Hotel is centrally located, but the room set-up is very strange. We had two queens: The (TINY) closet is on the side of the bed and have to shimmy to get to it, and can barely open the doors since it's so narrow. That's where the long mirror is located so you have to stand ON the bed to get a full view of outfit. The TV is on one side of the room so only 1 person can view good. Then the bathroom door is directly in from of one o the beds and has a frosted door so you can see the outline of the person sitting on the toilet! I felt like we were in a camper! Lastly, the shower has one setting- HOT! You can't turn it a little to cool it down. It's HOT only!

The front desk guy was nice and friendly. The hallway when going to the room smells and could use some cleaning and air fresheners. The first room I was assigned to had a weird smell on the second floor so I asked to switch room. 3rd floor was better, hallway smells nicer which makes it look clean. Issue in our room is that the light where the coffee maker was at went out. We didn’t want to be bother and didn’t know if they have staff at night so we didn’t call maintenance and reported the issue at check out.

Central location that was great for both Old Town Temecula and Wine Country! Staff was very helpful and friendly, made us feel very welcome. Hotel is very loud though. There were multiple traveling sports teams in the hotel and the kids were running around all night and jumping off of beds, made for a day of drinking into a night of headaches. Continental breakfast was really good but get there early the line gets backed up quickly!

Great hotel, the only thing I would recommend is to request a room away from the freeway. On the 3rd floor, facing the freeway, i woke up several times to the cats passing by. Otherwise, no other issues with my stay.

I recently stayed here and overall had an above-average experience. The breakfast options were great with plenty to choose from each morning. The location is a big plus, right off the freeway and close to shopping and dining, which made getting around very convenient.
The only downside was the shower. The water pressure wasn’t the best, and the temperature kept shifting from warm to cold, which was frustrating.
Aside from that, the stay was comfortable and pleasant, and I’d consider returning thanks to the convenience and solid amenities.

Long-time Customer Disappointed by Poor Service
Let me start by saying, we have been staying at this hotel in Temecula, California a couple times each year for about 15 years. We have kept going back because we liked the customer service, location, breakfast, and decent accommodations. I am also a rewards member for this hotel chain, so I expected at least polite treatment at the front desk. This trip the front desk employees exhibited TERRIBLE customer service. We do not plan to return to this hotel. After standing at the front desk for a while with no one helping me, the male employee reluctantly came to the front desk because his supervisor / manager told him to get out of the back room behind the front desk, in order to help me at the front desk (not sure why the supervisor / manager could not help me since she was right there). When I requested to check in, the male employee told me that I could not check-in until a little over an hour later. Usually, this is not such a big deal to me, as I told the employee. However, this trip, I had heat sensitive items in my car and it was 100 degrees outside. Again, the waiting was not as much of an issue as the rude attitude and inattentiveness. These employees both need some customer service training, and maybe a lesson in economics, as they have lost our business.

It's surprisingly quiet being next to freeway...I stayed on side opposite freeway and didn't hear any traffic. Nice location fairly close to old town and main road into the wineries. Fast food nearby for night time binges. Breakfast is good, to make use of it at the hotel. This is pretty standard for Springfield...better than most other hotels in this price range.

It was so consistent, daytime and nighttime, that it started to sound more like a heavy cart rolling back and forth, but that didn't make sense, either. We enjoyed our stay. We only stayed one night but everything was easy from parking to check in. They did not have a keyless option to go straight up to the room but I have no complaints about my in person check in experience. The hotel was clean. You are near the freeway so the traffic noise was to be expected but nothing too loud unless you are a light sleeper. The free breakfast area was a nice bonus and the room had a microwave and mini fridge if needed. It’s a good option for families. I plan on returning and booking a couple of rooms for a wedding in the Fall. I’d definitely stay again.

My reasons for not giving five stars is the water was never hot in the five days we stayed and the carpets have a damp feel. Honestly, a remodel of the rooms is needed. This was a perfect location for a night stay after the wineries and close to Pechanga Casino. The breakfast was good with more variety then just a continental breakfast such as waffles, oatmeal, great coffee, eggs, sausage, bagels, fruit and cereal. My only complaint was don't sleep on the freeway side because it's hard to sleep with the car noise especially once traffic starts picking up. Also, parking is free. Additionally, the room was clean and reminded me of a little suite.
