I booked a Junior Suite for a Mother’s Day getaway, but the experience was deeply disappointing due to poor management.
• Check-in Failure: Despite a 4 PM check-in time, the room wasn't ready, and staff couldn't provide a timeframe. This forced my elderly parents to change in the bath house without robes or lockers, only for the room to become ready right after.
• Poor Accessibility: The resort layout is difficult for seniors. Having to trek from the pool to the parking lot and then to a 2nd-floor room with no elevator was exhausting. Parking was also unavailable near our room.
• Cleanliness: I found hair in the bath house showers and on the room blankets. The hallway carpets were also visibly dirty.
The patio view and the jacuzzi were great, and the staff was kind enough to waive the resort fee. However, the logistical chaos made the trip a failure for my parents, leading us to check out at 7 AM the next day. I wouldn't recommend this place for those traveling with elderly family members.

This was my second time staying at Marriott Hot Springs. I enjoyed the experience the 1st time more. It’s a very relaxing experience with great atmosphere. The reason I only gave it four stars is because we arrived early and were staying the night. It was in the middle of the week and not very crowded. There was a $50 charge to check in early when there was clearly rooms available. We did not get a text to check in until 10 minutes before check in time. Then we were given a room facing the parking lot and there were many Lakeview rooms available. Disappointing.

We came to Murieta Hot spring for the birthday celebration. We stayed for few nights. Checking in experience wasn't pleasant at all. Instead of getting inside the room at 4pm, we waited another 3 hours. When we finally got our room, it was dirty. No one bothers to clean it. At the rnd of our stay, staff wasn't able to explain clearly what happened.
We enjoyed pools,jacuzzis and territories of the Hot springs.

This is not a four star property, at least based on comparables. Four star is usually Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton. The property and grounds at this resort may rise to four star, but the rooms, buildings, housekeeping do not. Having said that, in this part of California there are not many nicer hotels, but this is an older property that could use some work, at least where I was in the 6000’s. The common areas were very tired, poor lighting, stained carpeting. The rooms themselves were ok, minimalist and functional. The property doesn’t make a great first impression.

unfortunately, there was one major downfall with this stay, which was our room. At the bottom of the door, there was a huge (maybe 2 inch) gap. We were worried bugs would come in and it was also not soundproof at all. You could definitely hear everything from outside as well as the neighbors and upstairs rooms. Besides this, everything was great I definitely would not want to stay in that same area again.

Nothin but great things to say! Room was very clean, the staff was friendly at registration. I had the opportunity to take an aqua yoga class and the instructor was great! Very patient. It was not crowded at all however I did stay Wed-Fri so I can’t speak for the weekend. I will definitely stay here again!

The property is beautiful. The rooms are beautiful. The barista at the next door coffee shop is friendly and informative. The instructor for yoga and sound baths is great. But there were some misses. The front desk staff is not very warm upon arrival. Also, we had multiple issues getting our room cleaned and service. Calls to the front desk in the morning and afternoon seem to be ignored. We were able to finally get assistance during the evening from another staff member, and spoke to the manager the following morning. He was very helpful and listened to our concerns. He also agreed to personally ensure our next visit would meet the high standards they have. We do look forward to returning.

Great resort with several amenities and lot of space to walk. A central lake very relaxing to observe.
The staff was taking take care you have a great temperature in the hot springs. It was great and cozy at night. Hot springs are open all day.
We stayed at the lakeside lodge and it was in general a very relaxing experience. I will definately go back.

Really disappointed in guest accommodations as well as the advertisement of being able to have 24 hour access. Unfortunately all spas and pools do not stay warm and were very cold. Also disappointing to come to a spa overnight stay with a broken wrist and no concierge available to deliver my bags to the room. Several flights of stairs and trips to my room made it difficult to relax and enjoy my stay.

It was ok but the room had issues with the air conditioner. Kept turning on the heat at night. We let them know, Still didnt fix the problem. Happened the whole time we were there. Also came back and housekeeping took toilet paper didnt replace it, NO TOILET PAPER or replace our paper cups for coffee or replace towels and in the hallway left towels and stuff on the floor overnight. I think housekeeping could be better. Just not what i expected. For what we paid. 3 nights stay. Loved the 24 hour access to pools.

The property itself is beautiful, with a wide variety of hot springs at different temperatures. The mud spa was definitely the highlight of my stay.

However, the service was very disappointing. The hotel mistakenly charged nearly $500 to my Visa card. Although I reported it to the front desk and they acknowledged the error and removed the charge, I was still told it would take 3–5 business days for the refund to be processed. This was frustrating, especially since it was clearly the hotel’s mistake.

Additionally, I requested towels and bathrobes to be delivered to my room, but they never arrived, even by the time I checked out.

