One thing that made me laughed hard out in the shower was the shower head I tried to turn to cold water and the shower head fell off. However everything else was ok thank you I will definitely booked this place again soon.

We were on the 4th floor, corner 1 bed apt that looked over toward the mountains - so we got the afternoon sun. the apartment itself was fantastic, very roomy and well set out with everything that we needed. Great shower and nice to have a bathroom not attached to the bedroom but just across the hallway. We went down and ordered food from the cafe and had it sent up to our room and it was quick and delicious. The tram is less than a 2 min walk.
There is a building being built across the road, so there is noise from 7am but not loudly as the windows and doors are double glazed. Would definitely stay here again. The Italian restaurant underneath on the corner is great.

The property is currently undergoing renovations, so the noise during the day really bothered me. The renovations were occuring ik the reception area, so I was unable to heae anything the staff were saying at check in. The sawing noises were particularly offensive, and I felt I needed to avoid the reception area for my stay. I did not try the restaurant or breakfast.

Only thing I did not like was the Wyndum is a timeshare, just got caught up on arrival and one voicemail. I really do not like timeshares. Overall a lovely place to stay, the breakfast was excellent and the pool area was really nice.

The Hotel & staff were very nice. The air-conditioniner's in room 205 was so hot. We put on 16 degrees in the bedroom & apartment and we were still uncomfortable throughout the night. Just as well it was only the one night.

Reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful! I arrived very early and they stored my luggage for me and gave me access to the pool area so that I could sit there until my room was ready. Room massively exceeded expectations. Extremely spacious and lovely views! (Wouldn’t bother paying extra for the ocean views) my room faced away from the ocean but the view of the sunset was still lovely! Definitely recommend staying here!

Wotif said check in time would be 2pm got therea little early went to check in told room not ready and that someone would calll me. No one did room was not available till nearly 4pm. They said there was a mix up with our booking and had us booked into a club room. Service was terrible no staff member was helpful or really apologetic. Room was supposed to a 2 bedroom suite was small aircon not working in living rooms and toilets never flushed proprtly and ensuite shower was overflowing on tiles. Wouldn't stay here again

Had a man from the Hotel sit us down after we paid for our room and push for us to go an hr meeting so they could sell us products. I told him no three times and we still kept pushing.
Try frustrated that they want to charge for a roll away when we paid for 5 people in the room. Would have been to nice to be able to sit on the l lounge but couldn’t because we had to use the sofa bed. The hotel wouldn’t listen or want to help. No sheets left for us and had to ask twice. Took 2 hrs to receive the sheets.
Room has very old. Curtains very broken. Bin and the cupboard in the kitchen smelt like a dirt nappy.
Staff not friendly.
Overall the stay was ok but the place needs some fixing up.

Wyndham an easy place to check in & syay

I loved the oven!! It was easy to use, the tray inside especially, as some old oven trays I use I need to put foil on to make it to make it easier to use. The laundry was too as more modern Washing machine & dryer I'll always found better to use too. Having a television in the bedroom was another \"creature comforts\" available.

This hotel was close enough to walk along the Main street in Surfer's Paradise but far enough to be relatively quiet. There was a slight error with another guest being given the same room as us. The employee apologized for her error and compensated us with coffee and muffins. We were happy with our stay.

We stayed in apartment No. 1702. Great location and views out to sea from the balcony, open plan kitchen and lounge area and the two bedrooms. All facilities such as washing machine and dryer are in excellent working conditions. The kitchen is fully equipped and all necessities are provided in all rooms. However, the mattresses in the bedrooms are alittle on the stiff side. The large sliding door between the lounge area/balcony was very difficult to pull open. Although the apartment needs a revamp of its paintwork, and a replacement of a bathtub, the apartment is spacious, functions well and its clean throughout.

I loved the self contained room… was very reasonably priced and made our stay very easy and convenient. Set in a FANTASTIC location with everything like transport, shops and entertainment at your door step. The reception staff were so very nice and welcoming and offered lots of information about the area, and the view from our balcony was beautiful. If I had to be overly picky and find anything wrong it would probably be the knives provided in the kitchen were very blunt. Would highly recommend staying here!

1 bedroom appt. Quite tired. Had to report some issues which, to be fair, were handled well: bathroom had mould on the ceiling, which was cleaned off. Shower head was old, small and grimy - this was replaced, but the shower screen door and shower head rail were both badly corroded.

Some power sockets in bedroom did not work, and there was not the full inventory of kitchen items (was reported but not remedied).

One of the party is Coeliac. Cafe/Bar had GF bread as an option to replace non-gf bread on menu items (eg avo on toast, eggs Benedict), but they could only toast bread in the same toaster as wheat bread. Should be able to cater better - easy to buy a separate toaster!

Great location overall, pool area was nice and generally the room was OK taking everything into account. Disappointingly on checkout, the receptionist admitted that the Club Wyndham rooms have much more spent on them, and that the room we stayed in was personally owned so maintenance was not their issue.

Once we were moved to our second room as the first had a smell to it and was not completely clean, it was fabulous! The room was modern and a great space for a family. Staff were very friendly. My one criticism would be better communication of staff with customer. Several times we had been told we’d be getting a phone call about moving and we did not get the call and had to walk back and ask questions. They made up for it giving us a nicer room and being polite.

Wyndham was conveniently located within very short walking distance to many dining options and shops.
The facility had air conditioning issues for the entire 4 nights I stayed, during hot weather. While they provided me with a portable air con unit, this didn’t help at night as the room couldn’t be locked while the portable was in use.
The staff were friendly, the facilities around the resort were lovely and the food and coffee was delicious!

I recently stayed at this hotel and, while the location and amenities were generally satisfactory, I was quite disappointed with the housekeeping service. Throughout my entire stay in seven days my room was not cleaned or refreshed, which is something I expect from any reputable hotel.

Upon arrival, the room was clean, but as the days went on, it became increasingly inconvenient not to have the room serviced. The trash bins were overflowing, the bathroom lacked fresh towels, and the bed linens were never changed. I had to do all of that by myself as I was with my two young children and kids make mess. I had to call reception every other day for fresh towels and sheets.

When I inquired at the front desk, I was told that there is housekeeping fee they charge if you want to get room service done. I should have been given the choice to opt-in or opt-out of daily housekeeping services without any extra fee because this hotel was not cheap, rather than assuming I didn't need them. So I had to clean rooms and I even asked them to bring the vacuum into my room and cleaned the rooms by myself. I mean the whole point of going on holidays is that when you come back to your room after a long day, it’s nice to see your room is being cleaned and fresh. I would recommend that the hotel reconsider its approach to housekeeping.

We had a problem where another couple was given an access card to our room, and indeed did enter our room. Luckily we were there at the time. However, this could have been a disaster, with being caught out at an inappropriate time, or else having our belongings taken. Not good enough at all!
