The unit I stayed in could do with some renovations. I looked old and overused.There were a lot of scratches on the wardrobe in the bedroom and stains on the carpet. The room wasn’t cleaned properly when I arrived. Found a cigarette butt and dead cockroach. The bathroom light wasn’t working properly at first, then it stopped working all together. However the staff were happy to fix the problem. The bed itself was nice and comfortable. However the leaking shower was a constantly annoying along with plumbing noises from the unit above. The pool area was nice and clean but too looked to have seen better days. Definitely not a place to stay for a long period of time.

Great location, 5min walk to all the attractions of Surfers. Close to the beach. Easy access to public transport, which was frequent and cheap. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unit was spacious with all the amenities required. Was old and run down as expected given the price but needed a good clean. There was mould growing in the wardrobe, around some of the windows and in the shower. Run down is OK but dirty is not. Overall has a most enjoyable holiday and would stay there again.

One of the most dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in, wasn’t clean at all and kids found someone’s used underwear underneath the couch. Beds have stains under the sheets. No bins around the property every time you have to walk all the way to a car park to chuck any small rubbish.

Great location near tram stop, beach and dedicated parking spot for the apartment. Detailed late check-in instructions were useful. Some furniture in the apartment were scuffed and worn looking but still functional. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner and toiletries.

A reasonably nice stay.

Check in was quite easy and pleasant. Accommodation wasn't exactly what I'd been led it to be. I thought I'd have an apartment but was given a renovated loft. Would of preferred a proper apartment. The loft was big and airy with a new kitchen, situated right next to the toilet and bathroom door. The steep stairwell up from the front entrance after a while became annoying. The loft/apartment was clean and tidy however the dinning table and chairs weren't in very good condition and the table was marked. After about half and hour trying, I had to go to reception as I was concerned about security to complain about both the balcony security door and entry door not being able to lock. I asked for a new apartment but there wasn't one available. The lady at reception came back to with me to the apartment and was able to fix the problem. The facilities and grounds are well kept and very clean. It's a great place to stay for peace and quiet. I found the location excellent. I have stayed at this resort four times before and have always had a good stay. This has been the only time in which I've had any issues. I do think that you should check to see what you're really getting as I would not recommend the loft for someone who's elderly or has a heart problem because of the stairs. However I did manage to have a reasonably good stay at this resort. The pool / barbeque area was excellent.

I suppose you get what you pay for but I wasn’t expecting tram going past our room , a little noisy when you go to bed but the service slowed when it got late.
The car park was good. The kitchen and bathroom was very tired and in need of a renovation.

Good for the price however if somethings broken when you get there you’re without it for your whole stay the clothes dryer didn’t work the tv only worked with prime video the pool is heated in winter but the spa is always cold the staff were friendly good for price but not most private can hear the units above and next to you conversations water running

The property is old and the building reflects this. Old paint work moss and mould where water runs. Tiles on the stairs to the car park old and cracked. Whilst old they are maintaining it as best they can.
It is close to the g link which is great. The unit was tidy and clean. A couple of things need to be fixed one of the cupboard doors was broken with sigh saying not to use this vut down on what space was available. Only i shelf on door of friade and this was broken.

Hotel is in a great but the room we were put into was a real dump. Holes in the walls, filthy bathroom, one bathroom tap having no cold water tap at all, the other bathroom’s sink had had silicon one inch high covering cracks, coffee sachets as had as rock, glasses & crockery dirty & had to wash before using, no teaspoons, filthy carpet square, long hair in blanket, filthy fridge. Especially requested a ground floor apartment months prior because of mobility but ended up on the third floor carrying heave luggage up numerous stairs. The only good thing was the gardens. Spoke to the receptionist who was more than nice & she told us it was because the new owner is in the process of renovating it. All Baloney, because I read the same reviews of cleanliness & disgusting rooms going back to 2017. Wouldn’t go back there even if it was free .

