I a sore back. Very loud with neighbouring rooms so close you can hear conversations and slamming doors. Didn’t have house cleaning until 4 days into my 8 night trip.
Pool is beautiful, staff very friendly.

We booked for 3 days, ended up staying only one night due to the smell, staff gave us refund for remaining 2 days and free breakfast after some negotiationing.

This hotel experience has been my most disappointing by far. During my hotel search, I was looking specifically for a room with a full ocean view & balcony to share with my partner for a special occasion which is why I booked the room pictured on website.

Instead, we received a partial ocean view & no balcony. When I went downstairs to talk to reception, they checked with management but were “sold out” so I was told “there is nothing they can do” & it’s only “based on availability”.

When I looked at my reservation, I had the full ocean view in text but the balcony was only shown in photos which is very misleading as there is nothing that said “based on availability”.

Our “full ocean view” room faced southwest, not east. You can only see the ocean if you stand in the bay window. There is an option when searching on Expedia for ocean view or partial ocean view. I specifically chose ocean view to avoid this exact situation from happening.

On top of all of that, the room was in poor shape. Fixtures were falling off the walls, hair dryers falling apart, multiple carpet stains, partial drywall repair without paint & to top it all off we didn’t have a king bed. We had two twin beds pushed together. We have photo documentation of our experience & will be happy to share if needed.

At bare minimum this posting should be updated to accurately reflect what is being offered. We were given a subpar room which didn't match the photos or descriptions online & we should be compensated

Our check in and check out was an easy process. Staff members were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is an older style but very well presented. Breakfast is available but we didn't partake. Cheaper price if you book ahead with the reception. Nice pool. Our room was very clean and tidy and had a great view. We went for our 25th wedding anniversary and we were surprised by a nice gift upon entering our room of a bottle of bubbly, chocolates and a lovely note from the hotel staff wishing us an enjoyable celebration. It was a lovely unexpected touch. The hotel was easily walkable to Cavill Avenue, the beach and plenty of restaurants. The tram station is very close too. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Staff were great. We booked the room for a family of 4. It had 2 x double beds in it, which was very tight. Plus only two bath towels and two pool towels.

Breakfast was good, far from great. We got the 20% discount SMS which eased the pain a little. We definitely go back for round 2 the next day.

Pool and cocktails were awesome though.

Room cleaning is regular every day and good. But sometimes the staff forgets small packages of coffee and sugar. Then tomorrow they leave coffee and sugar and not milk. Maybe they are overloaded (a lot of work and not enough people).
There is no chicken or beef salami or sausage in the kitchen for breakfast. I complained to the kitchen manager and he immediately provided beef sausages for tomorrow. Everything else is very good. The hotel staff is friendly, pleasant and always helpful with a smile and efficiently.

Location is strong, 1 block from beach, nice pool, but do not expect rooms and hallways to be up to modern standards. The finishes are quite outdated, lighting is poorly considered, giving anything outside the lobby and pool area a slightly grimy feel. That said, it was not dirty or unsafe in any way and if a low rate on the Gold Coast is what you’re after, go for it.
