The location was great, management very good, gardens and areas around the complex was great, wasn’t the unit we were shown in the booking but was still ok the one we had. We had a few issues with our apartment and power at some stages but overall it was ok.

Great potential but property was very dusty and dirty and in need of repairs.
Bathroom had not been cleaned from previous tenant as hair, dust and broken glass on floor. Bathroom cabinets extremely water damaged and swollen. Mosquitos everwhere in room. Flyscreens black with dust and consistent with dust around room. Kitchen floor greasy and slippery, didnt want to take my shoes off or touch anything. No reply when I let reception know upon arrival.

The property facilities including the pool and BBQ area were good. Our rooms were a real let down and the photos of the room on the advertisement, did not represent what we got. From the broken front door and broken balcony screen door, the poor cleanness of the cutlery and dishware provided. The room also included a small TV screen and uncomfortable couch. My family and I would not stay here again for the price.

Great location close to the beach and 5 min walk to Cavill Ave but there were a fair few issues when we arrived like a crap mattress, blocked drains, poor cooking gear etc but thanks to the brand new owners they rectified these issues with a new mattress and cooking gear and drains unblocked. Probably needs a bit more cooking utensils like a potato masher etc plus an electric fry pan.
The clothes dry still needs fixing you have to bash the button to close it properly to activate the machine plus timer cuts out regularly so need to restart lots. Not sure about the bare concrete floors thru out the unit probably drops it down a star rating. Unit not quite as advertised said King bed on Wotif but is a Queen and an Aircon in bedroom but there isn’t one.
Great secure spot parking and gated community. The unit needs more info about the unit and how everything works especially TV & Wifi.

No hot water, air-conditioning or communication

Warning to travellers! Do not stay at this place! There was NO hot water and air-conditioning was not working at all. There was zero communication with management as I have tried for weeks asking the height limit of the garage. I have tried the contact form on their website, email from their facebook and the of course the mobile number. After talking with the residents who live there, found out the mobile number provided is the manager's old number and he would not give out his new number. The only time I saw someone was at check in, there was no one at the office in the morning.

security was an issue due to screen and balcony door did not lock. Bathroom - shampoo, conditioner and more soap would have been good. No face washers & no spare towel.
Okay for overnight.
facilities good and nice surrounds.
Old & a bit dated.
Better balnket for the bed required.

Arrived at unit and there was no power, called the number no answer but called back very quick, was told don’t use air con as it would trip power. Later learnt that air con didn’t work and it was the fan that tripped the power. Went out come back and no power again. Hasn’t been dusted in a way and was rubbish under beds, booked for 5 people and only got 4 towels.

Had a 3 bedroom apartment was spacious although it was a very hot weekend there was no air conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms fans were not quite enough to keep cool we traveled with two cars and they were very accomodating to let us park both in the secure basement parking area as it was not very busy .appartment was clean and tidy although a little outdated

The worst accommodation Ive ever stayed in. Broken coffee table broken light broken fan, broken wardrobe door, broken balcony door, broken dishwasher. No cover on ironing board, no curtins in bathroom and neighbour could see in, no globes in bedside lamp, stained cushions on beds. Reception was rarely open and manager rarely answered phone and no voicemail option. Manager blamed cleaner for state of the room but it was the cleaner who found another ironing board which was stained but she did her best. Theres no lift and trying to get bags up several flights of stairs was difficult. The key wouldn't work to get into the property, do had to get another one, the manager was rude and took no accountability for issues with the room. On a positive note, the pool area was very clean as was the bbq area but i don't know if the bbq worked. When i was leaving another guest was telling me their ceiling was leaking. This is budget accommodation but that shouldn't mean all the issues I listed. I only continued my stay because it was paid for and i didn't want the hassle of trying to get a refund. This property needs to be fixed and they need new management.

Our room was immaculate .. freshly renovated and was so roomy. The location of the hotel was brilliant and I can highly recommend this place. The indoor spa and pool was fantastic as the weather at Easter was terrible.
We nearly cancelled due to covid but so glad we didn’t . I would stay there again. Room 45 was perfect. Only thing there are no lifts in the premises.

Arrived at 10.30am and understood that checkin wasn’t until 2pm. Michael was really friendly and offered to hold our bags whilst housekeeping cleaned our apartment and told us the room would be ready about 11.30am. Went out and did some shopping and got an early lunch. As promised, Michael phoned at 11.30am and advised our apartment was ready. He was So helpful and we were thankful he got our apartment ready early. Generally the whole place is fine. Apartments could do with a little bit of updating if you are not picky and don’t mind a bit of obvious wear and tear, seeing a bit of rust in the bathroom, mould on the tiles or bathroom blind or dodgy shower head. I would stay again as am definitely not high maintenance and prefer location and price over amenities and prestige.