It is definitely a budget hotel so keep that in mind when booking. There was no one at the front desk when we checked in due to training but when we called, they were able to get one of the residents down very fast and we were able to check-in with no issues. Both the ladies did their best in the situation and it was definitely appreciated. The room we stayed in was interesting. It was a 1 bedroom apartment so there was heaps of space and it looked like it had been refurbished with relatively new furniture (which was initially one of my concerns after I'd read the other reviews); however, there were 2 holes in the bedroom and the bathroom from the door handles, the carpet was stained in multiple places, there was mold in the shower and on the ceiling above it, under the bed was not cleaned, and we saw a couple of cockroaches (my partner ended up killing one near the bed). The location to Surfers Paradise was great and there was underground parking which was easy to get to. We were facing the tram tracks and we didn't have any issues with noise. Overall, you're definitely getting what you paid for. It is not a 5-star hotel so don't expect 5-star rooms. It was fine for 2 nights because we were basically out all day but if you're planning to hang around the hotel for significant amounts of time, this isn't the place for you (unless you get one of the fancier rooms because there are nice reviews on here for the hotel - we just might have lucked out and got one of the other rooms)

The resort itself was nice. There was plenty of parking options and the pool was great. The room was extremely poorly maintained. There were holes in the walls and window frames. We were without water for half an hour on the first morning. The wardrobe doors were very old and fell out when you tried to open them. The TV was 14 years old and did not work, it constantly turned itself on, changed stations, adjusted brightness and volume. The carpet was very worn and you could see it was delaminating throughout. We went during the school holidays and paid a ridiculously high price for an extremely disappointing room.

The apartment was clean, except the carpet was disusting, but clearly needed updating. Everything felt very early 80's. A few little changes would make a world of difference. (A fresh paint job, fix the tiles falling off the wall, furniture that isn't broken). The location was amazing. Everything was just a few blocks away.

It has a great pool that was never overcrowded. Spa attached and all working and very clean. The poolside lounges need attention. There is a sauna that does not get much use due to where it is located but it too is clean and once heated is a very nice indulgence. Very private. I think it should be APARTMENT SELF CONTAINED not resort.

A lovely pool area and gardens are in the centre of the units. We were on the first floor. Whilst the unit was very comfortable it did need an some attention. A fresh paint, new carpet and upgraded kitchen. Chipped walls and doorways, an outdated kitchen and minimal amenities, one teaspoon, detract from a lovely holiday. It wouldn't take much to upgrade. Our linen was changed 3 times during our 9 night stay which was very pleasing.
Only negative for me was the wi-fi. An odd 300 mbs are included and then you have to buy the rest. The connection was shocking and I paid for it but couldn't use it!

Staff extremely helpful, nice and close to Cavill Mall. Beautiful peaceful surroundings, great pool and spa. Train right outside. My only disappointment was the cleanliness of our apartment, on first glance looks great but after closer looking you could see dirty dusty corners, and skirtings, the shower tray was filthy, under the couches were dirty which you could see sitting down on the opposite side of the room. There were wood chips from a broken draw all over the floor behind a bed side table. We only stayed 3 nights so was suitable for our needs. Other than the cleanliness everything was great.

Worst wotif ever. Threatening email about maintaining silence and so as a result the place is quieter than most grave yards. Lots of threats about how they are going to keep your security deposit, but then they bank it anyway. It took three nasty phone calls to get it refunded.

Perfect location, just a short walk from surfers paradise but far enough that you don’t get as much business. Beach just a two minute walk down the road.
Spacious apartment well suited for families. Great security for car and yourself! Plenty of parking in the street if you have more than one car though there is some time limits but they’re quite gracious

This is a great value place to stay. It’s quiet, close to a tram station and to everything else you’d need in the Gold Coast. There were a couple of areas of the apartment that were a bit dusty but other than that it was nice enough. It is at the budget end of the accommodation scale so be aware of this when booking and there are no lifts so can be difficult with higher floors if you have lots of luggage.

Fantastic location, about 5 mins walk to patrolled beach, short walk to supermarkets & good coffee shop. The resort common facilities (BBQ, pool) are very good. As far as the actual apartments go, each is individually owned and ours was unfortunately not well cared for. Good points about the apartment were that it had a washing machine & dryer and was a good size with a reasonably well equipped kitchen. Not so great were that the curtains were falling off the rails & basically see-through anyway, the furniture was very, very old, the wire door out to the gardens & pool wouldn't even shut properly, let alone lock (this was quite a problem because we were on the ground floor).

If you are considering staying here, I recommend that you talk directly to the property and ask for specific details about the available apartments. I found the reception staff to be very friendly & helpful.