While the property is stunning, the service does not match the quality of the facilities. I would recommend carefully reviewing your bill to avoid overcharges. Also, don’t rely on room service or delivery requests, as there didn’t seem to be a reliable way to contact the front desk from the room.

They have done an amazing job at renovating this property over the past 2yrs..we have been coming as day spa clients through out and this is first time staying overnight. The room and building was done in a very 70s vibe true to the architecture. The only complaint is the poor lighting in the bathroom.

The resort looks gorgeous, the grounds are well maintained. It is pleasure to walk around. I wish there was some hiking trail since there are 30 acres of land and walking outside of the property is very unpleasant due to heavy traffic and minimal sidewalks availability. The pools are pleasant. The staff told us that the water is changed at least daily, but we noticed that it is done once a week. I wish they maintained the smaller pools with thermal water more often. The room cleaning was very minimal. We had to ask to vacuum our room after stepping on sharp object. We really appreciated the fact that we had robes and pool towels unlimited. The food in yhe resort is way overpriced, the coffee shop had very limited choices and paying 10-15 dollars for a cup of coffee was unpleasant surprise. The good part is, there is Trader Joe's just 7 minutes away by car ( we used Uber) where you can get everything for daily meal/snack choices for quarter of the price and much healthier choices. I wish there was little kitchenette in the room to make iy more comfortable for the guests. The cafeteria tables need a little more cleaning. Nobody cleans those after each guest use. Hence, flies and stains of food on every table.

Brown Widow spiders on patio furniture AND throughout the room! There were two brown widows that made a web on my yoga mat inside the room. Then I inspected the whole room and on both sides of the bed were brown widows and a huge black spider behind the headboard of bed. Brown widows all throughout patio furniture. We left a night early because the room was totally infested with dangerous spiders. Not to mention cookie crumbs, rose pedals, and garlic cloves left behind from previous guests that were not cleaned up.
The property itself was beautiful but the room was hazardous, dirty, and very unsettling.

It said the spas are open 24 hours but they’re really not if you’re an early bird and you’d like to go to the sauna and the steam room at 6 AM well it doesn’t open until 10 AM plus the sun was under construction.

We had a queen room in the lakeside lodge, and it was amazing! The beds were comfortable and it was so quiet. We didn't have to use the ear plugs at all. The staff was always helpful but it was sometimes difficult to reach anyone at the front desk. This was frustrating when we wanted towels but we ended up just getting our steps in and walked to the lobby.
I'm happy that we stayed so that we could use the guest inclusive tubs. It was great being able to relax without a crowd and relax into the night.
We love the coffee shop and were sad that the restaurant was closed on the days we were there. We are already planning our next midweek trip and will make sure to be there on a Wednesday.
I love the resort and I'm suggesting it to all of my friends. Easy to get to and I'm thankful we have something like this in SoCal.

It’s difficult for me to leave negative feedback, especially since this visit was meant to celebrate my mom’s birthday. While the resort itself was okay, the customer service was extremely disappointing.
We visited on a rainy day, and our robes became completely soaked. We called in the morning to request a robe exchange and were told someone would come up to assist us. Unfortunately, despite calling five times throughout the day, no one ever showed up. As a result, we ended up wasting an entire day. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations. I’ve visited Glen Ivy before and found it to be a much better experience. The main reason we chose this resort was because it offered hotel accommodations, but unfortunately, it was not a great experience and truly took away from what should have been a special birthday celebration for my mom.

Upon our arrival, my party used the robes provided in our room for the spa; however, they remained wet the following morning. I contacted the front desk multiple times and was assured replacements would be delivered. Despite follow-ups with both the front desk and housekeeping, no robes were provided throughout the day. When I returned after housekeeping service, the wet robes had been removed but not replaced.
I later left the room expecting replacements to be provided during housekeeping. When I returned in the late afternoon, the room had been cleaned and the wet robes removed, but no replacements were left. After contacting the front desk again and waiting an additional 45 minutes, I ultimately had to go to the lobby myself. I was initially given only one and told none were available, despite having requested replacements all day. The associate seemed reluctant to give me a new set of robes because their system showed my requests as “completed” even though I never received any. Only after escalating the issue was I finally provided with two robes.
This unnecessary delay disrupted my spa experience, resulted in significant wasted time, and left me without proper attire in cold conditions. I became ill following the trip, which I believe was exacerbated by this situation.
Even after a formal complaint, the resort acknowledged my concerns but refused to provide a fair resolution. This response showed a lack of care for guest experience, and I will not be returning.

The property was pretty and the big pond in the middle was a great view to relax to. We stayed at the resort and at the beginning it was somewhat confusing the setup of the rooms and the spas (pools). The hot pools were not as hot as we thought, this was a common feedback I heard from other people in the pool.