The property seemed quite nice from the outside, the pool area seemed clean, but I have to say poor communication re: booking in late. Also, the room, where do I start. The carpet was not very nice, the furniture in the loungeroom was okay. The kitchen, wouldn't touch a thing. The kettle was dirty, the cutlery I didn't fancy using. The balcony was okay. The bedroom had a large bed, but it was quite hard I have to say. The pillows seemed okay. The bulbs in the light fittings were out, bedroom, loungeroom, it was like being in a cellar. Because we had rain and it was gloomy outside, absolutely impossible to get dressed/ put make up on.!
The bathroom seemed okay too. I would have scrubbed the floor and basin if I had the chance.
Overall, poor, very very poor. I think you guys should communicate with the property, because as you know, poor accommodation makes me not want to use your website.!

Positives - Good Location, Well laid out, decent amount of space, nice balcony, full facilities (mainly), reasonably clean, decent bed. Looking a bit tired but that didn't bother me. It says WiFi on description but does NOT explain you have to pay quite a lot for this separately. The WiFi quality was quite poor. It says cable - I believe it was only free to air programs.

The property is situated just minutes from the beach, perfect golden sands, excellent swim, surf etc. Minutes away from shops and restaurants perfect for the whole family. Apartment was close to the CBD and the amenities were great- we got to use the pool, sauna and gym. It was dated though but it was sufficient. Only downside was that they only gave us one roll of toilet paper even though we stayed multiple nights. The previous unserviced apartment we stayed at at Noosa did.

We arrived at 2pm and were forced to wait outside the venue for 40 minutes until the lady decided she would turn up to work and sit at reception. She them seemed more interested in the people handing out free flavoured milk near the venue than actually getting us into our room. After paying for 4 people we were given one key and instructed by her to just leave our door unlocked as you could access it from the bottom level - real smart. Rooms were old and certainly nothing special but that was fine. After checking out we were charged for something we still have no idea what it was. Have tried contacting venue 2-3 times for no response... I guess the moron at the front desk is still trying to find her free flavoured milk rather than respond...then again with her method of just leaving your doors unlock theft seems to be right up her alley. Avoid staying here at all costs. Disgraceful service from check-in to check-out

The 2 bedroom unit we stayed in was newly renovated and was modern and clean. I couldn’t find a water jug but they had everything else except the kitchen bin was small. Close to restaurants 7-11 grocery store and beach. Late check-in was confusing as they did not answer the phone to give me the pin number for my keys. A guest helped me with this. Staff were good. A wonderful place to stay. If I had of rang direct I would have saved $80.

Spent a lovely week at the Copacabana Holiday Apartment. Great location as the beach was just a 5 min walk away. Nearest IGA and tram stop are 10 - 15 mins walk as is the centre of Surfers Paradise. Apartment had everything I needed, furnishings were a little dated but by no means spoilt my stay. Rooms clean and functional. Security is great and parking a bonus.

Great hotel

For a 3 star hotel this place is awesome. We had a 3 bedroom top floor apartment. Very clean and tidy with super comfy beds, 2 bathrooms, huge balcony, 2 pools, spa, free parking, cheap wi-fi, close to everything. Beach is a 5 min walk, bottle shop etc. We loved it that much we decided to stay another night.

Normally, I would shrug it off, but I do feel the need 2 say something as there wasn’t just 1 or 2 things
So I wasn’t happy with the stay 4 these reasons.
1)Ants. There was a near constant troop of ant movement through the unit.
2)Parking. Was a pain. Plus, at 1 point someone had taken “MY” park, forcing me 2 figure out what 2 do.
3)Office Hours. Now I know u have ur set hours, but they were really inconvenient. Which made it hard 2 sort out various issues.
4)Linen Service. Nowhere was it mentioned when I booked that there weren’t fresh towels supplied. HOWEVER, I will say I was happy with the gentleman there who did, upon request, provide fresh towels.
5)DVD player. Knowing Good Friday was going 2 fall and nothing would be open, I actually chose ur establishment over a number of others as it said in the description that u provide a DVD player. Only 2 discover and be told “whoops” no we don’t.
6)Swimming Pool/Spa. Not something I would normally complain about, but Good Friday. Nothing open. No DVD player. Average weather. And the indoor pool and spa… Under maintenance. Poor timing.
7)Clothes Dryer didn’t work. Seeing as we didn’t have fresh towels, we decided 2 wash the existing ones. Only 2 find.. the dryer didn’t work..
8)Beds. The 1 request I made. THE ONE REQUEST, was when booking I had the option of a Queen Bed or 2 Singles. So, being as I was there with my partner, I requested and booked a QUEEN BED. Only 2 find, that I instead, have been given 2 SINGLE BEDS