Last minute decision for 3 of us to enjoy a week at Gold Coast in 2nd week of Jan, wanted a good pool and self-catering. Thought no chance or only have terrible options, but thankfully turned out well and good price.
Flew from Melbourne, no car so took bus from airport then tram and it was just around the corner - a big plus and we used the trams often. Staff were friendly and helpful, obviously routinely holding luggage for people before/after stays.
Pool looks huge on website - it's not, but it is plenty big enough to handle 10 at once - very pleasant, comfortable temperature (not cold) and with shade around some edges if want to avoid sun. Spa really good and strong. Didn't try sauna - seemed steamy enough outside anyway.
Place is obviously a time-share resort from a couple decades ago, so all rooms are self-contained and have good space to live in - ours had master bedroom, bathroom with laundry (not cramped), open living area with smallish but full kitchen with proper fridge and oven, 2 couches (1 with sofa bed), table and chairs. Air conditioning quiet and powerful and worked well but room also got good breeze through with all windows open so could sleep without aircon too.
Every room/owner different - we were given only 1 of everything for each of us (bowl, spoon, etc). Had leaky tap and flickering light when arrived but all fixed next day. It's fairly basic and not very stylish, but better than 3 star and it worked well and was good enough to be happy with it.

There was no Air conditioning in my unit, fortunately weather was not too warm during my stay. Carpets need to go, both inside the appartment and in the hallways, they are old, ceramic floors would be more hygienic. Location is good (walking distance to beach, shops, restaurants). Outdoor facilities (pool, garden, walkways) are clean and well maintained.
Would I recommend to a friend? Maybe, but not as a first choice.

Our family loved it at Enderley Gardens Resort. The rooms were clean and everything was in working condition although the furniture was a bit outdated. Very close to all attractions and restaurants at Surfers Paradise. Very handy with transport too. The tram line just a 80m walk.

Located close to surfers paradise beach. Appearance of the outside of the building, the gardens, pool area lovely. The room we personally stayed in was pretty run down. The cleanliness of the room could certainly be improved. Would consider staying again another time as hopefully we might get a nicer room. Price for room and location was good.

This place has a really good potential to be a wonderful place to stay but wasn't great for us. Yes it's close to the beach, g link and centre of surfers but that's about the only benefits. One sheet on the bed as a liner and another as a top sheet is not acceptable any other place you stay tbeg provide a doona and more than one pillow per a person. I've never stayed anywhere that I'd been required to supply my own toilet paper and not had access to clean towels when I need them with out the extra cost.

An okay place to stay for the rated price!

The good: 8-10 mins walking distance to caville Ave. 2 mins walking to tram stop. 10-15 mins to bus stop. Not bad size room. A decent kitchen. Good size pool/spa.
The bad: An in comfy pillow, no shampoo/cond, just one toilet paper for 8 days of stay(far a family), an itchy carpet & an average playground for infants is exactly what the price reflected I guess.

We were surprised that the hotel did not had an attending staff on Sundays. As a result, we were made to change plans. The Australian workplace laws and the collective bullying by unions, in this regard, in service industry can come as a rude shock to outsiders. A service industry can not be a switch on switch off type of thing. If labour hours are more precious (evenings and holidays) the labour commands a higher price than the normal hours. End of the matter. The current situation is labour owners of these businesses, who hold onto expensive properties. We were much happier in places like SE Asia, where this kind of a thing does not happen.

The guy was suggesting that we should have made ourselves aware of these things before booking at expedia and therefore cancellations were not possible. I knew it was possible to cancel, but I did not want to create a scene.

Worst experience ever

I must say that staying at Enderley Garderns was the worst experiences that I’ve had in my life. We’ve arrived in Gold Coast around 7am and were tired after flight from Europe. I’ve called to inquire if it’s possible to do an early check-in and the person in reception told me that we could come in at 1pm or even earlier, but that he’ll call me if and earlier check-in was possible. We’ve arrived at the hotel around 1pm and our apartment wasn’t yet cleaned and we had to wait for another hour. We’ve been given very little information upon our arrival. To enter the resort, you must pass a secure gate and use a remote, which we weren’t shown how to use. Additionally, if you come in late you must also type a passcode to enter. We’re told this after 2 weeks. Upon entering the first thing that we’ve noticed was the smell of chlorine (apparently they use chlorine chemicals to clean the rooms). The floors were sticky and probably haven’t been washed in ages, the balcony had more sand on it than the beach and all the kitchen appliances had food stains. The closets had a thick layer of dust on the shelves, so the first thing we had to do was to clean the entire place. The staff were very unpleasant and reluctant to offer any additional help. They didn’t provide any vital information about the facility, such as use of the keys. Our bedroom was located at the back of the building where the garbage collectors make their daily route at around 6:30am.

