Booked a two queen room for 3 nights. It was amazing! The room had a balcony overlooking the property, and each morning we could see hot air balloons flying nearby. The food at the restaurants is amazing and the wine is delicious. We got complimentary tastings at Ponte and Bottaia. Wasn’t able to make it to the Cellar but it was definitely a happening place based on the crowds coming in and out.
Staff was amazing all around. There’s a cute pond and some great spots to sit by fountains and fire pits. The pool area was also beautiful and had games as well. 10/10 will never stay anywhere else in Temecula again!

The hotel is lovely, and the location is beautiful. However, for such a highly awarded hotel, the hospitality could be better. We are at the restaurant by the main lobby and the busser accidentally spilled Cholula sauce on my khaki shorts. I understand accidents can happen. So I go inside and ask to see if they can send my shorts off to the laundry to get the stain out. The front desk team member said she would need to check with her manager. The manager came out a minute later and said unfortunately there is nothing they can do. We asked if there was a Tide to-go pen in the little shop area. The manager didn’t know and told us we could look for one. We didn’t find any options. We asked if there was a washer onsite and then manager said there wasn’t. The manager said “well we can give you like $10 off your breakfast”. At this point the manager was trying to find out who the employee who did this, more than trying to find a solution. At this point I told the manager I will figure this out myself and thanked them for their time. I then spent the next 2 hours going to a local target and getting the necessary supplies to get the stain out myself. When we returned we asked a new team member if there was a washer guests could use, and low and behold, there was a complementary washer onsite.
I wasn’t out trying to get something for free, or to get money back, all I wanted was the stain caused by the employee removed. May I suggest management read the book unreasonable hospitality.

On the positive side it is a very nice facility and they give you free tastings at their Ponte and Bottia tasting rooms.
The big negative for us was our rooms patio door faced the pool facility which for some reason has music playing from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. We could hear it in our room over the TV and even worse was the vibration from the incessant thumping bass notes. We called the front desk several times and it never got addressed. For the second night we moved to a room in the other side of the building. We were surprised that they never apologized or even acknowledged our being inconvenienced. The second room had some issues with the heating/cooling system with the heat coming on in the middle of the night and turning the room into a sauna. All in all a mixed bag of good and bad.

This is one of our favorite places to stay, and we go back every so often. The rooms and grounds are great, and the staff courteous. It's right in the heart of Temecula Wine Country, and so there are lots of other great places to visit, but we also particularly like what they have onsite: the Cellar Bar and Bouquest Restaurant are places we always go back to.

This is by far the best place to stay in Temecula wine country. We lived in Temecula for one year, found this gem and -- since moving away -- we make a point to come back at least a few times per year. It is a stunning property with excellent restaurants for breakfast. We typically make dinner reservations elsewhere, but - overall - this is a wonderful spot for couples or families who want to get a real "wine country" experience. Highly recommend!

No one called. Then later, I found out the restaurant is not operating that night and the thanksgiving dinner is for tomorrow's evening only. Would have been better if I was informed earlier instead of waiting and finding out it is closed. I had to make last minute arrangements with the reception.

We visited the tasting room and had a wonderful experience tasting great wines. Then went on to a fabulous dinner...All of the personnel we had contact with were most gracious. The property overall is very nice; the service level leaves alot to be desired at the pool area. The bar (a walk away from the pool closes at 3 PM on a holiday weekend!.) No food or bar at pool; however you can ORDER from a server at a desk - she brings it out in a paper bag. The food was AWFUL! Cold, soggy french fries, wilted lettuce on a turkey burger .. no utensils for salad in a plastic tub. On another day, arriving at the pool at 2 PM - no towels! Had to call the front desk (there is no pool attendant) and waited 15 mins for new towels. Rooms are nice and clean. Grounds are very pretty. Complimentary coffee before 8:00 AM is available, because the restaurant doesn't open until then. Bottomline - good, but far from great.

I enjoy this hotel; however, a couple of things were noticed. There was no drinking water at the pool; there was no food/drink service at the pool. For this level of hotel, these things should be added, especially since Temecula gets so hot in the Summer. We visited your sister winery, Bottaia and had to take an Uber when it was only a 2 minute drive. There should be shuttle service from Ponte to Bottaia. We enjoyed the room, the breakfast and the grounds. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