The apartment was excellent vast. It was a sweltering weekend, and the only aircon was in the main bedroom. There was only half a roll of toilet paper in the apartment when we asked the guy for more he seemed less than helpful and said sorry you will need to get your own. The guy seemed more interested in not doing anything them being helpful was the only disappointing part of the stay.

Would recommend these apartments.

Enjoyed being close to everything, our apartment was very private and quiet. Cleaning needed to be more detailed, when we had to retrieve some paper work from under the lounge, we moved the lounge and that had never been move. There was old food and crumbs and hair and dirt behind the lounges and under the cushions. So I would recommend the cleaner also vaccum there. Otherwise was a great place to stay and would recommend to friends.

Close to EVERYTHING!

Another beautiful holiday at the Copacabana. It is so relaxing here. I love waking up to the sound of the water running over the rocks in the water feature around the complex. The tree's and gardens make it feel so cool and private. Very family friendly also. We did not have the children this time but have had in the past and they also loved it.

Could be a lovely place -so central to all needs and wants - only we asked for 2 single beds on booking and ended up with a broken queen size bed - then wanted to charge us per night for a fold up bed - so not real happy with that - NO air conditioning. When told to look for it (air con) i said i had worked in the industry for over 10 years and that i think i know what a air con looks like and that there isn't any air con in apartment. Was told that the next day we would be able to change room - well that never eventuated. Told management about spa not working - was told - \"well it should\"...
Just NO follow through by management.
On the upside the apartment was spacious and would have been fantastic if beds and air con were sorted.
We would stay again (if issues are addressed) as its so central to everything that we wanted. 500m to beach one end of street and the other end was the light rail station and many restaurants.
I did love the established palm trees in the garden - very tranquil.

Had an awesome time here. The hotel was so close to everything: the beach; the tram and busses; the shops etc. Staff were friendly and helpful when we had questions about the room and stuff. We had one incident where the cleaning staff missed our room for the linen service however it was sorted by the next morning.

Convenient location, nice clean hotel

room was a bit tired looking but it was clean and suited our needs. Close to tram, 10 min walk to Surfers 2 min walk to beach. Hotel has a nice setting and good pool. Staff were very helpful. We used the room as a base and had everything needed to be self sufficient if needed.

A little to be desired

Stay was nice, we don't mind out dated furniture but we do mind uncleanliness. First thing we noticed was the dust on the tv cabinet. Quilts on the beds look like they've never seen a washing machine. No lights in 2 bedrooms except for lamps, one of which had exposed wires and gave a shock! A lot of the little things let this place down. Stayed here multiple times, but not for a few years, used to love this place but probably wouldn't stay again.

Arriving at 3:20 it was confusing to find no-one in the office and no directions that worked. After some time there was an answer to our call and we were able to locate a room key.
We were disappointed with the fish smell of the unit.
The vents in the bathrooms need a good clean. Dust was stuck to the vents.

Deperately need renovating

The complex itself is nice, great location and nice gardens/pool area however the room itself needs a facelift. The 2 bedroom apartment we had seemed to have been partly renovated - nice carpet and bathroom ok however the kitchen was a mess. The cupboard door fell off and the laminate looked like 1970's. Apart from that, its a nice complex.

Stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment, room 41 , everything reasonable but had to wash all dishes and cutlery before we could use them , room reasonably clean a bit dated and could be very nice if the privately owned unit had a bit of coin spent on it as it is still in the 80's , would stay again as price reflected what the unit was like , if you want something more modern stay somewhere else .

Stayed at this location many years ago with lots of fond memories unfortunately from the time we arrived the room set was incorrect as the customer we were left to split the beds and share bedding skewing with a sheet and bed cover only
Then the next morning being charged addition for fold out bed that should have been included in the price which were dump in the room again with out pillows of blankets the bath room was unclear and the iron unfit to used have the photo to prove was a disappointing experience

Most run down 'boutique' hotel I've ever stayed in

This apartment labels itself as a boutique apartment but in actual fact it is so old and run down. The furniture in our room was very old and the most uncomfortable sofa I have ever sat on. My partner has since had to get a massage because we were stuck indoors for two days because of a storm.
When we first opened the door to our apartment there was an awful smell of damp/mould, probably because everything in there is so dated.
The garden area beside the pool area/reception doesn't appear to be maintained. The pool was dirty. The indoor pool room leaked as water was dripping in to the pool and the surrounding area. There is a ping pong table but no ball to play with.
The only reason we stayed here was because we booked a mystery deal and landed up with a terrible place. I definitely will not be booking any mystery deals again and will definitely never return to these apartments.