The location is good but we only were provided with half a roll of toilet paper and 2 coffees for our 5 night stay. There was no aircon and the bed was a small double that wasnt very comfy and the pillows were terrible. We had to do our own dishes and empty our own bins when we left otherwise we would have got charged 40 bucks for them to do it. This place has great potential if only they would spend some money to make it more comfortable.

Internal stairs and doors with 2 living spaces and bathrooms for the 2 bed apartment meant we could comfortably segregate the kids zone from the adult lazing. Air con, fans and balcony doors made climate management easy and proximity to Surfers meant the car stayed in its park for 4 days. Close to everything central, stove and microwave made in house catering easy (and we didn't even need the communal barbies) and a great price for the stay of just over $400 for 3 nights.

You get what you pay for.

Don't expect any new or near new fittings, furniture or appliances. I don't think anyone uses the 1/4 size tennis court anymore, so don't go for tennis. Cheap home base for heading out and about.

Good Quality Accommodation near Beach

This Hotel was perfect for what my partner and myself were looking for. We were wanting a cheap place to stay that didn't make us feel like we were sleeping in a rubbish tip and this is what we got. The rooms at Enderley Gardens Resort were small, however had a spacious feeling to them. With a nice relaxing beach feel to them. The resort was centrally located being only one block away from the beach front and a 10 minute walk from Cavill Avenue the main strip of surfers paradise. Would recommend this place to any family's, couples or even a group of friends that want to get away for a bit on a budget.

Was welcomed when we arrived . Room clean. Great quite place to stay. The kids loves the pool and the gardens. Everyone was friendly. Would be booking my next holiday there for sure. And will be letting family and friends know about how great this place is

Nice and roomy units. The only thing I would tell people who are staying for more than 1 night, bring toilet paper and dish washing liquid with you as there is only enough for 1 night and the little shop down the road is quite expensive. But overall a very nice and relaxing stay.

Great position, old run down, cheap though

The hotel was great value and great position, but very in need of a coat of paint, new shower heads, carpet clean and a bit of modernisation. In saying that, it was really cheap, in a great position. We ran out of toilet paper after one night when staying only 2 nights - simple stuff that could have made the experience a bit better. Didn't meet any staff as we arrived late on Friday and left early on Sunday, so staff rating is indifferent.

Best place to stay in Surfers Paradise!

The location was perfect, not too close to the busy central and yet it's just minutes away from the central and surfers paradise beach! Enjoyed my stay there with my partner. Would definitely come back here when im in Gold Coast next!

Dirtiest Hole don't waste money!!

Dirtiest place I stayed! Dropped an earring underbed on my last day the film of dust underbed ewww no wonder my allergies were playing up! I wouldn't waste your money even though it's cheap! Cleaners cleaning before 7am so loud and if you want to sleep in forget it can hear all noise outside. Only aircon if request it! Put that with big bold writing enderley gardens.
Charged for everything if u do anything wrong well I should charge you for my allergies for no cleaning for what looked like years!
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Beautiful gardens close to beach

Overall we had a great time, the resort was close to beach and short walk to SkyPoint and Cavil Ave. BBQ and pool was good , spa didn't work. Rooms were ok but dated. Our room had an air conditioner but you have to request this as many rooms don't . The resort has undercover parking and is secure. We had a ground level appartment and I could open up the sliding doors and see my daughter in the pool.

A great stay - very convenient and comfy

A really great place to stay! The room was nice, decorated and clean. There was a pool and spa that was kept in good order (quite deep haha). The hotel is close to the CBD with lots of nice restaurants etc. also around the corner from the tram stop and the bus stop that takes you to all the theme parks. Really close walk to the beach as well. 10/10 in my experience. Oh and the receptionists were very kind and eager to help with directions etc.

not a good experience

Could not believe there was no air conditioning had to keep doors open and noise outside very disturbing. No wifi supplied and when you paid for 3rd party supplier it was spotted connection at best.

Short Stay Recommened

Close to the beach and Surfers main town strip. Great for a short stay as we did. Pool complex and sauna was really enjoyable. Other visitors were really quiet and friendly.
