Had great difficulty trying to communicate prior to arrival regarding a late check. I had to ring Expedia helpdesk twice and then it was unclear as to whether we were able to receive a late check in or not as the place is locked after 5 pm.

The range hood was dripping with fat and grime and splash backs needed cleaning. We were disgusted and said they would not get a good review… Rececption said sorry but no offer to deep clean. This was a real disappointment as the apartment including the building, location, beach views, shops, transport and everything else was absolutely perfect. Such a shame and I have never had to give a review like this before makes me feel awful but has to be said!

Great location close to beach and Cavill Ave. In need of refurbishing, it was happening on 3 of the levels which also meant it was noisy with trades people. Not great that they make you have all the dishes washed and put away before checking out despite having a dishwasher which most places allow you to put on to wash as you walk out the door.

Definitely NOT what the brochure or reviews said. It’s an old run down building that smelt and uninviting. The apartment was worse with ants dirty socks under the lounge, dusty pictures, rusted old lamp shades that only one could be plugged in, cupboards were dirty and had left over things in them, the blankets smelt and the sheets didn’t even fit the double bed. The fridge smelt, there were no towels, tiles missing from veranda and outdoor chairs looked like they would break if sat on. Internet barely worked and neither did the clock. Definitely not what you pay for. If you can put all that aside it’s a great location a bit noisy but it’s Surfers.

Great views, large apartment with all the appliances and plates, cutlery and cooking bits and pieces to make a meal, washing machine for clothes, etc. TV is positioned oddly to where the couch is / not in line with couch so makes watching TV a little awkward. Overall the apartment is a little dated, cigarette burns / holes in carpet and a few of the blankets also have cigarette burn holes in them too. The apartments could be brought up to scratch with a small investment from the owners.

I have stayed at this property several times. This was the first time in room 504. The building is old, but has reasonable facilities. Our room however was particularly run down. There was mould and rust in the bathroom and a general smell of wastewater that lingured for the two days we were there. The bedroom had a hard mattress. The bedhead was loose and had rubbed marks / holes in the bedroom wall. The living room was sparsely furnished, with mismatching furniture. The kitchen was equipped to the minimum usable level. Only the location, close to Surfers paradise centre, justifies it's high price.

It was so gross i felt dirtier getting out of that shower than i did getting in it. There was mold in the grout and the floor actually moved under your feet. The location and the view are excellent. Unfortunately the cleaners for this apartment are not thorough and there were a number of issues that I raised with reception regarding cleaning that were not rectified during my extended stay.

Even though the building is starting to age our room was clean and tidy and had a magnificent view of the ocean. Staff were friendly. Parking space was tight but manageable. Only issue was our TV didn’t work when we arrived which was not able to be fixed until the next day. If we return to Surfers we would like to stay there again

Disappointing! Advertised wifi - non existing. Needed it for work. Front desk only open 9-5 Mon-Fri and 9-1 Sat. Bad luck if you needed something out of hours - LIKE WIFI! Our 2 apartments were very basic and very old. Really need to be updated asap. Location is excellent. Right across from the beach and a hop jump and skip to Cavill Ave, eateries aplenty and Woolworth supermarket close by too. Parking is free and very secure. Overall the stay of 6 days was ok except for the issues with wifi. Price very reasonable as you are paying for location.

The Surf Regency Apartments are perfectly positioned, two streets from Cavill avenue and right on the beach front. The morning views were beautiful, the room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. We also enjoyed the pool and spa. The carpark was easy to access and ensured we had an allocated space. Highly recommend. And all at a very reasonable rate!

I booked a one bedroom apartment and was very impressed by the property. They were very efficient in responding to my communication. We received a complimentary upgrade to an ocean view apartment 1303 which was amazing and greatly appreciated. Staff all friendly and great customer service. Beautiful pool but we didn’t use it. The main bedroom needs a queen size bed. Some the the kitchen equipment, like the fry pan needs replacing. Good 3 star property.

Wow. The apartment they put me in is decrepit. Carpet stinks, bathroom is at least 20 years old, and it looks and smells it. The couch was malting pieces of black material all over my clothes and the floor. The sliding door to the bedroom would not budge, so call it open plan effectively. I used the vacuum cleaner and it spwed out the most putrid smell, I was dry wretching, seriously. OMG.
I understand that these apartments are all individually owned, so there is a wide variation in quality and amenity, But this was just nowhere near acceptable. I'd strongly recomend taking this one off the rotation until it's fixed. Very dissapointed and I won't be returning. Plenty of other decent properties close to the action and beaches. Move on.

Nice ocean views, within walking distance to Cavill Mall. Apartment was clean, well kept and had new appliances. Bathroom had recently been renovated. The whole building needs a general facelift to make it more modern (eg card entry instead of keys to garage and rooms.). Pool is a bit small and needs upgrading. A rooftop pool would be nice too.

The property is well situated 2 streets from Cavill Ave and is only a stones throw away from the beach. Accommodation is well priced, clean and well presented. The only negative was the limited crockery and cookware - I had to buy a mug to have a cup of coffee.

On the first night I stayed here I had a shower before bed and woke up in the middle of the night went into get a drink out of fridge and slipped over knocked myself out on the floor due to water leaking out of shower. I then reported it to reception. Although it did get fixed there was a who cares attitude!!