Close to the beach and to the shops.

The apartments are located close to the beach,
There are no lifts .
The room was a 2 bedroom and was neat. The linen sheets had hair on it and the blankets were dirty with stain marks.
The kitchen was tidy and clean but had cockroaches, not pleasant.

Adequate hotel close to town and beach

because it is close to the town and beach it is one of the older apartment blocks. The appartment we were in could do with a thoroughly good clean ( doors and drawers especially). I washed plates and cutlery before using and left the place cleaner than i found it. I guess it's the old story of paying for what you get!

Great location.. Value for money

Pros:
Great location. Close to beach and all other city attractions. Calm and quite atmosphere. 1 bedroom apartment was spacious and well-maintained with all amenities.

Cons:
Lack of regular housekeeping means that we have to depend on the previous occupant to get a clean rom. Our room did have some leftover peanuts and drinks which we had to clean on our own.
The hotel would become the best in Surfers paradise if the management can introduce regular room cleaning service as well..

I have already commented through trip advisor, room was no: 26 we stayed in but I did forget to mention mildew on curtains and windows and smelly, asked for change told hotel was full couldn`t change rooms it not the one in photographs we booked early and were told garden area by pool, first floor no absolutely no recourse no lift just to mention I have arthritis and heart condition. just too much to write about indoor pool and spa unable to be used, to sit on couch was to sit on metal frame before touching the floor,in house booklet had nothing for consumer even that was dirty I didn`t want to touch it. no refunds, rooms not necessarily ones pictured in advertisement (so true) no recourse no refund we had booked for 3 nights and couldn`t afford to go anywhere else plus by then bookings were heavy everywhere else. wish I had taken photos OLD MAT IN SHOWER NEEDS TO BE REMOVED. Not up to health regulations

Perfect appartments close to everything.

Stayed for four days, everything was convenient and comfortable. The appartments are huge and bright, everything is provided. We are two elderly ladies and couldn't have asked for more. Will definitely be going back to the same place the next trip to the Gold Coast.

Good but require improvement

It was a nice stay. Very strategic location which close to amenities and beach. Room in good condition however bathroom has a broken tiles which was dangerous especially for my kids. Kitchen facility a bit off quality i.e. oily oven & incomplete utensil.

Cheap weekend in Surfers

The Tigerair (and others) got cancelled because of fog in Melbourne. So a rush to get last seats on another carrier (full price). The Copacobana is getting very tired and run down. Particularly in the apartment. 10 too many schoolies perhaps. It is in a good location, was quiet close to trams, main beach, busses, surfers shops. Its a weekend apartment rental - no toilet paper - so not like a hotel room.
Planes were bad on the way back Tiger delayed 40 mins some of the other carriers longer.
Took a Murrays bus to the airport in Sydney - the express one. left right on 6 and got there at 9.10 - scheduled 9.15 - easy trip. Will do that again.

Great Location. Kids Loved the Indoor Pool

First off, great location - only a few minutes walk from Cavill Ave and only four sections back from the beach, with Surf Lifesavers very close so didn't need to walk far for a swim in the surf. Our children loved the indoor pool which was a good size, and we could sit in the spa and supervise them playing in the pool. My husband enjoyed the sauna. The outdoor pool looked lovely, though it was too cold for swimming in it while we were there. We only saw the lady at reception on arrival and departure as we had pre booked activities organised, but she was very friendly and helpful on those two occasions. The secure parking was great for our hired car, and the gardens at the apartment block were beautiful. The apartment itself had a huge lounge and a kitchen that was fully equipped with cooking utensils. We had a two bedroom apartment which had a bathroom and an ensuite which was great for a family of four. The balcony was lovely to sit and enjoy the gardens, big enough for a family of four to sit and enjoy a pre dinner drink (all the balconies looked to be the same size; enough for four outdoor chairs and a table). Our apartment looked as though it was probably decorated in the eighties and hadn't been renovated since then and it had several large stains on the carpet, but it was clean and tidy and perfectly suited to our budget and needs. We would definitely stay here again.
